Côte Harrogate

Another good meal and dining experience. We took advantage of the early bird menu this time which was as good as the al a carte menu. Love the ambience, food and staff are always lovely.

Birthday meal with the family . Food fabulous staff very helpful and attentive. However the lighting which was already low was turned down at 8 o'clock to such an extent that we couldn't read the menus or properly see our food. We spent a lot of time using the lights on our mobiles.

We had an enjoyable evening. We could not fault the service, the food was very good and the restaurant was busy so a good atmosphere.

First time and won't be our last. Really enjoyed food and atmosphere. All four of us were impressed and were pleased how it did resemble a French brasserie.

Booked as a birthday treat and to use Kir royale voucher. Told not redeemable as ordering of the early bird menu this was not made clear by the email. Main courses did not arrive at the same Time had to chase to re order drinks and languastine cold in middle. Not good value would like a response please .

From beginning to end our visit to Cote Harrogate it was a lovely experience. We had a wheelchair user and every courtesy was offered to her

A super evening with good food and excellent service. The set menu has excellent choices for this month. We were spoilt for choice. We will see you again very soon

Initial service was slow but improved as the meal progressed Overall good value and great ambience Menu for breakfast looked great and will definitely try in the future

Once again we had a terrific French breakfast. Quality is so reliable. The breakfast package with juice and coffee is great value. We will be back very soon.

Delicious food, and a great choice of menu. The friendliness and service couldn't have been bettered. Great care was taken to ensure our steaks were just to our requirements. A super meal - we'll be back!

The food choices were good and what we actually had was excellent and terrific value for money at £12.95 for three courses. Each plate was beautifully presented and the food itself was delicious. The staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

Côte Harrogate is consistently good. Good food, good service. We had the assiette of charcuterie to share and then the rump of lamb, which was cooked to perfection. Really good.

Lovely evening for our party of six. Some of our food was a bit lacking in creativity but generally it was very good and service was friendly and efficient.

Service was exemplary and the food was really tasty. The atmosphere was cosy and we had a romantic time even though it was pretty busy

Very welcoming on arrival. Good choice of menu and food cooked well. Staff were very helpful. Possibly drinks were a little over priced but the two course Early Bird menu at £10.95 was very good value. Enjoyed the evening.

everything would have been fine but the stake we have ordered was more rare than medium and very chewy. apart that service was quick and friendly staff

Good experience, good food, excellent service, overall a very good meal. Monday evening, not over busy but atmosphere still good and vibrant. Worth a visit.

The service was poor - out of 4 of us only 2 starters arrived, the other 2 followed 10 minutes later. We were told just before we got our main course that they had run out of lentils with the haddock and would we like salad instead!! Overall poor food, poor service and would not visit again

It was OK. Clearly very busy. It took a while for someone to come & take our drinks & food order. Nice cold beer arrived with a hot glass.

Excellent. Friendly and welcoming. Great menu. Food perfect. Presented well. Can't fault the place. The service is first class. Good atmosphere. Our favourite restaurant and good choice of wines.

Mediocre service and food quite cold! Restaurant was quiet so no excuse for a bad experience. I would recommend to a friend but with caution.

Cotes is a fabulous chain, although the Harrogate one is disappointing. Staff took a long time to come and ask us if we would like a drink. Given it was a HOT Saturday we were in need of fluid!!. The food as always was excellent, chicken and walnut salad - huge!! My husband had the duck, MIL had the asparagus risotto, that she decide was far to large a helping to finish, but she did. The fougasse was delicious. If the staff could have got their act together it would have been a perfect lunch. Perhaps rather than standing outside with menus trying to entice customers in, concentrate on the ones in the restaurant. May visit again, when in Harrogate, personal preference is Cotes in York

We enjoyed a lovely fresh salad a kir royale and pudding sitting outside in the sun with great staff looking after us! We have already reserved a table for next Saturday

We always enjoy our visits to Cote Harrogate. The food is good , the service is friendly and professional and the ambiance is perfect--- not too noisy, but a nice 'buzz' .

Took the benefit of the offer of a kit royals for all six guests (which we had to remind them off when the bill came!). That was the only blip - otherwise food and service very good.

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere and very able staff made the evening most enjoyable. The choice of dishes on the menu always makes the final decision a hard one but everyone enjoyed the food and wine they selected.

Well organised service, and excellent food. The anniversary menu with champagne was good choice and value. Flexible in ordering from the many menus available. Good wine on a recommendation. What's nit to like about a late Saturday lunch session?

Good, friendly service and excellent food. All four meals were served hot and nicely presented. A personal preference of being seated at a round table and comfortable ambience. Would definitely go again!

Becoming a favourite. Service and food always good and well prepared and presented. Staff attentive and nothing is too much trouble. This is the third different Cote that we have visited and would highly recommend.

Another great meal , great atmosphere. Service was a little slow because it was so busy . Good value especially if you have the fixed menu . The Desserts are wonderful . Will be bavk

As we were going to the theatre we wanted to be in and out, and we were. Service as always very efficient, and the food delicious!!!

Service very slow. Food pleasant. Confusion by waitress on our order but profuse apologies. Would however go again as good value for money Worth a visit. The egg Benedict looked very nice!

Well set out interior, good customer service. The food was piping hot and delicious. We were there at 6.30pm and wanting to order from the early bird menu which is available before 7pm......I've knocked one mark off as the waiter who served us first said we couldn't order off the early bird menu and then asked us what time it was. When we said 6.40pm, he said I suppose you can then!! Apart from that, couldn't fault it.

As usual excellent meal and service. Service was very quick and professional. Very friendly service, not too pushy , however we did order more than planned. Great place for a meal

As always food and service excellent Sadly our experience was marred by a smoker sat outside but right next to the open door and the smell of smoke was coming into the restaurant throughout our meal

Meal very good, staff were very nice but slow and had to ask a few times for things we needed and didn't clear table before serving main meal

From our welcome from the manager to the excellent food and service from our charming waitress Rimante. My wife and I could not have asked for a more enjoyable evening meal in Harrogate, we hope to visit again soon. But we live in Northumberland - Newcastle would be a bit nearer !! David E

Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. A worthy addition to Harrogate's extensive list of good restaurants. The option to sit outside on a warm day adds to the benefits.

We all enjoyed our food very much - good to have several choices re seasonal produce (asparagus). Favourite pud - creme caramel - delicious as ever.

Another excellent meal at Cote. Pleasant and helpful staff. Have been several times since opening and have never been disappointed. Let's hope this continues to be so!!!

Convenient location. Food excellent . Service outstanding. We booked our table - ate our main course - went to the cinema - returned for dessert and coffee. Wonderful! (The film was good too - My Cousin Rachel!)

Great service, excellent food and good value for money. We ate from the early evening menu and the quality was very good. We will certainly return again.

Extensive menu choices. Almost too much choice. Great separate full gluten free menu. Food was outstanding. The service was ok. Could have done with some music in the background and they kept turning the lights down gradually which was annoying. You couldn't really see your food.

Excellent evening. I had pate starter followed by fillet steak and partner had belly pork . Followed by apple pie and ice cream all was super. Service was very good and we really enjoyed the evening. Côte is consistently good.
