Coates is one of our fav places food always good and staff very atentive Atmosphere good we go there as a couple and also take friends

Love this place. Had to dash to the theatre and the staff were so accommodating and suggested the quickest meals so we were in and out in 30 mins. Perfect!

Food good and staff very obliging. Overall a good experience but there was a long wait for main courses which meant that some of us (who hadn't had a starter) were starving. I would definitely go back again.

The service was excellent but my main course salad was not up to their usual standard. We also found the restaurant extremely noisy, which (while we know the staff can do little about) didn’t help conversation!

Great night at one of our family favourites. At the request of my son who was celebrating his 12th birthday we booked a table and as ever the staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. I had put a comment on the booking about it being my son's birthday so they kindly put a candle on his pudding and wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on his plate with a strawberry and few raspberries for dipping in. Yum! Great early bird menu's with plenty of choice and seasonal produce. Delicious! Thanks for a great evening

Very pleasant meal. Quite busy but staff very pleasant and always on on the ball. Peach Bellini was a lovely apero! We will return very soon

Excellent full English breakfast with Tea and Orange Juice for under £10. Good atmosphere and service. We will certainly be visiting again in the near future.

As I have reviewed before, the food is fine but the restaurant lacks atmosphere and buzz and this may well be due to the lack of pictures on the wall, lack of flowers etc. It's a 'formula' sort of place and does pretty well as this.

As a regular Cote diner in the south, this was our first visit to Cote in Harrogate. Everything about it was first class, the dishes were perfectly cooked, served on hot plates and the service from our delightful waitress, Palomma, was both efficient and charming. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous food as usual and another great night out. Very much enjoyed the seasonal peach bellini (could easily have drunk a few more actually) The portion sizes are always generous and vegetables delicious. I really like the french beans served slightly al dente but not so much that you feel like you have to chew through rocks! Good selection of seasonal produce as well as old favourites.

Lunch for two' Cote delivers what it claims. Service good' food and wine good. Always a pleasant dinning experience for lunch with family or friends.

Poor slow service not helped by low quality food, the suck was rare rather than pink and the fennel with the fish was still hard, underooked. Left an hour and 45 minutes for a full 3 course and coffee we gave up after the second course on 1 hour 35. Use this chain all the time this is without doubt the worse experience, and the attitude of the evening manager mirrored this.

Always good food and excellent value for money. We usually have brunch and have never been disappointed. The staff are professional and friendly. I also like the fact that they give you a carafe of water when you arrive.

Very good for a non independent restaurant. The service and food are of a high standard all bit it a little overpriced.

Love the atmosphere and decor here. Service very friendly but isn’t the quickest. However if you are against the clock they will recommend quick meals. Soup de Poisson is lovely and the minute steak always tasty.

A very French experience, from the Noilly Prat aperitif, through the Muscadet sur lie, to the sole meunière - enjoyed it all, and service as ever was very good.

Fantastic friendly, polite and professional service, wonderful food, great value and lots of choice ( without being overwhelming) atmosphere in the restaurant ( even midweek) was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to returning

Food was delicious and the staff were exceptional couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely return to this restaurant and I would recommend it to others.

We have always enjoyed dining at Cote. The food is always excellent and the service prompt and friendly. And I have found this to be true at all the Cotes I have visited countrywide.

An excellent pre cinema meal. The food was delicious but the outstanding feature was the waiter Stephen. He was so helpful and guided us with regard to our choice of wine . He even provided us with a small glass of two addifional wines to compare.He made our meal truly memorable.

A perfect Saturday morning breakfast! Good food ( crispy bacon! ) fantastic coffee and the papers. I was set up for the day. Thank you Matthew and the team. .

It was a most enjoyable evening . Staff were excellent and looked after us well. We did not pay service charge as we don’t like being told how much to tip but staff were fine about this and understood our reasoning. We left a good tip anyway though as food was great. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic meal this evening. The food and service were first rate! A great and varied menu, will definitely be coming again soon.

Generally very good with four empty plates at the end of the meal. Friendly unobtrusive service so all in all a nice lunch. Only criticism is the plain walls with no pictures - rather dull to look at.

Cote Brasserie has welcoming, friendly staff. The food and wine are both really good. We enjoy being able to chat without loud background noise found in other restaurants. Overall a greta experience.

Took my son there for breakfast. The service and food was excellent and very good value for money. Will certainly visit again in the near future.

Excellent service & fabulous food as always. Staff were friendly and helpful, endeavouring to accommodate everyone’s wishes. One member of our party didn’t want a particular sauce specified with her dish and the waitress assured her the item could be prepared without. A waiter suggested instead of the expensive bottled water requested by one guest, we partook in their own filtered water; a no cost option tasting equally pleasant. A meal at Cote always feels like a bomafide French bistro dining experience

Great service. Pleasant food in 'French' style ( not authentically French, but a decent change from the offerings of a well-known pizza joint opposite! ). Consistently good.

We have now been to Cote twice for their superb breakfast. A good gluten free offering and great value cooked breakfast deal. Service was polished and attentive. We’ll be back again for sure.

Beautiful meal and good wine, could not fault the whole visit, took my daughter sister and niece and it was pre meal before seeing the sequel to Mama Mia 2..brilliant evening.

All good once again at the Cote Brasserie and will be coming again.

Great service, food was delicious although the moules had a touch too much chilli for my liking! The restaurant has seats outside for hot days

We had another great evening at Cote. The restaurant was very busy,almost full but as always we had excellent service and there was no delay in our food arriving.Well done Cote Harrogate!

Thoroughly enjoyable evening. A warm welcome to the restaurant. The menu was varied and the food was excellent. The service was rather slow. Will, however, return again.

Had a very enjoyable meal. The creme caramels are the best i have tasted. We have been to two Cote restaurants in London recently and they remain consistently good.

Dinner on August 1. The service and food were just as good as the last occasion. The weather was warm and the windows open I would have preferred the windows closed and the air condition on.

Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Service was good and attentive without being over the top. Very good value with a voucher for free bottle of wine. Food was excellent.

The food and the service are always excellent. On this occasion the Vichyssoise was one of the best food experiences I have ever had! Excellent stuff!

Cote is always good for quality of food, service and ambience. First-timers might not notice that the gratuity is added to the bill automatically - an unusual practice in this area and therefore might put off some visitors from coming again.

We had a lovely time and the service was great. It would be nice to get a few veg with the steak included as standard. Thank you.
