Côte Haywards Heath

We meet a friend who lives near Haywards Heath so it's always really nice to go for lunch, and Cote is our favourite restaurant there.

Lovely evening with friends not seen since pre COVID. Great atmosphere food and drinks to make this a special evening

Good to be back for a main meal, and to introduce some friends to Cote for the first time. They (and I) were very impressed with the welcome and with the menu choices. Cooking up to the usual Haywards Heath Cote standard. Breton chicken excellent as always - goes well with the Bearnaise sauce, so that's a good addition to the menu.

Good to have a new menu with different meals. Fixe prix £14.95 good value and wide choice.

Our last visit to Cote in Haywards Heath was in December last year so it was wonderful to be able to dine out again at our favourite restaurant this May.

Lovely food, nice choice of wine. Good service by cheerful friendly staff.

Simply wonderful, there might be less custom with covid but the experience hasn't changed and is as good as ever. Even with less people the atmosphere inside and the attentiveness of staff is just right. Really well done :)

We always enjoy our visits to Cote in Haywards Heath - the food is excellent and the service is always perfect. We are always made to feel really special, even our 7 year old, and this means that Cote is always our first choice for dinner out.

As we were seated outside we were an afterthought. Our server was very attentive when he came however thought management could have made More effort. Have often come for breakfast in the past but will be swerving for a while

Excellent. Food was amazing and even though the ribeye wasn’t available we had lovely sirloins which were cooked to perfection. Staff were really attentive and we had a lovely time! Well done Cote! X

We had your 3 course Christmas set menu and food was spot on... best calamari ever had... steak cooked to perfection then roulade was insane!

Lovely meal with an attentive waiter respecting the social distancing measures - a nice treat.

The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Social distancing was maintained but these exceptional times do stifle the atmosphere somewhat. We had the Champagne brunch offer and thought it was excellent value for money and would thoroughly recommend it. and would order again without hesitation.

Nice welcome when we entered. Good choice of tables. Very patient staff when we were too busy talking to look at menus. Excellent selection of food. We opted for brunch. Girls had champagne brunch. Poached egg and avocado with bacon was delicious!!! Nice champagne and gorgeous orange juice. Mussels looked fab and were thoroughly enjoyed. Steak and chips good too. Butterfly chicken breast was ‘tastiest meal I’ve had in ages’ (18 year old) Appreciated the option of having our coffees after brunch. Loved the free dessert for the birthday boy - very nice touch. Delicious food very reasonably priced with excellent service.

Crab mayonnaise had far too much onion in it. Baked haddock had accompanying potatoes not as per the menu. They were not lyonnaise but sautéed with orange flavouring. Some of the music was inappropriate for a French Bistro setting. Service etc was excellent along with the other 2 meals.

Fantastic evening with friends dining outside! Heaters working and blankets for laps !

Unfortunately there was nothing special about the meal, and at £47 per head, fairly disappointing

My sons dinner can out with Mash instead of chips and our burgers weren’t as good as before we prefer the brioche bun , the customer service is brilliant xxx
