Tried to push a limited edition wine which we were not interested in 😥 Food delicious as always. Service of 12.5% for 2 people steep.

Very attentive staff and delicious food . A delightful dinning experience in a calm and relaxing setting. What more could you ask for? Thanks for a lovely birthday dinner!

When busy it's very loud so hard to relax. A bit over priced for the good you get. Service is great though. My chicken was a bit dry this time around but my daughter said the best calamari she's ever had

Lovely food, great service and friendly staff. Treated my Mum to lunch and had a great meal. We both choose from the set price lunch menu and the food and choice was great! Really hard to decide which dish to order. Great value for money!.

Food was very good, but 'rookie' waitress neglected to supply the wine we had ordered with the main course. This was rectified by management, and we were satisfied.

We went yesterday thinking I'd booked for last night to find out I'd booked for another date - luckily there were tables so it was no problem. Lovely food as always and good service. Looking forward to the next time!

As usual a BRILL 'Cotes' meal - great value and friendly, professional service - never fails to please - we will definitely be back !!

All the staff give you such a warm welcome. Most enjoyable food - nicely presented. I am happy to be charged12/5 service charge especially as it goes to the staff.

Found this restaurant location very local in Haywards Heath, central within the shopping area. We found the staff very friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being nearly full and it was a Monday. We were offered a special early evening menu that had a good choice at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the tasty food and chilled wine. Planning to return next week.

As always the food and service were excellent. The waiting staff are friendly and highly professional , warm and friendly. The kitchen staff produced high quality tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. Ten out of ten.

Attentive service and excellent breakfast as would be expected. Wasn't necessary to book for an early Saturday morning but anticipate this may change as weather improves!

We visited Cote in Haywards Heath as we were visiting the area. The food and service were excellent as usual. We ordered from the set menu and my only criticism was that the chocolate pot dessert was a tad small!

I am a coeliac and was well catered for - but I would have loved a gluten free crepe! My friend is a vegetarian and was supplied with a fish dish minus the bacon. We all enjoyed our meals very much and the staff were helpful and cheerful - despite us being the last people to leave the restaurant.

Lovely evening, good food and excellent service. Only criticism was that our steaks were over done, which is very unusual for this restaurant. The staff were so apologetic and did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Otherwise we couldn't fault at all and will definitely return.

The free glass of bucks fizz for my wifes birthday was nice. However, although not busy, the service was fairly slow, I received white nit brown toast but daren't change it as it would have taken an age and they forgot my eggs.

Great being able to book so easily online. With go to Cote quite regularly, and each time the food as been excellent, as has the service.😋

As usual the standard of food at Cote was excellent. The set menu of 3 courses for £12.95 is amazing value and there is a good choice. The menu also changes each month. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

The Fish Parmentier was delicious, staff attentive and very knowledgeable about food allergies. It is good value for money and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Two out of four of us enjoyed our meal. The set menu is good value but a la cartse isn't. The staff are always helpful and efficient.

My son and I really enjoyed the whole experience of dining at Cote! The menu gave us plenty of choice.I had the veal,while my son had the pork dish. We also had room after for having a dessert,my choice was the crepe and my son had the creme brûlée followed of course by coffee! The Reward of a free bottle of wine completed for us a perfect dining experience,and we would certainly come again.The staff too were so attentive,and really looked after us!

Food was ok. Waitress was very nice but do not like the 12.5% 'discretionary' service charge added to a bill for four, which we felt obliged to pay. It has put us off going to Cote again.

Good food and great service. The Haywards Heath Cote is always busy but the staff make great efforts to serve at the right pace and are friendly but polite. As I have coeliac disease I appreciate their gluten-free menu.

Food was average at best but the service was rubbish! 45 minute wait for main course to arrive after starters. Not impressed. Wouldn't recommend it.

Food excellent as to was the service and atmosphere. We ad a really nice time and will return again. Our waitress Audrey was very good.

The Cote restaurant concept is very successful and the Haywards Heath branch is one of the best I have eaten at.Friendly staff,good service and with the Prix fixed menu,outstanding value and good quality ingredients well cooked.

Greeted by friendly staff on arrival, guests happy with the good choices on meues, as was I and my husband. Food was excellent, and staff friendly.

Happy with our evening there. Very welcoming service. Tasty food and nice and hot. Comfortable surroundings. If I were to be fussy. I would say would have been perfect if portions were a little larger. I had the smoked haddock, very nice but would have been good if had a side dish with this. Green something or larger dish. Otherwise very good

Lunchtime visit today, 1pm and busy. Waiting staff and food were exemplary throughout. Starter of garlic prawns and main of pork belly superb. A wonderful lunch for us both. Particular compliments for Alice's attention and service, delightful as usual! This branch of Cotes never fails to impress!

A very pleasing evening experience with friendly and efficient staff on hand to offer advice to their customers. Food quality, as always, was excellent as was the service.

Warm friendly staff who went out of their way to make the evening memorable for us. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and an equally good menu selection. Would highly recommend it.

Impossible to talk in restaurant - tables are ridiculously small and too close to adjacent tables. So spent whole evening listening to other people's conversation. Coupled with cold food (sent back) and same menu as last time resulted in mediocre evening. Very disappointing.

Service was a little slow tonight, but this is excusable as the restaurant looked fairly full on arrival. The food though, was excellent regardless. Two perfectly cooked steaks, amongst other things were consumed, and the golden beetroot special was delicious.

Excellent breakfast delivered swiftly, freshly cooked and with a smile. Calm, convivial atmosphere with staff ready to help but never hovering. Always leave this restaurant happy!
