Côte Harrogate

Slightly unhappy about the Christmas menu. I had it with friends the lunchtime before, and it was excellent, but at 6.30 next evening with other friends it was about £13 more each, and not particularly good; and we'd felt under some pressure to choose the Christmas menu. But it did come with a complimentary bottle of Cremant. The bill was wrong, and we were overcharged, but it was soon put right. However, we might well have paid it as it was if we hadn't checked. Not as good an experience at Cote as usual. We are regular customers there.

We always enjoy visiting Cote. Great food and staff and a relaxing atmosphere. The service is excellent as at the same time under-stated. Thank you

Great service, excellent meal. Well cooked, attentive service. Comfortable and great atmosphere. Staff brilliant and the place was clean and tidy. Costing was a pleasant surprise but I don't agree with the 121/2% surcharge when the staff don't receive anything! Separate tip left solely for the staff 😁

All good with good service. This is a smart restaurant with a varied and accessible French bistro style menu. Would recommend and will be going again.

Food was well prepared and tasty. There was a delay in bringing a drinks order but, once we reminded the staff, it came quite quickly.

The four of us had the excellent Christmas menu, which we very much enjoyed. But the service for the desserts was very slow. Very good Picpoul wine.

Once again a lovely meal at cote. They really do know how to keep up standards, vary the menu and send you tempting offers by email.

Bad service and sub-standard food. Moules were cracked so many were inedible and lemon tarte was frozen in the middle and not crisp; straight from the freezer.

The food was most enjoyable but our table was in such a position that one of us got knocked each time anyone went padt. Most annoying!

Have been going to Cote Harrogate since they opened. Always good service and quality food. Not been for a few months as we've been distracted with other stuff. No change in quality and service. Great to see.

Efficient, friendly and prompt service. Nice and warm on a cold night. Interesting menu without being overwhelming, and portion control just right. Good wine, too.

Went out for dinner on Saturday night. The staff were all lovely and the service really good too. The food was great and the atmosphere was good too. Overall we had a really enjoyable night!

A very busy Saturday night and our table of four was next to an extremely noisy table of 6,also under speaker pumping out music! .

Busy night with people milling in after fireworks activities but the staff kept their cool, were very attentive and the food was excellent as always.

Our meals were very good, but it was very disappointing that they could not offer us the advertised Beef Bourginion from the a la carte menu. Our free bottle of wine was tasty and the service was excellent however

We went to Cote Saturday 28th Oct and it was very disappointing this time round. My husband had fish which was overcooked and I had Cod Goujons which had hardly any fish but a lot of breadcrumbs. All in all would not rush to go back. The service was the best part of the evening!

We had our usual great meal at Cote in Harrogate - we always enjoy eating at Cote whichever branch. There is something for all our family. I would like, in this occasion, to commend the staff for coping with and coordinating a tricky order which mixed up starters and main courses with people eating different things at different times. We asked for some main courses to come with other people's starters and the kitchen and waiting staff responded with admirable calm and promptness. Our large family meal went so well and was so much more enjoyable as a result. Thank you very much.

Last week we visited the Brasserie and will return again this week. First class meal, served by first class staff exceeded expectations on all fronts.

Just excellent . Great service and choice of food. Attention to detail with ever dish and great to see a completely gluten free menu which my wife loved.

Service a little slow at beginning and end, took a long time to get attention to ask for the bill, but good food as always. Extensive gluten free menu and plenty of choice for everyone.

Food was good service good but the restaurant was empty by 10pm on a Saturday evening? which put an end to what could have been a very good evening

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere and good food. Waiter was friendly and attentive but food was served too fast (strange complaint maybe) but for a special birthday meal out we didn't really want to be finished with 3 courses in just over an hour. This isn't a fast food restaurant and time should be given between courses to enjoy the experience.

Great food and service. I'm gluten free and they have a fab menu and not just the odd thing on the main menu that I can eat.

we are always pleased with the standard of food and service which is why we come back so regularly ! the apple tart tatin in particular is perfection !

Unfortunately our order was overlooked and when discovered rushed through but we were 50 minutes from order to table. However the manager dealt with the issue brilliantly and we will go back---- as the food was excellent and the restaurant delightful.He was an object lesson in providing good customer service.

Our First visit to this branch although a frequent customer at other Cote Brasserie. We came for the early Menu and the Service was very good, the menu and food excellent and very tasty. We find the portion size just right and overall very good value for money. Hope this winning formula can be maintained as we find Cotes very consistent, we like the changing monthly menu too. Well done looking forward to yo next visit to Harrogate.

We had lunch here but my friend’s egg was cold so it was sent back, then the 2nd egg came which was cold, runny and raw too. Very disappointing and I believe her meal should have been deducted from our bill. Apart from the health aspect, as the egg was raw. Not good enough. This had to be the worst meal at a Cote Restaurant I have ever had.

Nice food in nice surroundings.Service not as attentive or as good quality as on previous visits which was dissapointing.Still worth a visit as this may not be normal.

We had to send one part of our main course back because the egg was cold. When a replacement egg came back it was also cold and this time raw too. It is not a cheap place and I believe the meal should have been discounted due to this Service was a bit lacking too. It’s not my first visit here so all in all disappointing

We had a guest who can only eat gluten free and for a change she was able to have a wide range of choices. Really enjoyed the Belly pork. Portions just about right,overall nice experience for our first time,will definitely visit again

This was our first visit to Cote and so because it was birthday treat I was slightly apprehensive. I needn't have been! The atmosphere was buzzy, the food spectacular and the service impeccable. Couldn't fault it! A great evening......

This was my first visit to Cote Brasserie. Very good food and attentive service. My medium rump of lamb was perfectly cooked. The October special beetroot salad was delicious. I will definitely go back.

Seemed short staffed and some staff came across as rude but food was excellent. I will most definitely be going back to the restaurant but would like to feel more welcome as a customer.

Delightful as always. Cote always provides us with an excellent well-cooked meal at a reasonable price. Certainly, as part of a chain, this is without doubt our favourite! As it was early in the evening, the atmosphere wasn't brilliant but that didn't really matter as we wanted a quiet night. Normally it's bustling.

Fabulous food, amazing service in a very elegant environment! Would highly recommend it and will most definitely be going back very soon..... that's if I can get after all the people I have told since hahaha!!

We were most disappointed with our visit today which was to celebrate my birthday. Our seat was in a corner which presumably was the reason the service was so poor. We had to wait a long time to order and even longer to receive the desert menu. We were then told there was no coffee available as the machine had broken down as had the card machine. Overall we did not enjoy our experience and felt we had been ignored.
