Côte Harrogate

We ate from the early evening menu and there was a good varied choice. The food was very tasty; smallish but adequate sized portions so with three courses you didn't feel over faced. Had to ask for the bill a couple of times but friendly helpful service.

Love the set menu! Fabulous food at very reasonable prices. Love the Parisian style decor and warm atmosphere. Staff in Harrogate are professional and polite.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Chose from the a la carte menu this time but fixed prix week day menu equally good and excellent value. We'll be back.

The service was very slow and the waitress was very off hand. We are not big drinkers but we had drunk a full bottle of wi e before our main course arrived. We left before desert or coffee as we felt we were not important to them. But the food was good.

Good food and nice surroundings; pleasant staff. It was a quiet afternoon but I noticed that the adjacent table didn't receive all that they ordered but it was quickly rectified.

A lovely evening. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Would definitely recommend Cote. The house wine was very palatable and good value. Just what was needed for our party of 8.

Excellent service, atmosphere really good. Wine at a very reasonable price and good quality The food could not be faulted and the menu covers every taste. No hesitation in recommending Harrogate Cote.

Creme caramel is delicious. Coat hooks could be more numerous. Service attentive and friendly. The kids enjoyed everything that they ordered. Could do without customer satisfaction questionnaire

The Early Bird menu is great value for money and the service was very good. Good atmosphere even early in the evening. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent food served in a nice restaurant at a reasonable price. Good choice of wines too. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff make it a place you'll want to go back to!

The place was very busy - woefully under staffed, but those on duty did a great job and stayed cool, albeit service was a little slower than we would expect. Great food!

I have become a regular customer to Cotes Brasserie in Harrogate, and tonight's meal did not disappoint! The food and service was perfect, thoroughly enjoyable!

Quick service, friendly attentive staff, nice and clean restaurant, the brunch menu was good value and very tasty too... What more can you ask for?

Food and waiters were wonderful. Only downside was the fuss the maitre d made when sorting out our free introductory bottle of wine - made me feel small, cheap and untrustworthy in front of our friends. demanded I leave the table to go to the desk with him - as if he didn't believe that I was entitled to this offer. He did sort it, eventually, but it left an embarrassing atmosphere, an husband angry at how I was treated, and was all totally unnecessary. I'm sorry I registered for this offer - it wasn't worth the discomfort.

Food was enjoyable.However service was inconcistent.Slow at times? Even thow it wasn't busy. We do not agree with the 12.5% optional sevice charge.Not that good.

Made to feel very welcome , gorgeous food , great service....... a lovely place to spend 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon! Will be returning .

The restaurant was fairly busy , and initially we thought we had been forgotten, once our order was taken we had little time to wait. I felt so sorry for the poor girl who's job it was to bring the food downstairs, as she seemed to be doing this single handed!! The overal experience felt a little rushed and not the relaxed experience we've had previously Be careful don't allow your standards to drop

Absolutely love this place. Food always perfect and staff very attentive. Good menu choices and lovely decor. Try the tuna salad or steak frites and add a basket of freshly baked baguette.

Our second experience of Cote Brasserie, the first being in Cheltenham and again it lived up to,our expectations despite it being a very busy Saturday evening. Food,service and overall experience good and excellent value for money.

Lovely gluten free meal - I am coeliac so this is important for me! It was extremely busy so the only tiny issue was that the service was a bit slow - otherwise it was wonderful.

Brilliant value. Great staff.... cheerful and friendly. Dressing on chicken salad could be toned down a bit... hit the back of your throat. Friends really happy with their steaks.

Good food and decent service. Good value French bistro. Kids menu a cut above the norm means clean plates every time. Pleasant ambience would recommend. Will be back.

My husband and I dine regularly at the Cote Brasserie Harrogate and we are never disappointed. It has a lovely atmosphere. The food is wonderful; we particularly enjoy the French onion soup and the tasty breton chicken. The service is excellent. Staff are attentive but not over bearing. Looking forward to our next visit.

Tasty relaxed French meal for two. Nicely paced service, good food and wine. Loved the boudin s noir to begin & the praline crepe to finish.

This restaurant is all that's bad about chains. Its expensive,poor quality of ingredients,uses frozen products . The calamari could have been rubber bands as there was no taste apart from old fat! they had been cooked in . Will never go to one again

Whilst it was a clean, well laid out restaurant, I did not particularly enjoy my food. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the food, i did not think it was particularly good either. The service was attentive

Lovely venue and we had the set price lunch menu, all very good, nice choice of food and very nicely presented. Overall very good value.

Lovely meal with attentive staff. Member of staff either misheard me or wrote down wrong my side order but when this was pointed out on delivery they soon rectified the issue and did not charge for my side order.

Great Atmosphere, good food, good staff and very good value. Fish soup recommended - best outside France. Steak Frites also very good as is the crème caramel.

Very friendly staff, a lively atmosphere and very good food. Good range of choice on menu. Have visited on several occasions and never been disappointed.

The food and service were great but the best thing was how they provided my wife with her gluten free food. There was a separate menu and when it came it had a flag which showed it was a gf meal. Simple but this makes a big difference to someone who really does need gf food (coeliac). Why can't everywhere do the same?

Early bird menu very good value for money, quality excellent but one of us had food from the a la cartel menu and the portion size did not match the price

Excellent food and very efficient service - almost too efficient without charm. Great atmosphere though and all of our party of six rated the food highly.

Poor customer service / table service. Forgot our order and then us. We had to keep trying to catch the eye of the waiter to get any service and to finally pay the bill.

Being a Friday night it was busy. But service was good- though a bit slower than at less busy times and essential to book. The French bistro style food was up to the usual high standard and a good choice from the early evening menu too. A bit quieter after 8.30 pm.

Food is always good and staff very attentive. We both ate from the fixed menu which is good value for money. On this occasion service was a bit slow.

Food great as usual but service was lacking on the night - may be insufficient staff. Was going to have a dessert and another glass of wine but there was no one around. Real shame as we do like Cote it's consistent and sharp generally.

All the staff were very attentive to our needs from going in to going out .also the food was very good.will certainly visit this restersunt again.

Starter & main meal very good. 3 of us had Profiteroles for sweet - they were poor. Service was very poor . Arrived on time for booking - table not ready - had to wait 15 minutes in doorway and the when got to our table , we were ignored for another 15 minutes until I asked one of the waiters to attend to our table - not good enough.

Food excellent - service a little slower than usual this time. That said we had a very enjoyable evening and can certainly recommend. Plenty of competition in Harrogate but keep booking Cote on a regular basis because of its consistency.

An amazing meal with good service. Nice atmosphere. The fillet steak was perfect - the menu is quite comprehensive so lots to choose from. It's great that you can book a table on line .

Portions are small and inadequate. I asked for medium steak and was served medium rare. The manager was somewhat patronising. Not worth the prices charged. Automatically add on a tip. Disappointed.

Excellent service, good atmosphere and a very nice bottle of wine as a result of signing up for the Rewards scheme. The meal was first class too.

Service very good the wine ordered did not disappoint on choice of dishes however on a critic basis the Beef Burg was poor in content.

Great early meal. Quick service and friendly staff. Also great value for money. We will definitely visit again If you like red wine they have an excellent Chinon.

Always good. Great inclusive price menu with French influence. Good choice of tables and staff very pleasant. Took a friend there yesterday for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
