Very enjoyable breakfast, helpful staff , much appreciated Bucks fizz for our 61st wedding anniversary

Generally very good but, once again we encountered a problem when some of our party order a steak. The non-steak orders are always fine, but the steak order is always cold, as though it has been cooked first and put to one side. In fairness, you always replace it and do not charge but it upsets the balance of the meal and leaves one person twiddling their thumbs while the rest of us are eating! It has got to the point where we will order either all steaks, or no steaks unless you can resolve this, for us, ongoing problem.

Service not as good as usual, and wasn't too busy in the restaurant either. The steak in the Steak Frites (weekend special), was a little grisly too, as compared to other times.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, fantastic service and excellent food! Always pleased with the food when we come here. We came to celebrate our anniversary and the staff didn’t fail to recognise this with a complementary glass of delicious sparkling rosé. Many thanks for another great coté experience

We ate from the lunch menu today which was very reasonable at £11.50 for 2 courses. Food was absolutely delicious and service as always exceptional! Booked ahead online for outside table as such a lovely warm sunny day.

Always good. My dads soup could have been hotter so we said so. So they kindly knocked a glass of wine costboff the bill. Nice staff in Haywards Heath. Oh and PROPER NAPKINS. ✅. Not a piece of paper. Excellent

Burger over cooked and dry. Service slow. Not well organised today. Average at best.

Food was fine but the service was poor. We waited ages for someone to come so we could pay our bill. Then we gave up and went to counter to pay, only to be told they had an issue with the till. Up to that point, no one had told us why we had been waiting and the place was not exactly busy.

We came for breakfast and were very surprised at the amazing breakfast deal that was on. Fab food and amazing service from the wonderful staff.

Enjoyed my Sunday breakfast immensely. My Eggs Benedict arrived but was cold so informed the waitress who immediately dealt with it and brought me a fresh one which was delicious. Very impressed with the service I got!

Consistently excellent staff and superb food, at good pricing for a high street brand. I was brave enough to stray from the beloved pork belly last night, risky business, and tried the lamb shank, which was superb. Whoever is in charge of your hiring and training has done a remarkable job, the team are ALWAYS courteous, engaging and helpful. Being British, so thinking of a negative, the only thing I could comment as not full points is the drinks list, which I think could have more specialist/craft beers and cider, as this range is quite minimal and semi-standard. That said, you are the best about for the standard and availability, keep it up!

We spent a very pleasant evening at Cote Haywards Heath,with friends from abroad. The food and service was up to the usual high standard and made a very good impression on our visitors.

Like other occasions at Cotes the food was excellent . Although the place was as busy as it could get on Father's Day, the staff were attentive, focussed and did a great job. Good value for money.

Food was nice and staff polite and friendly, had a long delay for food though and risotto was a bit over cooked. However would go again as overall good

Great service and food as always. Mother’s Day is always busy for restaurants however the staff didn’t show this and looked after us as well as always. Will be back again soon.

Such a shame. The meal we had for my wife’s 50th Birthday was ruined by a dish that was very poor. The lamb was just a bowl of mash with no meat and hardly any moisture. The sardines were also two tiny fillets around 4cm by 3cm Service seemed distracted. Although we had a glass of fizz on the house it was a disappointment from start to finish

Had a superb meal out with friends at Cote in Haywards Heath. Fantastic service and a really good menu. Food was well presented and very enjoyable. Great to see a totally separate GF menu and to hear that a vegan menu is on the way soon.

Up to your usual high standards - my guest and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening being well looked after by your excellent and attentive staff. One comment - the complimentary G&T on a previous visit was preferable to the Rhubarb cocktail!

The only disappointment was the Valentine’s Day only menu which wasn’t well advertised when making the booking. I probably wouldn’t have booked at côte if I had known the normal menu wouldn’t be available.

Best restaurant in Haywards Heath. Welcoming, good ambience, menu always varied choices & food excellently cooked , hot & delicious. Staff go the extra mile with their service. Priced to suit all pockets. Highly recommended.

My wife and I always have a great experience at Cote in Haywards Heath; great food, super selection of wines, perfect atmosphere and, not least, lovely staff who are attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Great food and service, excellent menu for vegetarians, would definitely visit again.

We had two courses each, ratatouille with goat’s cheese and mackerel and beetroot salad to start and Toulouse sausage and lentils and steak frites to follow. One of us is gluten-free and there was no problem with that. Both courses were very good, even if the sausage and steak were slightly overdone, and the service was cheerful and attentive. The Breton cider was very much enjoyed by one of us and the double espressos were excellent. A great lunch; many thanks.

We went here for a double birthday celebration. The staff were very attentive , couldn’t have done more for us. The food was really lovely, couldn’t fault it at all. Will definitely be going back soon .

Always a wonderful experience at Côte. Great service, great food, great interior design. No question this is the best restaurant in town. We totally recommend coming here.

Nice meal waitress was Leanne great job looked after our every needs.Steak was perfectly cooked medium rare,would recommend cotes at Haywards heath if someone asked where to eat out

This visit was very disappointing! Poor service...... Drinks did not arrive until I chased them TWICE. Waited too long to order and get food. Yes, we eventually got our drinks for no charge, but I would have rather paid and received good service. Sadly the restaurant was not busy, so maybe the poor service many not be unique to my visit. Dont think I will be returning for a long time. Sorry

Had a brilliant time,lovely atmosphere. All food was piping hot, just a shame that the pork belly was a bit overcooked and dry. Overall though an excellent experience. Thank you.

Like this place but service not the best Wife didn’t get her mash potato till she had finished her meal Pepper sauce watery compared to normal standard. Won’t put us off coming back but slightly under par this trip

Excellent service and good spring menu. Sadly due to Covid 19 we were the only diners on Thursday lunchtime.

Excellent service, great atmosphere & decor gorgeous. Food delicious with great value for money on the prestige set menu. Will be back again for sure, this is our third visit since moving into the area and it’s fast becoming our favourite dinner choice.

Had a wonderful, reasonably priced two course lunch. Full of flavour, lovely polite girls to serve us and we’d definitely come back again .

A lovely visit, with lovely staff especially the manager who was incredibly generous in comping one of our breakfasts following a very minor mistake with the order - we really didn’t expect it at all but it was highly appreciated!
