Côte Harrogate

Delicious food , spoilt for choice menu , delightful friendly staff and enjoyable atmosphere. This is our eighth visit and we look forward with relish to the next .

Great food as always. Took some friends for the first time and they loved it. They plan on coming back as well the next time they are in town.

Sadly, not the best dining experience,it was evident from the start that there wasn't enough staff working Is it not preferable to have more staff working just in case you have walk ins, than hedging you bets, and having staff working being run off their feet, which cannot be good working conditions for them, and what about your diners These are the people who pay your wages!!! We had not been to Cote for some time because our previous visit was a disaster again due to insufficient staff, but our email offering us a complementary bottle of wine was the carrot to bring us back in, sadly we were the majority than the minority, I maybe exaggerating but but I'd say at least fifty percent of the diners yesterday were offered some sort of complimentary appeasement. It's such a shame because your concept is basically good but flawed by poor management

Fantastic food, setting and service at Harrogate on a Thursday night We were very confused by the children's menu. All they offer is a main course choice for children (which was really good) but no starter or desert specifically for children. We ended up trying to combine a childrens main into the normal set menu but it was very poorly organised and both we and the waiter were left confused with something that every family who dine there must have do work their way through. This must put off a lot of families from returning

Excellent quality and friendly and attentive staff. Great situation in the heart of brilliant Harrogate. I use Cotes restaurants all over the UK and find them all have such a high standard

The chicken my wife ordered was not the same as she has had before, so she was slightly disappointed otherwise it would have been a 6

Food and service were great, but we were disappointed that we could not choose from the Early Bird menu when using the kir royale offer (sent to me due to celebrating my birthday). The email I received about the offer did not stipulate this.

Excellent food and very good value. The 5 rating reflects the lack of table availability upon arrival despite having booked and the need to ask a couple of times for water. Both minor points but ones I feel should be commented upon.

Always consistent quality and service , the last two times we have lunched in Cote , Harrogate I have ordered the exaxt same meal , because it was so delicious !! The besr little apple tarts tatins I have ever tasted .

Wow, beautiful tasty cuisine. Great service, good atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. Great addition to the town and much better than the run of the mill chain restaurants. Will be returning soon!!

The food was very good especially the assorted charcuterie and the roast duck breast . The bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was good. The service was also good

Excellent food, good service, great value for money. We have been going regularly since it opened as it compares well with some of the best in Harrogate.

Excellent meal. Good food well prepared and well presented. Staff polite,very pleasant, helpful and efficient. When you do get the bill it's probably not the cheapest place around but the modest premium is worth it, We have visited several Cote restaurants throughout the UK and the consistent high standard is impressive. Highly recommended.

Food was very good for what it was, good value and service good. Look, it's a chain brasserie, so it will never be the finest restaurant in the world, but for a family lunch at £80 for four people, all having two courses and drinks, it was excellent.

The food was excellent, along with the service and the ambience of the restaurant. Cote restaurants have filled a long awaited niche in the market for good French food at reasonable prices.

good food and reasonably priced.They had electronic problem with order process but kept us informed of delay. Service overall was good but prefer 10% service charge -not 12.5%

Went for the early evening memu. Very acceptable and steak in steak frite better than most I have had in comparable restaurants. Will go again for this good deal.

A really enjoyable evening: ambience, service and food all great. Consistently good and will definitely be returning. Three course deal with glass of champagne represented decent value.

OK. Not up to previous visits Cote in Exeter. Tables by window close together. Chicken dry, not especially tasty. Will give it another try sometime.

Calamari starter wasn't hot. Seabream main arrived with no vegetables and we were not informed of this. Also asked if it could be filleted, but told no. Drinks not cold.

Very reasonably priced and good quality food, with friendly but efficient service. This restaurant is part of a chain, but better than many. It's certainly on our list of decent Harrogate restaurants.

