Prompt service and welcome. It was a birthday breakfast and we were served and left alone which waswhT we wanted. Only issue - not enough table space for all the breakfast items.

Excellent food and excellent friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We Will definitely return in the future. Prosecco lovely and cold.

We eat here a lot. On this occasion food was not up to snuff - it seemed it was left on warming station too long and was dry (chicken and steak tough). Did not want to make a fuss as it was a birthday visit.

Very friendly and prompt service on the early bird menu - booked online which made it very easy - good selection of food and drinks

Really lovely food and lovely lady that served us. It is on the pricey side but it’s still the best place in Hayward’s Heath in my opinion.

Côte Brasserie - Haywards Heath. We were greeted by a welcoming smile...... We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary by enjoying a delicious three course lunch accompanied by a complimentary bottle of white wine. One of the very best restaurants found in West Sussex.

Went for breakfast with my friend the waiter we had was the nicest I have experienced in haywards heath for a very long time. The food was delicious and brought out quickly.

Lovely food and excellent experience. Especially enjoyed the special menu this evening. The only distraction were the staff antics, they should not the entertainment. They should be seen but not heard.

I always have the same, because they do it so well. Steakind tartare and steak fries with roquefort butter with a glass of merlot. Simply divine.

Can't fault our visit. All the staff were polite, efficient and friendly. The food was amazing and they even sang happy birthday to my husband.

Courteous, attentive (but not imposing) service. Great cuisine prepared and presented beautifully and cooked to perfection - clean plates the only clue that we had been eating. Service was provided by absolutely charming, caring young ladies. Overall, wonderful special evening for my wife in celebration of her 70th birthday - thank you Cote !

I love cote and the food is always great! Never complain :) The waitress we had today wasn’t as friendly as previous service I’ve had, maybe it was too early in the morning for her!

We had a lovely dinner celebrating a family birthday. We were presented with a glass of celebratory fizz on arrival and the food and service were both excellent. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

A brilliant meal with friendly and efficient service as usual. Pity about the noise level. Is there no means of deadening the very loud background sound?

Up to the normal standard we would not have visited normally as we would have gone to the Horsham Cote, being nearer to where we live

Cote in Brighton has always been marvellous, however sporadic service over cooked food followed by a complete lack of interest really dented my love for core. My guess is simply don't use the Haywards Heath Cote , I know that I won't

Good food - dealt with allergy well. Lovely waiter - made a fuss of the birthday boy. Food was well presented. Lunchtime fixed price menu- good value. Will definitely return.

Birthday celebration .. could not fault the atmosphere or service . My daughter’s favourite steak frites was still a delight! Right ... who’s birthday is next???

Reliably tasty food with not unreasonable prices. Overall a very positive experience, as usual. We are regulars there. The service is always enthusiastic. We do recommend and would suggest others do, too.

We've always enjoyed Cote in the past but seeing some bad reviews that ran contrary to our own experience, we thought we'd better check to see if things had deteriorated over the past few months. The answer...not at all! Friendly and suitably fast service of great quality food! It is a little pricey but I suppose you get what you pay for - the food really is great. The negative posts bamboozle us!

Service OK but a little slow. Selected food not to my taste. Why do I need to say more, you have my opinion. Now you can act on it or ignore it.

Lovely restaurant. All the staff are really lovely - especially the couple from our usual Cote in Horsham. The food is always good at Cote, whichever Cote we visit.

Good food and friendly service. Got confused over our desserts (brought us completely wrong ones!) but soon rectified the error. Lovely lunch and reasonable price.

There were 10 of us, 9 adults and my 7 month old grand-daughter and we were very well looked after. Excellent food, very friendly, professional, welcoming & helpful staff & a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Simone who took very good care of us & the impromptu birthday dessert for my wife was a lovely & unexpected bonus.

Good food, good service in nice environment at a good price what’s not to like. The staff are also very attentive so no waiting between courses.

Overall, very pleased and happy. Excellent steak cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach was a little cold when served. The service was polite and efficient.

Food was good as always but we usually visit the Horsham restaurant. This one, Haywards Heath, was very noisy due to both others customers and voices of staff. Also staff were not very attentive and we had to ask again for things like bread which came after I had eaten my starter! Won't be visiting this branch again.

The food as always is excellent but the waiter was far too pushy with other items. eg olives, garlic bread, bread, more wine, deserts etc. While we appreciate this is probably in is his remit, it was put over in a more or less,... 'have it or else' fashion. Probably me being too grumpy at the time but nevertheless I think it should be a little more tempered. It did not spoil another great evening at Cote

Really enjoyable, the food, service and atmosphe were great, even with a bonus of a candle in dessert and the rendition of happy birthday. Will return whether we have a celebration
