We all enjoyed the food although we did have quite a long wait .. we appreciate this was because it was very busy and we are all happy to return....

As always, fab food, lively relaxed atmosphere and professional friendly staff. Good value for money - what else could we ask for? We love it !!

Couldn't fault the service, staff were attentive and friendly, but was fairly underwhelmed by the food French onion soup was pretty small, and one of slightly disappointing in flavor, Rib eye steak ordered rare, but arrived medium rare and medium in the middle. Partner's risotto was bland. First experience of a Cote, and probably the last.

We had a really lovely meal. I enjoyed the seasonal haddock dish wrapped in smokey bacon with puy lentils and witk wilted spinach - yum! My friend was equally pleased with her pork belly, which looked tasty. Great service as always and a very delicious meal. Thank you!

Fabulous ladies lunch 3 generations celebrating 83rd birthday. Attention to detail and service 2nd to none including surprise birthday cake! Great job will definitely come again.

Good food at a good price - what more is there to say? I was catching up with a friend whom I hadn't seen in 25 years, so we stayed over 3 hours at lunchtime. No-one hurried us, and service stayed consistently friendly and prompt throughout the time we were there. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely service, we were the last ones in the restaurant by quite a while and were not rushed at all! Was really touched by the kind service - we had a voucher and the servers kindly gave us our tea and coffee free at the end as it took us over the voucher even though we were fully prepared to pay - such a nice touch!

Great friendly service. Delicious food, and a large range of food to choose from. Reasonably fast service and great atmosphere. They are also very good st catering for allergies. Definitely recommend.

Such a shame. The meal we had for my wife’s 50th Birthday was ruined by a dish that was very poor. The lamb was just a bowl of mash with no meat and hardly any moisture. The sardines were also two tiny fillets around 4cm by 3cm Service seemed distracted. Although we had a glass of fizz on the house it was a disappointment from start to finish

I’ve been coming to Cotes for years with my family. Again can fault anything, food is delicious and service is fantastic, they always go out of the way to make you feel comfortable.

Best restaurant in Haywards Heath. Welcoming, good ambience, menu always varied choices & food excellently cooked , hot & delicious. Staff go the extra mile with their service. Priced to suit all pockets. Highly recommended.

Tasty food served at good pace in a friendly atmosphere Portion size could have been more generous but that’s a personal preference. Good surroundings, attentive staff and prompt service.

Never had a bad meal in here and have visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner since it’s been open. Good food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Cote in Haywards Heath.

My wife and I always have a great experience at Cote in Haywards Heath; great food, super selection of wines, perfect atmosphere and, not least, lovely staff who are attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

We had two courses each, ratatouille with goat’s cheese and mackerel and beetroot salad to start and Toulouse sausage and lentils and steak frites to follow. One of us is gluten-free and there was no problem with that. Both courses were very good, even if the sausage and steak were slightly overdone, and the service was cheerful and attentive. The Breton cider was very much enjoyed by one of us and the double espressos were excellent. A great lunch; many thanks.

Burger over cooked and dry. Service slow. Not well organised today. Average at best.

Food was fine but the service was poor. We waited ages for someone to come so we could pay our bill. Then we gave up and went to counter to pay, only to be told they had an issue with the till. Up to that point, no one had told us why we had been waiting and the place was not exactly busy.

As usual the food was excellent and together with the good service we had from the friendly staff we can’t fault it , and will return very soon .

Consistently excellent staff and superb food, at good pricing for a high street brand. I was brave enough to stray from the beloved pork belly last night, risky business, and tried the lamb shank, which was superb. Whoever is in charge of your hiring and training has done a remarkable job, the team are ALWAYS courteous, engaging and helpful. Being British, so thinking of a negative, the only thing I could comment as not full points is the drinks list, which I think could have more specialist/craft beers and cider, as this range is quite minimal and semi-standard. That said, you are the best about for the standard and availability, keep it up!

As usual an excellent meal, whether your set menu or al la carer you excel. The staff at all Cote’s are so polite and make any meal a wonderful experience and especially your Haywards Heath restaurant we dine here 3/4 times a month. Well done Susan Salliso

Lovely dinner as always at Côte Haywards Heath. Dined from the March specials menu, loved the warm prawn salad starter. Excellent service, staff are so friendly!

We have had better meals previously at Cote. It was very noisy, even the waiter was complaining. Not as impressed as on previous visits.

Staff are always very welcoming, friendly and professional. Food and wine excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed. A great experience as is always the case with Cote HH.

Excellent breakfast this morning! All good, rather busy but service upto Cote’s excellent standard. First time we have been to Haywards Heath Restaurant but would be happy to book again if over that way. Thanks as usual!

The staff are excellent. Dealt with issues extremely well. The service is very good. The food I had was disappointing, too oily for me but my husband enjoyed his.

Disappointed we had to wait over half an hour for our starter. Restaurant was not full to capacity- one of the mains that arrived was like warm. We informed the staff and to their credit were very apologetic on behalf of the kitchen. They dealt with it with utmost professionalism so a credit to the establishment. I put it down to a glitch as I have not had any problems with other Côte Brasserie’s.

My steak was so chewy I could hardly eat it and three people in our party had burgers and they were all over cooked, dry and plain. Very disappointing.

Like other occasions at Cotes the food was excellent . Although the place was as busy as it could get on Father's Day, the staff were attentive, focussed and did a great job. Good value for money.

We love coming to Cote I Hayward’s Heath. It really was our first choice for our wedding anniversary celebration, but really, we come here all the time because we know it’s great. And the reasons it’s great is because of the people. Tosh who runs the ship along with Mark, Eden and tonight’s waiter Gabor. It’s like coming to meet lovely friends. We are well looked after - every time. Agonising choice of what to eat and the environment is relaxed and yet always busy. I can’t recommend this restaurant more highly. The best place to eat in Hayward’s Heath.

Superb food and outstanding service. Made a good evening into a really special one. Thank you to all staff. One suggestion I would like to add, however, is that a 12.5% "optional" gratuity was automatically added to the bill. I would prefer this to be my choice both to add, and the value I add. I felt 12.5% was above the national average and should not be pushed onto people.

My mother in law and partner came for mothers day breakfast yesterday! I ordered the French breakfast and my partner had the full English. It was the best black pudding I have had. Was so yummy. The breakfasts tasted great. However, the service could have been a bit quicker with drinks being served. On 2 occasions i needed to grab the attention of another waiter, which ended up being a error on our bill at the end. Of course this was all resolved. Will certainly be returning for breakfast again. Oh and delightful sparkling wine! Would love to know which one it was. Thanks for making my mothers day morning so enjoyable and off to a great start!

As always at Cote Brasserie restaurants, we were unanimous in agreeing the meal was first class. The service was also excellent, and it was great value for money.

As always good food and service, we always wish that noise levels at Haywards Heath could be reduced, maybe some sound absorbing panels in the ceiling?

As a repeat customer, the food is consistently good as is the service but we waited slightly longer than usual yesterday for service and for our food. Not long enough to warrant complaining but just an observation that the service is usually very fast but yesterday was average at best. As it was Sunday we just had another coffee and enjoyed the company. We will definitely be back another day.

Service was excellent. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. I had a complaint about my steak. This was dealt with speedily and professionally. My meal was replaced immediately.

We sat outside on a sunny Good Friday morning. The breakfast was wonderful, can’t fault anything and the service was efficient and cheerful ..... the toilets (I judge restaurant management on the loos) were immaculate.

Although the food was very good the service was terrible and we had to wait too long between each course and we gave up on the dessert.
