Good food but prefer cote In york. Better ambience. Toilets too far away. Waiter forgot my special reward and had to be reminded ! Good value.

Good food, good service, lovely atmosphere. Went lunchtime Saturday 3rd February, my son had steak tartare for starter and said it was the nicest he had eaten

This restaurant has amazing food lots of choice like to of variations, also the gluten free menu is as extensive as the normal menu. I went celebrating my birthday there was a complimentary glass of prosecco for our table. The waiter and all other staff were so professional, the restaurant was very comfortable, the food was Amazing, I would definitely go back again and again, top class service .

The problem with cote is the lack of welcome when you arrive, the size and closeness of the tables and surly waiters. With regards yo the food Cote scores well above the Harrogate average. Larger tables and more space required

Excellent meal. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Quite a large restaurant, difficult to gauge the atmosphere due to attending early afternoon. Have visited your York restaurant previously .

We well looked after . We had sent a list of my intolerances when we booked a table . When we arrived and were shown to a table the staff were clearly aware of the intolerances and could not have taken more trouble than they did to ensure that things were right - taking my order and then going to check with the chef and offering an alternative where necessary .

We always enjoy eating at Côte harrogate a warm and friendly atmosphere . The food always good and hot the staff very friendly . One of the best chain restaurants .

My husband and I had lunch at Cote Brassiere today. We got a very warm welcome from the manager and the waiter was very friendly too. We had The calamari and both of us thought it was the best we've ever had. My husband had the duck confit for a main and I had the steak frites , both were excellent. I would recommend any one to try a meal here.

Very good meal in warm friendly surroundings. Staff are helpful and unpretentious. We come here or the one in West Bridgeford in Nottingham when we meet our daughter. It's always the same service with no nasty surprises!

We had booked online the day before and we were expected,so a good start. My wife had duck breast and I had lamb rump(from the monthly specials menu); both were excellent. We had about a 20/25 minute wait apparently due to the lamb--but it was worth waiting for. Service was polite and efficient. The Harrogate restaurant has a good ambience to it in our view which helps the all round experience of eating out. We will be back.

Very good service- just the right amount of time between courses- not rushed, not kept waiting too long. Noise level a bit of a trial.

We had a lovely Côte breakfast couldn’t fault the food, eggs Just right poached me and scrambled her, bacon superb and sausage nice and herby, service nice and low key. Would I recommend it yes I definitely would - Enjoy

Great relaxed dining, food was superb from first to last course and the waitress was attentive without being instrusive. I've never had a bad meal in any Cote restaurant.

Had a great brunch, I had the vegetarian breakfast and a tasty latte, it was really good service, would go back and would recommend it.

We visited Harrogate Cote restaurant, on the 20th January 2018. On entering, Jez was very welcoming and seated us to our seats, explained the specials and the main menu. We both ordered French onion soup - mine was cold, so it went back, it came back and was cold gain, also it had been put back in the microwave, so the pot was hot, but not the soup, it really should of been a new one the 2nd time, however, Jez came back and sorted it for us (a new one) and was very professional - he did take if of the bill, although I was happy to pay for it. The main meals, puddings and wine were perfect! great tasting food. Our overall experience was very good! The service from our waitress, well she was no where to be seen and did not look after us. Our credit goes to Jez, as he looked after us al the way through. We would visit again as food was excellent! Thank you

We love coat Harrogate it’s one of the few places where you can eat real food freshly cooked for you Harrogate is awash with pasta and burger type restaurants à la cart is good value three course set lunch is a bargain go on give it a try

Busy Friday night but still excellent service enjoyed beautiful rib-eye steaks and a free bottle of wine from an email offer. As usual great ambience....

Fabulous champagne, food, wine, and atmosphere from a friendly team. I had the lamb and on my recommendation so did the next table who also enjoyed this dish.

Our service was slow, we felt it was not as good as usual. The waitress got things wrong and so we had to send food back. My beans were not cooked, they were raw. It was extremely cold where we sat due to an outside door & staff going out for cigarette breaks. I am not sure I will return. Disappointing.

