We always receive a warm and sincere welcome at the Cote in Haywards Heath. All the staff are professional in manner and presentable in appearance. The food is always enjoyable and well presented and hot!

Fantastic night celebrating my dad's 70th birthday. Lovely table and great atmosphere.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about the food. My mum and I both have several food intolerances and for the first time in ages I ate without apprehension. on top of that the food was fresh and delicious. We will be back!

An otherwise enjoyable experience was spoiled because what should have been a medium filet steak arrived overcooked and dry. The restaurant staff did their best to recover the situation and the second steak was good, but my wife and I effectively ate separately. As expected, we were not asked to pay for the steak, but it is a shame the overall experience couldn’t have been rated higher.

The quality of food and presentation was really good and the service was so efficient that we felt a bit rushed , there were plenty of tables available so it could have been more relaxed

I had the smoked haddock croquettes, which I had had in Brighton recently and were delicious, but they were rather dry and not so nice. And I had the minute steak which I have had lots of times before, but it was really tough and chewy - could hardly cut through it. The staff could not have been more helpful and charming and reduced the bill accordingly. But I go to Cote quite often (mostly in Brighton) and it was unusual that I didn't enjoy the food, so I think this feed-back is important.

We had lunch with our family on 23/02/2020, on the way to Haywrds Heath from Hertfordshire my wife became unwell. It was her birthday lunch with our son and his family. She came into the restaurant so as not to disappoint. But did not stay and went and sat in the car. The staff and manager could not have been more helpful and went out of there way to make us feel at ease.

Great food and atmosphere as always. The waiting staff/team really make this restaurant a lovely place to dine!

I was very impressed with my dining experience yesterday at Haywards Heath. The food was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make me and my family feel very welcome. We had two birthdays in my family and the staff organised for deserts with candles, as well as joining in to sing Happy Birthday. I would definitely return.

My parents 49th wedding anniversary was celebrated with all their grandchildren at Cotes Haywards Heath. It was a particularly especial occasion as my father was out for a few hours from his care home -which he has spent months in for the first time and this was a vey big deal for him. The staff could not have been friendlier, helpful and efficient. A massive thank you from of all of us, You were excellent with the little ones too- of which there were many ! We already are regulars at Cotes and have never been disappointed.

We really had a lively experience at Cote Haywards Heath. The food was exceptional and the wines paired with it were great. The service was really good but understated. My husband was in a wheelchair but the staff coped with that very efficiently, a really great time.

Nice ambience. Plenty of staff. Two course meal. Fish cake were delicious. Risotto was ok. Having artichoke was unusual for a risotto so wanted to try it out for replicating at home. I would make the artichoke smaller if did at home as I found them too large for a risotto dish.

As usual excellent meals shared by six people on Valentines day plus very good friendly and efficient service - our favourite Restaurant in Haywards Heath. Always look forward to a return visit.

Food was great but the waiter was the defining factor. Made a good meal a great meal .. well done him.

Great staff! They forgot our veg with the main but had no problem saying sorry and making sure we were ok. Even though a mistake they really made it up! Look forward to coming back to our now local.

Really enjoyed our visit for our daughter's birthday. The food was good and the staff were so relaxed and friendly, much better than any of our previous visits to this restaurant. A big thank you to you all.

We arrived and it wasn’t too busy. It took nearly 20 minutes for someone come and take our drink order so by the time they did we were ready to order food. Drinks didn’t take too long but after an hour waiting for our food we had to ask where it was due to diners arriving 30 minutes after us already tucking into their breakfasts. Again we asked for our food and it eventually arrived. The manager was very apologetic and gave us complimentary drinks. When the bill arrived the manager Also explained that he had discounted the bill due to the wait. Despite the issues we had a very good breakfast and couldn’t ask for better customer service from the manager and his team.

We had our usual good experience at Cote Haywards Heath last week. From the greet to the au revoir we were well looked after.

Very impressed but missed opportunity. My second time at Cote as asked for a voucher for my birthday. I had £100 to spend, The staff were very welcoming , food was delicious and had a lovely evening. Knowing we had spent about £70 we believed we would return again soon with the remainder and use it towards another meal. When paying however we were told this could not be done. I ended up taking a very random and overpriced bottle of wine home instead to make up the money. What a missed opportunity and a slightly odd management decision in my opinion. C'mon guys you have a great restaurant generally and in any other shop including Tesco's you don't lose the money immediately. From being a guaranteed return customer i will have second thoughts now.
