Great food. We all had different cuts of steak but all cooked to perfection and excellent service. Frites wonderful. We would highly recommend a visit.

Everything was almost perfect and helped along with the complimentary bottle of wine! However, I would have given a rating of six if the staff hadn't got one of our deserts wrong. But this was dealt with in a very professional manner, the desert being changed and not charged for,

Excellent meal, the lamb special was very tender and my wife liked the tuna. We have visited Cote a number of times and never been disappointed

Excellent ambiance,welcoming and sufficiently attentive staff, good food and reasonable value. The standard of this and all Cote restaurants I have experienced is consistently high.

All 8 meals came out together , looked & tasted delicious, presentation fab. Juices cool and tasty. Decor and cleanliness top notch! Attentive polite staff from beginning to end. Hotter food be better.

Two out of three meals were good but the mains on the third was a sirloin requested as 'rare'. It arrived on a very hot plate and was both" well done" and tough. This would of scored 2 on its own and the other two 5's hence the score of 4.

Cote Brasserie is always reliable. Good food, good service and a regular "modification" of the menu. Have always come away very satisfied and will return many more times.

As usual, the staff at Cote were welcoming, the service was prompt and the food up to the standards I have come to expect at every Cote I have eaten at. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Arrived in time for early evening menu offer. Good choice, tasty food & drink, friendly efficient staff. If anything, would have liked to linger longer but we will return.

Long business lunch for three of us - good food, great service, excellent wine, most enjoyable experience. We were a long time talking at the table but were not hurried at all - well done!

We went when it was relatively quiet and the staff had time. But the staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and well laid out as were the toilets. The food was good, not as tasty as I was expecting but none the less it was enjoyed by us both. We also had the early bird deal and it made it incredible value. Overall very impressed and looking forward to going back. Well done the team there

Lovely food and fast service. Restaurant was really nice and so were the staff. The breakfast menu deal is really good value for money, I definitely recommend it.

Only had a quick, light lunch - all perfectly good. Nice to have a good Chablis on by the glass! Service good. Will return soon

New Year’s Eve is probably not the best time to choose to dine out as the service was extremely slow. Our table was booked for 8:15pm and the wait between courses was long. By 10pm, we had just been finished the starter. We finally left the restaurant at 11:15pm. It was just as well we were in no great rush, the waiter was however apologetic. Food was ok, I had asked for my steak to be rare, it came medium - I wasn’t going to send it back as it had taken so long to arrive. We’ve been to this restaurant on other occasions and the service has been ok, so we’ve not been put off.

Lovely meal, service a bit slow - given it was new year's eve, acceptable. Reduced menu choice, but all the charcuterie, steak and creme caramel, all delicious.

Fantastic experience, wonderful food and great atmosphere also a great experience and the staff’s attention to detail always makes a wonderful family experience. Special thanks to two managers on shift.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the steak/frites and my son had calamari and duck. All delicious and very nice wine, too. Good service, very friendly young staff and a nice atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Good food, good service, lovely atmosphere. Went for breakfast eve, it was good that we booked in a dance though. Good choice on menu especially for veggies.

As always, we received a warm welcome and were seated promptly having been given the option of two tables to choose from. The menu is quite extensive and is full of provincial French gems plus Breton chicken and several steak options. As an appetizer for four, we chose to share a variety of flatbreads, olives, saucisson, and the most delicious calamari that came with a chopped garlic and parsley topping. We followed that with a duck confit for two, a Breton chicken and the pork belly. Everything came well presented with generous plated sides, substantial, hot and tasty and pretty soon, there was nothing left. My only gripe is that for £3-50, the extra side dishes are tiny and are barely enough for one person; they should be made bigger and there should be an option to have a larger portion, but for a nominal extra charge. We shared a sticky chocolate fondant for two and one had vanilla ice cream and the only reason I did not give six stars for this meal was that we had to repeatedly ask for more water to be brought when our own server was elsewhere; she was marvellous, but several others were not so attentive. I can highly recommend Cote as a chain and Café Rouge might as well close down now.

The service was impeccable, our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious and delivered promptly. It was great value for money also. Have been before and would definitely return. location is ideal when travelling back from London to Brighton.

Excellent breakfast and dealt with efficiently and pleasantly throughout. Had kir Royale on the house as it was my birthday...and was sung to by all! Great service.

Nice greeting on arrival but restaurant very basic compared to other cote restaurants and service though cheerful was quite slow. Our party of 6 had a good evening but the restaurant lacked Christmas atmosphere.

Disappointing steak but staff were excellent and replaced it. You can tell a good restaurant by its service recovery and they were excellent. It has not put me off returning.

Good chain, pleasant menu to chose from and lovely atmosphere. The service was professional and friendly but I felt we were interrupted a few times mid sentence.

Exactly what we expect from Côte, predictably good food. Friendly staff. Accommodating of children, and no problem that one of them only wanted to eat bread rather than a meal!

Friendly and attentive service and the tiger prawns were delicious. The steak au poivre had a rich sauce and just enough pepper heat. It was a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming environment.

Overall a very good and enjoyable experience the service was good and the food,apart from a slightly dry chicken was good , a spacious and comfortable restaurant.

Not the usual high standard we usually receive. 45 minutes between starter and main a little excessive. Quality of steak not as good as usual. Very boil in the bag

I went to my local Cotes in Haywards Heath with 3 other people. The food was excellent hot and well cooked. The staff as always were friendly and efficient. Good value for money in really nice surroundings

Very enjoyable-bread should not be charged for and some medium priced wines would be nice ridiculously priced wines which must be marked-up at 300 % plus.
