Côte Haywards Heath

Went for Father’s Day breakfast - lovely food and good coffee. Nice atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. Will be returning!

We all enjoyed the food although we did have quite a long wait .. we appreciate this was because it was very busy and we are all happy to return....

The quality of the food was amazing, we had the set menus moules, pork tenderloin and apple crumble. Everything we have come to expect from Côte restaurants, including helpful friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. I am already booking my table for next Wednesday!

We had a dreadful time. We were put on a table and forgotten about. Eventually after 20 minutes I complained and they took our order. They bought out 1/2 the drinks and then forgot the others. After 45 minutes I complained again about the drinks being missing. The manager then rudely said to me, Shall I put this food down first before I deal with that, he had a really bad attitude. When they bought the food out they were missing brioche. They forgot to bring butter. They messed up the second drinks order. They took a couple of items off the bill, I did not think that was enough. The Manager was very rude and unprofessional. There were plenty of staff on so there was no excuse. This was my Granddaughters first birthday celebration and it was ruined by the poor service. We will not be returning.

Usual good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Greeted as soon as we arrived and our free bottle of wine offered straight away. Service was efficient and an enjoyable evening was had. We are hoping to have Christmas day lunch and will book as soon as we can.

Couldn't fault the service, staff were attentive and friendly, but was fairly underwhelmed by the food French onion soup was pretty small, and one of slightly disappointing in flavor, Rib eye steak ordered rare, but arrived medium rare and medium in the middle. Partner's risotto was bland. First experience of a Cote, and probably the last.

Family get together. It was lovely food and service as always at the Haywards Heath restaurant. Look forward to our next visit which is hopefully soon.

Good service nice food especially on this holiday as many staff did not turn in. However the manager did a sterling job holding the fort

As usual the food was excellent and the staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgable especially with gluten free options as my husband is coeliac. I would definitely recommend

Nice meal waitress was Leanne great job looked after our every needs.Steak was perfectly cooked medium rare,would recommend cotes at Haywards heath if someone asked where to eat out

We have had better meals previously at Cote. It was very noisy, even the waiter was complaining. Not as impressed as on previous visits.

The staff are excellent. Dealt with issues extremely well. The service is very good. The food I had was disappointing, too oily for me but my husband enjoyed his.

Wonderful food great service. Our server Bobbi was fab. Attentive service great recommendations on the menu. First time in Cote not my last.

I’d just like to say thank you to the staff at Haywards Heath for remembering I’d requested a gluten free menu without having to be reminded. It was also my mother in law’s birthday and she was given a free drink which was a very nice touch and she really appreciated it. It’s attention to little details which make customers return. Apart from being seated near the bar which was a noisy area, we really enjoyed our lunch and my mother in law had a lovely day.

My mother in law and partner came for mothers day breakfast yesterday! I ordered the French breakfast and my partner had the full English. It was the best black pudding I have had. Was so yummy. The breakfasts tasted great. However, the service could have been a bit quicker with drinks being served. On 2 occasions i needed to grab the attention of another waiter, which ended up being a error on our bill at the end. Of course this was all resolved. Will certainly be returning for breakfast again. Oh and delightful sparkling wine! Would love to know which one it was. Thanks for making my mothers day morning so enjoyable and off to a great start!

Fantastic food , great service and a lovely atmosphere . The staff are very attentive and prompt. Some of us strayed from the menu , this was no problem at all . Lovely brunch .

As always at Cote Brasserie restaurants, we were unanimous in agreeing the meal was first class. The service was also excellent, and it was great value for money.

Superb meal, lovely ambience and quality service. We have dined in this restaurant before and been thoroughly delighted with the standard maintained which is excellent. Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Furthermore, we actively seek out a Cote because it is a byword for quality.

The restaurant was extremely busy as it was mothers day and the staff were doing a great job. The service was slower than normal but that was because of the high level of diners. My wife and i eat at Cotes fairly regularly and there are occasions when there are minor short falls but generally this is one of our Favorite eating houses

Great service and food as always. Mother’s Day is always busy for restaurants however the staff didn’t show this and looked after us as well as always. Will be back again soon.

Fantastic meal and brilliant service from our waiter Keith. You could see the manager working tirelessly to make sure all customers were given the same excellent service.

Tosh and the team doing what they all do best.........great wine amazing food and even better service. Nothing was to much trouble and we couldn’t of been made to feel more welcome if the team had tried! We will be back soon.

We went to Cote Haywards Heath for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We found that the food was excellent and the service impressively good. We will definitely go back.

Sadly we had to wait too long for our main courses. After I chased them up they arrived and we were given our desserts for free which was nice but I was a shame we had to wait as free desserts dont mean much to hungry children. I am also not convinced our chicken was cooked properly. But staff nice and friendly as always and rest of the food was good.

As usual the food and service were excellent, the staff are also very friendly and attentive and as our main course was slightly delayed we had a discount given on the bill even though we didn’t ask for it or expect it, excellent customer service.

Good food at a great price, excellent service and a good selection of wines.

I love the Restaurant but my salad was much smaller (ans less good things in it)as well as the bread and on thing I lived about cote was the consistency and I really hope it won't start saving on the wrong end.

We enjoyed our meal and thought the early evening set menu was good value. Pleasant surroundings.

Service was excellent. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. I had a complaint about my steak. This was dealt with speedily and professionally. My meal was replaced immediately.

We sat outside on a sunny Good Friday morning. The breakfast was wonderful, can’t fault anything and the service was efficient and cheerful ..... the toilets (I judge restaurant management on the loos) were immaculate.

2nd visit in a week (food was that good). Great service as always. Our waitress recommended a really great wine to go with the delicious pork belly. Prestige menu great value. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great service and great food. Would definitely go again. It did help that we started off with a complimentary gin cocktail! Couldn't fault the evening.

The decor was pleasant and there was a lively atmosphere. Plenty of choice on an extensive menu, good food and friendly service. Definitely worth a return visit.

Tosh and his team were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble... same as they have been for the last few years. We continue love coming to the restaurant! Well done on having a great team all working together to ensure their customers have a lovely time.

Although the food was very good the service was terrible and we had to wait too long between each course and we gave up on the dessert.

The busiest I have ever seen it. It was fathers day... Very noisy as fully packed restaurant, but also very hot too, which was a bit uncomfortable... Starter arrived very quickly however there was quite a wait for the main course, presumably because it was so busy...
