Excellent breakfast great value for money, staff always very pleasant

Hi. We are regular visitors to Cote at York and now Harrogate having recently moved here. The experience last night was mixed. White wine was warm and the food took a very long time to arrive - not good when we were there for a birthday meal. However the staff did provide a sparkler in a desert we ordered which was nice but no more than any other restaurant would do. In addition we were not given the aperitif of the month but nearby tables were. Maybe we had to ask but never have ib the past. Overall ok but standards are slipping.

We had a wonderful evening. Great food and service from our waiter.

As on previous visits (this was our third within the past month) good food, good service and o really good value for money. We shall be returning to one in Harrogate next month..

Another excellent meal - this time brunch for Father's Day. Lovely menu, plenty of choice and cooked very nicely. The formule option is a very good idea and brilliant price point. I didn't ask and should have checked so this may be my error - but didn't see an option for child portion of breakfasts as 2 of my younger children found the portions too much. We love Cote and visit regularly and will be back again soon

As good as always we usually go in the evening but lunch was just as good.

Great service and lovely food as always. My friend and I were chatting and the staff were very attentive but not intrusive. When we asked for desert but had a time limit as going to the Cinema is was brought in double quick time. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Tomatoes Breton is back and as good as before! Mrs B also had the baked haddock and reported that it was also delicious.

Jaded after the Christmas and New Year celebrations we went to Cote just after New Year's day. Food was fantastic and the service was prompt and efficient. Always good

We went to Cote on a Saturday evening for a family dinner for 5. Service was excellent and efficient (as it always is) and the food was up to its usual high standards. All the classic French dishes are here done very will, Soupe a L'ognion, Steak Tartare, Moules, Steak Frites. What's not to like!

New Years Eve menu was really lovely. Good food and the staff/service were excellent

Late Sunday lunch at Cote is always a pleasure. Had the free Martini and the superb swordfish. Raspberry creme brulee special was also fantastic!

Really good evening with friends. We declined the complementary gin and tonic so we could eat from the prestige menu. One of us had the special Monkfish off the a la carte which was reported a being superb!

Consistently good . The food and service are consistently good one of a chain. On this occasion the background music was not running and the other customers were well behaved.

I enjoyed my meal but noticed the selection of desserts is always the same each time I come to Cote, it would be nice to have some hot desserts especially in the winter.
