Service was slow and staff were rude . Won’t be recommending going there for future meals.

We met for a colleague catch up and we all had a lovely meal. Service was spot on we had a lovely evening. One negative the restaurant was not particularly warm.

Cote food is of a very good consistent quality and the staff are friendly and well trained

Lovely minute steak, good night out. Only down point, plum tart was served cold; hadn’t expected that and some rice in my friend’s risotto was hard.

Excellent as always, great food, wine and customer service with a buzzy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Impeccable service from the time I walked in the door to our departure, when door was very politely held open for us. No issues with gluten-free menu and food was delicious.

The experience in this visit was not great from both a food and service perspective. Which is unusual as this restaurant is usually a great dining experience. I’m sure this was just a one off.

Brilliant food, lovely service- we always know it will be a good experience at Cote Hayward’s Heath!

A pleasant evening let down by the food - the fillet steak was beautifully cooked but you can’t make poor quality beef taste better by being a good chef!

Eggs returned back twice-clearly the cook needs to read the orders carefully

We always enjoy our meals at Cote, wherever situated they are. The food is always good, well presented and the staff are always pleasant and obliging. Good value for money too. We just wish they had gone ahead with the proposed opening in East Grinstead.

From when we entered the restaurant, the staff were very polite and attentive. We had two servers, one was called Bobbi but I can’t remember the other ladies name but they were both great. A very good experience.

First time at Cotes. Food very good. Service was excellent!

We always enjoy Cote but are disappointed they have removed Breton Stew from the menu. Also, the ‘specials’ menu for Sunday never changes!

Service as not as slick as usual branch in Horsham, problems with food but remedied. Longer wait time for food too.

Excellent as usual. Skilled staff, great food. Goat's cheese and roasted vegetable salad really good, with it's crisp toast and high quality tapenade. Boeuf Bourgignonne fab.

Welcoming team. Service excellent. Served promptly. Server attentive. I didn’t like the olives. Too hot, thick sauce on them too rich. I was hoping for a simple cornichon, olive platter. On previous visits, the mixed Oliver platter is too bitter. Sorry! I had the endive starter, and the dressing was too bitter, not nice, and the egg fridge cold. However the beef en croute was delicious.

My wife and I had a lovely evening. It was our 2 years wedding Anniversary. Throughly enjoy the evening and our waiter was brilliant we look forward to coming back. Many Thanks Steve Farrell

We went for a late Sunday lunch. Three adults and two youngsters, and it was not busy – maybe 20% occupied. We had bread and charcuterie to start. It was OK but there was not much on the plate - less than last time. The three main courses of fish pie were inedible because greasy cheese and oil or butter overpowered the fish. One was sent back and the others were left half eaten. The server seemed more concerned with setting up tables in other parts of the restaurant than properly looking after us. The children' breaded fish dishes were tasteless. A very poor experience.

Waited nearly 40 minutes for main course after starter. Restaurant barely busy so no excuse. Very bad. Beef Bourgignon was over-cooked ( ie reduced and thus salty).

Lovely food and staff. We had to wait a while for some drinks and a couple of the food orders were incorrect but were quickly changed. All in all a good experience.

Another lovely meal with the friendly staff adding to the enjoyment. Well done!

Visited cote for my daughter’s 15 th Birthday all the staff were attentive, friendly and polite. We all had a fabulous family evening thank you 😊

A very enjoyable evening was had by us all. Room does become noisy as the room fills up partly due to the decor.

Everyone enjoyed their meal , service very efficient and nicely paced to our needs. Good value too ...
