Everything was good apart from no orangina in stock so not much choice of soft drink

Great food and service, thank you. Had a little delay but that is only to be expected in these times.

Great food and service as usual. In particular our waitress was brilliant. Polite, professional and attentive.

I understand there may be teething problems with re opening, there were a few mistakes however. Bookings were queueing outside for sometime before being seem to, there were no water glasses given out for the chilled house water which there was a shortage of. There was a shortage of steak knives. The tomatoes breton was not as described. It is no longer mixed heritage tomatoes, just standard red tomatoes with little capers and dressing. I would rather it not be on the menu if the ingredients cannot be sourced. Staff were very pleasant despite obviously very busy so they did a good job.

The food was good Social distancing was being observed with good amounts of space between each table. The staff were working very hard as the restaurant was running at full capacity and they all wore face shields. The guest manager on the front door managing guest reservations was extremely good and he was clearly managing guest expectations in a positive way A nice meal and evening out 😀

Busy restaurant, great to see so many guests. Sufficient staff which was very important. Some training going on which was also good. Overall a good meal with good food.

Had two courses. Melon with ham. Lamb cutlets. Melon was hard and had no taste whatsoever. A pinch of cinnamon might have helped. Lamb cutlets were nice but the peas would have been better served on their own without being saturated in mint. The mint could be offered as an option. I had chips instead of potatoe gratin since I dislike the taste of cheese intensely. Some people do not like cheese. Shame restaurants don't take this into consideration and offer it as a separate option.

Great job by everyone at Cote tonight. We had booked but had to wait a few mins for a table to be ready. The place was packed but the service and food were pretty good. One wrong main course was brought out but that was quickly rectified.

Food was great, everyone enjoyed every course. Couple of problems with dishes not being ready at right time, but staff were great and did there upmost to sort things. Will definitely be back

We had such a lovely meal at Cote, thank you to the staff who are working so hard. We had a wonderful time and everything was delicious! So pleased you are open again, it was a lovely treat. My salmon was perfect, loved the frozen berries dessert. My friends had steak and chicken dishes, as well as the chocolate fondant. It was all delicious!

Lovely food, my child is very fussy and he really enjoyed it ..staff very professional and even if they have to carry a face shield all day, they keep their smile and are very polite and patient

Great prompt service. Did order olives which didnt come. No problem as the main course came quickly. The belly pork was disappointing, 70 % fat, no crispiness at all. I should have sent it back but didnt so they didnt get a chance to sort it. Olives were still on bill even though the waitress did say she would remove them. So a couple of minor points but we did come away happy.

Food was excellent. Service was slow for the main but happy to sit inside with air conditioning while it was a scortching 34c outside. All in all a good experience.

This was our 3ed visit since the reopening, I had booked for 8.30. On arrival it the place was rammed , we opted for a few minutes wait to have an outside table , despite how busy and hot it was we were extremely well looked after

Very busy evening thanks to Eat Out to Help Out. Wemanaged to get s table outside as requested (although not promised). Service was a little slow, as staff were rushed off their feet (maybe understaffed). However, as always, they were extremely polite. My only concern was not having any hand sanitizer on arrival.

Fantastic service and felt safe during the Covid situation. All waiters were attentive, food was excellent as always and great to see they were part of the Eat out to Help out scheme. Would always go back!

Treated myself to the lobster with dine out discount. It was slightly overcooked and quite small but good value when taking into account this dish is on a restaurant chain menu and was still enjoyable. The crab starter was lovely as usual. The glass of ordinary fizz at 125ml is ridiculously small and expensive. It's not cheap to eat here but I like the ambience and the service too. Wish they would put families with small children at the back so adults can enjoy their visit in peace!

Very nice dinner as always and service and attentiveness of staff excellent. Even though they are required to wear visors they don't let it get in the way of their attention to customers or their general mood. A very enjoyable visit, my first to a restaurant since the beginning of March 2020.

It was really good to get back to dining at Cote the welcome was warm and the serving staff were so chatty and friendly. All the food that we all had was perfect. The atmosphere was relaxing a perfect break away from everything. We will be back again

First really glad you are open and the staff at Hayward’s Heath were great - but the meal was not quite up to Cotes usual standard. First course - gazpacho and chicken liver parfait were good - gazpacho especially - very well flavoured. Second course - poulet grille was fine - well flavoured sauce and good quality tasting meat - the accompanying potato and creamed spinach sides were not great however - the potato dauphinois was dry and the portion small - the spinach was a bit overwhelmed by the cream but the fish parmentier was poor - with a thin rather watery sauce instead of the expected rich and creamy one . Puddings - creme caramel and coup noir were both fine - as was the wine - Sauvignon blanc. But at £86 for two the meal was expensive and not very good value for money . Also menus were not laminated and it wasn’t clear they were disposed of after our use.

Staff were great. Social distancing & staff wearing face visors was very reassuring. Food & service was great, made our visit for my wife’s birthday really enjoyable. Will return. Thank you.

The service was amazing! Very professional! I asked for my food to take away and someone ended up throwing it in the bin by accident so the manager asked if I wanted them to make a new or give me a refund which I thought was very lovely of him. My boyfriend had a steak which he very much enjoyed although the chips were rock hard which made them very difficult to eat. Overall, we had a lovely evening and the service was great.

First time back after lockdown. Reserved table bookings only, and a small queue to get in, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes. Our table was more than obeying the distancing rules, as were all the others. Food and service were up to normal standards, perhaps slightly slower service than normal but nothing concerning. Great to have a helping hand from Rishi when it came to paying the bill.

Overall always pleased to eat out at cote. We had a great experience the only down fall was having to wait so long to order the next courses. We also didn’t have water on the table like we always do.

The staff here really make the restaurant – always friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. Food is repeatedly a winner and service faultless. Feel lucky to have such a great go-to restaurant within walking distance.
