Côte Haywards Heath

Very friendly service and delicious food. There was a good choice of items in the menu. The only difficulty was that the hard walls and floor made the conversation in the restaurant very loud.

It was a perfectly enjoyable experience and Edam was the perfect host. The fish parmentier was a bit loose but this did not detract from the evening.

The food was delicious with good presentation and excellent selection of wines by the glass. Service was efficient and female waiter very personable. Thank you.

The Cote in Haywards Heath offers a really excellent breakfast with a reasonable price, super staff and good service. It will now be a regular stop for breakfast for us!

Food was good, service was slow. Staff seemed under pressure. We were there over 2hours & only had main course and one drink each. Would’ve had dessert and more drinks, but by the time the waiter returned we’d lost intrest.

Everything worked at Cote Haywards Heath, the waiting staff were charming and the food was excellent - the veal was perfect and the ambiance was relaxed but professional. We really enjoyed our meal at Cote - superb.

Good choice of food and drinks, good service and they honoured the free aperitifs offer after I'd had to cancel the previous booking, and the website didn't recognise it.

Great food and service. I feel the service charge of 12.5% is a little bit steep. It should be 10% Very nice decore and good to have the bifold doors open to the road for that al fresco feel. There is a large area outside to eat too with umbrellas and self operated heaters if you get chilly

You are made to feel welcome and the food is good whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The prices are competitive too. We go to Cote quite often.

Gorgeous evening so sat outside where it was full, no free tables. Felt service was not as attentive as normal. Had to ask to order drinks and for the bill at the end.

i didnt feel the food was up to the usual Cote standard. I dont usually go this particular branch but the food was a bit dried up and looked as if it had been kept a bit too long. We had the bruschetta with anchovies and the bread was very crisp - rather overdone. The potatoes with my chicken looked as if they had been sitting in the warming drawer a bit too long Staff were friendly and attentive.

Always have a good meal at this resaraunt. Service was good especially in the extreme heat. Sat outside and the decor does need attention and the seats need changing but all in all very good

Lovely outside eating area, great for brunch with extensive brunch menu and brunch cocktails. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, they were also very helpful in accommodating the infant we took.

As always a very warm and efficient welcome. The new (for me) Prestige Set Menu was good value and attractive in its choice of dishes from the main menu. The Moules starter and Creme Caramel pudding were outstanding and the belly pork main was up to its usual standard. Service and personal welcome were as good as ever.

Food was awful, however as it was my birthday my partner didn't want to complain, we won't eat there again, it was a shame as I enjoy the one in Brighton

My husband and I visited our local Cote yesterday and we both had a delicious meal. The service was excellent and the whole ambience of the restaurant is great. We have been to several Cote restaurants and have received good service at all but one.

Excellent service & food. We thoroughly enjoyed our night out. The table waiters/waitresses were very attentive & cheerful. Food was delicious. We had visited Cote a couple of days before meal was planned to see if we could see where we likely to be seated as would have two elderly guests with us who get cold, so wanted to avoid sitting near doors etc. We were given idea table to accommodate our needs. Thankyou so much for a lovely night.

Continued good service, always welcoming and efficient whilst also seeming personalised. Food presented in a stylish manner and hot and tasty. The menu gives a good range of choices.

Another excellent meal. It was a quiet night because of the England World Cup match but there was sufficient atmosphere and the staff were fully attentive.

The reservation was on a Monday evening, there was seating available both inside and outside, we chose inside in case the temperature turned cooler than expected. The server was very attentive and very helpful. The food was all very pleasant with no complaints amongst our table for 6. We will be going back.

A 25ml glass of wine at £7.10 was a bit of a shock but the food was excellent and the staff welcoming. We shall go again but not order wine!

The waiters that served us were very polite and friendly. They were also super patient with us when extra unexpected guests arrived. The food was delicious as always.

Was our first time visiting Cote, It was my birthday treat. We were greeted by a very nice pleasant young man called Charlie who showed us to our seats guided us around the wine list and menus, The food was delicious and very good value, we plumped for the 'Prestige Menu'. Could not fault the look of the restaurant or the service, I had a wonderful b day, will gladly come back again recommend most highly.

With the weather glorious, we ate outside last night. We were made very welcome by the staff (as always), and the food was excellent - both quality and value for money.

Lovely menu. Need more summer puddings would be perfect. Staff are very helpful and having some classical music in the background would also be a bonus
