Côte Harrogate

Simply excellent food, good wine, served by professional and friendly staff.

In anticipation of the lockdown taking place Côte in Harrogate was full, the restaurant had a buzz (very welcome) with very efficient service, friendly and attentive staff and despite the impending restrictions we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent and the whole experience was in object lesson of how to create a safe COVID secure environment which belies the need to close such restaurants. We look forward to returning to celebrate the relaxation of restrictions. We wish all the staff well with our thanks.

My guest was sat for 20 mins on a different table - service attentiveness poor - wrong meal brought to me but accepted because had already had a long wait and I was very hungry

Food was cold, drinks was late, for the money we paid the portion size was small, service seemed very rushed even though the restaurant was empty when we arrived. It was delicious food and good quality

We had a fabulous meal. Lovely ambiance and delicious food. The staff at the Harrogate restaurant are always welcoming, courteous and very professional. We would like to make mention and say a very big thank you. We visit the restaurant at least once a week and will continue to do so whilst we can.

Went to celebrate husband’s birthday. We both had steaks which were cooked to perfection, ie. as requested rare and rare medium. Perfect. Looking forward to my birthday in November!

Really good service and all attention paid to Health and Safety regarding Covid

We enjoyed an excellent meal here on Monday evening. From when we arrived to our leaving the staff were friendly, polite and helpful respecting the covid regulations. The food we ordered was delicious, rillettes for my husband and crottin de chèvre for myself followed by Breton chicken for the husband and mussels for myself. We managed to find room for a crepe with oranges and the chocolate fondant. As a French couple from Brittany we felt like we had taken a trip home!! The hubby very impressed with the meal, he’s a Chef here in England and we were on holiday here in Harrogate! Finally the wine we had chosen perfect for the meal! Thank you and a big thank you to the waitress who looked after us.

Nice friendly warm attentive staff, but would not expect anything different as was not particularly busy. Went as recommended due to compliance with COVID-19 regs, but apart from face masks, nothing else to support that confidence or recommendation, very disappointed with this aspect. Everything else fine and dessert sublime.

Absolutely perfect! Had 3 courses with my fiance, and each course tasted amazing! Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant had run out of several mains from the menu before 7.00pm including burgers and lamb rump. The special aperitif of the month was also unavailable but we were given an alternative and that was delicious. The food, however, was barely average.

We visited as we are in Harrogate for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Oh what a treat! We've visited Cote Brasserie before in other locations and once again, you didn't disappoint! The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and it was excellent value for money. Can I say a special thank you to our waiter James please? He was very attentive and made us feel very special and made our night out even more enjoyable.

Cote exceeded expectations tonight. We had been looking forward to Chateaubriand coming back and it was truly delicious. Another meal fabulous meal at côte! Covid rules very much applied and adhered to - excellent.

Good to come back to Cote. First time since lockdown. Food and service excellent and you can see that a lot of trouble and staff training has gone in to creating a “safe” & pleasant environment.

Another great meal at Cote Harrogate. Our waiter (Martyne?) was very efficient and was working really hard all evening! Our food was all delicious, piping hot, and arrived at the appropriate times. It was a quiet evening so not the best atmosphere, but in these covid times I felt very safe. Well done!

Great experience. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Will definitely return. The food was outstanding. I left my umbrella and they had already put it to one side for me before I even rang up. Fine dining at its best. Very Covid aware and tables sensibly distanced. Not like the Italian across the rod with people all gathered together. Fab place fab food fab lighting and atmosphere

The service started off well, the food was good but completely let down by the more than extremely poor service to get the card machine and pay. We had to ask several times and were totally ignored. To be honest I am very upset that we paid the gratuity as it was not earned.

I really can't find fault. Perfect every time. You may be a chain but it is akin to eating in an independent restaurant. Top rate food. Friendly staff that really care. But. PLEASE PUT THE DUCK BACK ON THE MENU.!!!. Good Breakfasts too. Than You. Christopher R Busby.

Another splendid dinner at Cote Harrogate last night. First time for Mrs B for the crotin starter - the salad was delicious. The prawn gratinee which Mr B had was very garlicky but also delicious. Then Moules Frites and a glass of rose - what a lovely combination. Finally I got a small taste chocolate fondant - next time no starter, but pud! # Covid 19 rules were followed to the letter - felt very safe.

This was our third visit to the restaurant and received the same warm welcome on each occasion. Elegant surroundings and ideal location for any type of celebration. Good selection of food and caters for most dietary requirements.

Service very good and friendly. Staff were well trained with the new hygiene measures and we felt very safe.

Always use this restaurant when in Harrogate. Food is delicious, staff friendly and efficient atmosphere good even in these times of pandemic.
