It was quite busy tonight and noisy but staff coped well. Enjoyed food as ever. Forgot side order but no hesitation in deducting from bill

Very good as ever, attentive service and well cooked food. The options on the set menu and there was a prestige set menu for a few pounds extra. Both very good value.

Salmon was rather over cooked, became too moist and 'over soft'. Usual lovely staff, 'complimentary water' could be colder, really rather overdoing it, it is just water!

Friendly staff and excellent food as always, plus freebie drink. Would have rated one higher but the apple crumble was a bit average. Otherwise all good.

Best veggie breakfast ever. Service is good, as usual. Had a nice table facing the window. We were early 9.30 on a Sunday it was quiet but was busy by the time we left. There's a reason it's so popular.

As always lovely food , attentive, friendly staff and good value for money. Faultless. We have many restaurants to choose from in this area but always choose “ cote” as we’ve never been disappointed.

Sunday evening Dinner. Consistently good food and service. I had a dish from the specials menu and my partner from the a la carte menu and both were uniformly good. Highly recommended.

Great service and very very good food. Knowledgeable about gluten free and the best menu I have been offered with gluten free choices, didn’t feel like I wasn’t having to have something just because it was the only GF choice.

Your service was excellent, lunch was top quality and the welcome we received (including our inquisitive 2 year old) was perfect. We will certainly be back soon.

Always a nice atmosphere, staff very polite and quite attentive but could engage slightly more, It’s a shame on Sundays you do not have the 3 course menu running for maybe a couple of pound more.

We had an excellent time at the restaurant and the food was great. We would recommend it to our friends. The Terrine was lovely but would prefer Pate.

the portions were small for the price we paid, it was very noisy in there l could hardly hear my wife speaking to me sitting opposite, so no l would not recommend the restaurant at all and we do eat out a lot.

Excellent food and attentive but not intrusive service and good value for money too. The tables are well spaced so one is sitting too close to other guests. What more can one ask for.

Usually very good at this Cote, but today the service was poor (slow), the orders were wrong when the food arrived, and the food was tepid at best. Very disappointed.

It was good value for money -we had the early bird menu, nice buzzy atmosphere and very good prompt service. The food was all delicious.

Excellent meal- lots of choice. Very reasonable prices for a set menu lunch and friendly, helpful staff. If I have one complaint it is that they checked up on how we were enjoying ourselves just a little too often.

Clean, good decor, staff friendly. But fairly limited choice menu, average quality food. Out of stock of sparkling water (and waitress said they had been for a few days!)

Slow service, didn’t have any smoked salmon, forgot some of the drinks that we ordered. Had to ask for butter to go with our toast..... Can I ask why you put jam on the table? We opened it to have with our toast and where told it was not for eating..... We have very much enjoyed our other visits to your Haywards heath branch but today was disappointing.

Friendly And attentive staff. Food was lovely and portions much bigger than I remembered. Lots of choices for vegetarians also. We attended as a party of 8 which included 2 kids under 5.

Good food and atmosphere, but slightly disappointing service - we felt rushed throughout the meal and our mains arrived whilst we were still eating our starters!

Excellent veal escalope and calamari. So nice to be able to sit out in the Spring sunshine and enjoy a great meal with my wife. She enjoyed her crab starter and roast chicken.

We were greeted by warm and friendly staff who then proceeded in to providing an excellent service. The wine was wonderful and the food fabulous. Angelique was our waitress who was very attentive right the way through our evening. We look forward to coming back again.

We went mid week, it was busy but service still attentive without being pushy. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the pain perdu (brioche bread and butter pudding) for dessert!

The overall standard was good and as a frequent customer of the cote chain the food was not up to the normal standard so a little disappointing

Lovely meal, nice attentive staff. Busy but didn’t feel as if we were being rushed. Dessert a little bit disappointing but that was because my companion had the creme brulee which looked delicious!

Staff a friendly and helpful. Didn't have to wait for attention. Did have to ask for water which usually arrives quickly without having to ask. We did then get two!

We celebrated my birthday at Cote Haywards Heath where the service and food were really excellent. The staff were very helpful at all times and everything went perfectly so thank you to the manager and his colleagues. I would recommend to anyone.

Service was polite but slow even tho' only about 4 tables were occupied. Olives and bread took ages to arrive, in fact after our starters! Ages to attract attention to get a bill. Starters fine but mains a bit disappointing - a french fish stew doesn't need chilli at all so that that the fish flavour is obscured and pity there was no garlic in the moules. Mousse OK and the place was clean and pleasant but noisy dispite lack of guests.

Lunch at Cote Haywards Heath was once again a wonderful experience, great staff, super food and delicious wine. Atmosphere perfect for a relaxing Sunday lunch. Highly recommended.

Amazing friendly and welcoming service and attention to detail. One of our guests was vegan and they offered to adapt meals on the vegetarian menu to make them vegan into options so they had more choice. Could do with a dedicated vegan menu, but impressed with the vegetarian options and effort to accommodate the vegan guest. Delicious food arrived promptly and hot. Lovely deserts too!

Good food in a lovely environment, added bonus of a free bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday. Will come again to the Haywards Heath Branch of Cote.

Cote food always good standard, found it crazy thst we couldn’t have a lime & soda to start due to not having any lime cordial- how bizzare is that!!! Also staff were not to the standard we’ve been used to at the Horsham restaurant.