Steak ordered medium rare, came well done. I had finished my meal by the time the new steak was remade. We then charged for the sauce on the new steak - the waiter had accidently charged through 3 peppercorn sauces.There was a tiny pot of sauce included and so we did ask for more sauce but the first was over the steak that we sent back and so we should have been charged only for 1, but paid for 3. We realised only after the bill was paid and it took so much time to resolve it, and as we got up to leave we were offered a glass of kir royale to compensate- it should have just been put back on the card. The manager gave us a glass of wine on the house during the meal to apologise for the steak. There was a 12.5% gratuity added to the bill.... we paid it as the staff were friendly and you kind feel if it's already been added to the bill, it's not really discretionary. Iv been to cote many times before but not sure we will go back again in a hurry.

We received a warm welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was easy and well presented. This is a good place to eat at a reasonable price.

Once again a most pleasant time had at Cote Harrogate. A lovely welcome, attentive service from charming staff. Food just delicious, and jolly nice wine. We shall return soon.

Great service, great food and great atmosphere. We had a group of 6 and the although the restaurant was full the service was outstanding and food qulaity was to the normal high standard

A nice welcome and good service. The food was very good too - what a shame about the price! £65 for two of us when one had mineral water and the other had a bottle of beer! And adding 12.5% service charge is well out of order!

As always the ambience and attention were first rate. The food, while good, was slightly disappointing in that both mains (beef bourgignon and duck respectively) were slightly overcooked. The beef was a tad dry and the duck was not pink enough - or at all. Still both pleasant but could have been better.

Always fantastic. Delicious and consistent food, staff and management are excellent. We often visit Cote for an early dinner, lunch and sometimes breakfast. We cannot fault the menu and quality of the food. Any small issues are always swiftly resolved.

Great atmosphere with attentive friendly staff.The food was excellentand we had a free bottle of wine worth £20 which went well with the meal. I would recommend this restaurant.

A great addition to the Harrogate scene, Cote has quickly become one of our favourites. The food is excellent and the service usually good. The practice of adding 12 and a half % to the bill automatically is not usual in this part of the world and some people might object to it. I believe it should be pointed out verbally when the order is being taken as those who are not regulars might easily add an additional tip to the total - a nice boost to profits no doubt but probably not good for the image of Cote in the longer term.

went for New Years eve and had the £29.95 set menu.The whole meal was excellent and great value for money. The only downside was that the restaurant was very busy and although we had booked for 9pm our table was not ready when we arrived and had to stand in the doorway.Perhaps Harrogate needs a place for customers to sit whilst waiting.

Exdellent food, matched by the service. Pleasant ambience making for a very relaxing evening. Not the cheapest place to eat in town, but one of the best, and very good value

Pleasant atmosphere with good food and helpful service. Steak and frites just right. Sufficient choice for the vegatarians amongst us. Tasty desserts. We would certainly be happy to go back.

Most enjoyable evening at Côte Harrogate. Great service bearing in mind this was New Years Eve. We ate between 7.00pm & 9/00pm. Our waiter (unfortunately name not known & it doesn't appear on receipt) could not have been more helpful. He was friendly, with a ready smile. One or two minor issues were attended to promptly & without fuss. The food was great. We had the NYE menu which provided a recommended glass of wine with each choice of starter, mains or sweet. A thoroughly enjoyable experience which we won't hesitate to repeat in future years, given the opportunity.

We dined on New Years Eve which was very busy but the staff were efficient and very friendly. Food and wine were excellent and the atmosphere was lively but not too noisy.

Couldn’t fault - great, officiecent service, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Would go again and always enjoy dining at Cote whatever city I’m in, however Harrogate has been my favourite yet for service.

Excellent service and food as always. Good choice from several menus. Children made welcome. We think that the two and three course lunchtime menus are great value.

Never disappointed when we go to Cote. The service was excellent - attentive but not intrusive and the food was delicious. When it came to pudding, there were at least 4 different desserts I struggled to choose from! However, the chocolate/praline crepe didn’t disappoint!

Relaxed and festive. We had good service despite it being a very busy Christmas Eve! Food was lovely and all our family enjoyed the dinner. We’ll be back.

Excellent service. The food was delicious also, and we appreciated the small touches like the Christmas crackers on the table, which actually included very good presents!

Christmas lunch menu excellent. I had French onion soup followed by rib-eye steak, my wife had Goats cheese starter followed by fish. Good value. Friendly relaxed service.

When we arrived it seemed to take us a whileuntil we were asked if we would like a drink but once we ordered food the service was good. In one of theLadies Loos there was no toilet paper

Lovely atmosphere and melt in the mouth food.The menu choice was very good and everyone in our party had an enjoyable lunch.Will most certainly make a return visit.