Friday night, Harrogate, Early Bird meal. The quality of the food was excellent. I had steak frites and peach crumble. As a recipe developer, tester and blogger, I am critical of food as always believe I can make better at home. This was fresh, well prepared food with flavour. The staff in attendance were friendly and extremely well mannered. Only thing I was less keen on was the gratuity of 12.5%. That is a lot in my mind and although it is voluntary it is difficult to refuse when already on the bill.

Another really enjoyable meal at Côte Harrogate. I like the fact that you serve table water systematically but it would be good if you had French mineral water available like Badoit and similarly a selection of French aperitifs such as Pastis to make it a bit more of a French experience.

I really like Cote and go there on a regular basis. The service is excelllent and the food consistently good and prices give value for money. Great location too.

It's a lovely restaurant, the food was ok but it had clearly been sat for a while before it came to the table and service was incredibly slow which makes the experience slightly irritating.

Sadly we didn't have the best meal My steak although cooked perfectly was cold. The stand in manager from Birmingham identified our issue and could not have done more to recompense us Thank you

We always enjoy cotes we have been going since it's been opened staff always friendly and attentive we always enjoy the good food and will be back

The restaurant has a lovely comfortable setting. We were warmly welcomed and attended to straight away by the friendly staff. Our visit was for breakfast which we all enjoyed very much. The French breakfast, which comes with an interesting continental style black pudding, was particularly good. We will definitely return again.

Great service. Comfortable booths with super leather seats and the food was good. Good choice of prices and dishes to choose from. Wine very reasonably priced at lower end.

Been ignored by staff who had clearly seen us and service charge added on. Slow service and not a great quantity of food. Very disappointed tonight after always been highly satisfied

A super meal on a very soggy night in Harrogate. We had the anniversary menu which was delicious. Such good service too. We love Cote, so happy they are in the north now.

Excellent service with friendly but professional staff. lovely food. The restaurant is really nicely done out and doesn't feel like a chain at all. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed as we have been many times before & delighted with the service. This evening we took some friends for their first visit & the service was slow & the staff were not at all attentive. You need to maintain a good level of service if you expect customers to return as there are plenty of other restaurants in Harrogate to choose from.

The choice of menu was just right for our taste. The food was well cooked and the presentation was in good taste. All dishes were excellent and just sufficient with out making you feel bloated. The service was excellent without being too intrusive and the staff were quick to respond. A very enjoyable experience on an evening out as usual as we expected.

Very enjoyable atmosphere and interesting food served by good pleasant staff. A lot of competition in Harrogate but one of the most best because of varied menu. Like the reward system..

Lovely food but service was poor and this ruined our enjoyment. Tried to give us another tables lunch menu order first of all. When our a la carte order arrived they brought the wrong main meal for one person. Everyone else at the table had finished eating before their correct meal arrived. The manager only deducted the cost of one sweet from the bill even though it spoilt the occasion for us all. I suggest you eat from the set menu (as had the rest of the tables) to get better service.

Great food, nice atmosphere and excellent service. There is not a lot more to be said about a restaurant but I will add that we will be pleased to return

A busy restaurant with a lively, friendly atmosphere. We were made welcome, the staff were helpful. There was a good choice on the menu. The food was very good and efficiently served even though the restaurant was almost full. The bill was reasonable. All in all a very pleasant evening.

Excellent service cannot fault in any way. Had a wonderful meal to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, even got some free kir royales which made the evening even more special

We had an excellent evening - the staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was really good, the whole atmosphere was busy and buzzing.

Very friendly and helpful , food of a good standard with lots of flavours. Atmosphere relaxed and overall a very pleasant experience. I would recommend to anybody who was looking for a lunch or dinner.

We were made very welcome by the waiter. The food was very good. We were left to chat at the end of the meal without being hurried in any way whatsoever.

The food was amazing, the service was very good and the staff very friendly. My only complaint could be that the booths are only just big enough for 6 when all the crockery and food is on the table.

As normal Cote was first class providing good food for both for my self and my wife who must have Glutrn Free meal. Staff were welcoming and gave superb service
