Côte Harrogate

Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming upon entry. The early door meals were a fantastic value and tasted amazing. We felt very welcome and would urge anyone to go. I cant wait to visit again.

Went here for lunch on Thursday. There were a few other diners and the atmosphere was quite. The staff were attentive and our orders were delivered promptly. The food was very good and we chose from the new Prestige Menue. Although this menue is very good, I am not sure they need another menue between the Set Menue and the A la carte. We have experienced many Cote restraints and this cane up to the usual high standards.

We deliberately picked a quiet time of day for a family meal on Easter Sunday. Nevertheless service was very good as was the food. Very happy overall - in fact we've never had a bad experience at Cote.

I would have given a 6 but for the fact that we had to chase the waiter/waitress twice for our bottle of complimentary wine and a second bottle of beer for one of our guests. The food was delicious and apart from those two glitches the service was good.

My lunch guest asked if it was possible to select a starter from the gourmet menu and a main course from the lunch menu but both the server and manager refused. On the a la carte menu there was only 25p difference between the two starters. We ended up doing a mix and match but it meant that I was not able to have the main course of my choice. While I appreciate you do not want everyone picking and choosing a little more flexibility would have left a better impression. You could have asked us to pay a supplement which we would have done.

Food was great but the service fell away as the evening progressed. Not cheap especially the drinks which were priced on the high side. 11 ponds for a glass of wine. But I would certainly go back.

Excellent and efficient service. The staff were courteous and served us with humour. The food was well cooked and well presented. We have never had a bad experience at Cote.

Nice staff Food good. Unfortunately my chicken was undercooked My 4 friends all got nice food. Mine was taken away and properly cooked chicken was brought for me. Also my glass of wine was free! Good PR.

We really enjoyed our meal at Cote in Harrogate. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the food was tasty and the staff were friendly and attentive.

A great night out with girl friends, had a lovely champagne cocktail to start the evening with, followed by lovely wine. Food and atmosphere was great.

The service was excellent and the food was well priced. There was a really good choice of my wines. We had a really good evening.

Once again a great meal and excellent, attentive but not over fussy service. The second time we have eaten at the Harrogate restaurant in 2 weeks. We were so impressed with the food and service on our first visit which was on a very busy Friday evening that we went for Sunday lunch today.

Busy night for the restaurant but we were well looked after. Food distinctive and wine good. Will go back again. Keep up the good work.

Great night, staff attentive but not in your face, celebrating a friends birthday and they put a candle in her pudding and all came to sing happy birthday, pricing ok on mains though the starters and sides are a bit expensive.

Great food, atmosphere & service. 12.5% gratuity added to the bill is excessive, as a matter of principle, ​we asked them to remove it and left our own discretionary tip.

Went for early doors menu . Very good choice of food and good value for money. Nice surroundings. Very efficient and friendly staff. Would return and got a complimentary voucher for a free bottle of wine at next visit.

Excellent lunch, 3 course, with calm quiet atmosphere allowing easy conversation. Menu choice was well balanced, and reasonably priced wine choice. Coffee flavour strong and tasty.

Cote Harrogate has friendly and helpful staff, especially the Manager. The food was really good last night - tasty and well cooked. Desserts are divine!

Fairly regular visitors at York,Trinity Leeds and Harrogate ,often selecting similar meals so have a comparison of quality and our last main course on 11th march at Harrogate was a significant disappointment as pointed out to the Head Waiter as if the chef had gone for a break leaving another to produce an over cooked piece of chicken and poor quality accompaniments! Not awful but not up to customary standard

A lovely atmosphere for Mothers Day brunch - great food and great staff as always with super service. We were a party of 4 ranging from 20-90 years old and everyone thoroughly enjoy it.

Nice welcome, waiting staff attentive, food was good. However, downside was that the kitchen seemed to forget our main courses which we had to wait some time for. Similarly, the deserts took some time to come so we can only presume the kitchen was short staffed.

Excellent service even though the restaurant was very busy at the start of our visit. The staff were attentive and the food was up to expectations.

Excellent service and food as always even when they were absolutely jam packed with unexpected covers. The staff are extremely attentive and deal with issues quickly and without fuss.

We had a lovely lunch at Cote. The food was delicious and service outstanding. Even though the restaurant was full, and the staff was rushed off their feet, they still took time to check that everything was to your satisfaction, and went out of their way to accommodate special requests. Would nightly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere and great staff made my mums day. We have been regular customers since the restaurant opened in Harrogate and both the service and food has been consistently good.

The food was absolutely delicious, with good sparkling wine. It was Mother’s Day so it was busy! Staff very friendly, however, the service was very slow we were seated for an hour before we received our bread with no side plates available and this was before the fire alarm went off, which was the explanation for our main meals being delayed,but this was understandable... we will return, as we love the food and the ambience of the restaurant.

As always, Cōte Harrogate is one of the best. Lunch was delicious and extremely good value for three courses. AND they know how to make a macchiato properly!

Good service, wide choice of dishes on the menu, food was good but possibly needs a little more seasoning. Staff all friendly and the ambience in the room was good. Overall a nice evening and would visit again.

Friendly service and tasty food at the right prices - what’s not to like as they say? They change the menu on a regular basis which is very important in my view.

Another great evening dinner last night at Cote Brasserie Harrogate. Service was good and the meal spot on. Can recommend for couples and larger parties.

As usual our visit was a good experience. The food was first class and the service impeccable. Looking forward to our next visit in the not too distant future.

Food was very good, very good value for money with excellent service. Well done Côte. Will definitely be back. And bonus was that we got a voucher for a free bottle of wine for the next visit.

Overall very nice - main course could have been hotter. Very pleasant and attentive staff and the restaurant is in a very nice part of Harrogate town centre

Another great "french breakfast" at Cote Harrogate. We keep coming back to Cote for the excellent food and service. Get on their mailing list for free bottles of wine (not with breakfast!)

Nice atmosphere on Friday night, and as usual good service and reasonable food. At least with Cote you know what you are going to get. Breakfast on Saturday morning very good value.

Lovely food and surroundings. Varied menu. Service friendly but pretty slow even though quiet. Not been so slow on other occasions. Would be 5* on another evening probably.

Been to this restaurant probably over 30 times now and never had a bad meal yet! We mostly go for the early bird when it is just myself and my husband and with friends later in the evening.

As always the staff were courteous and efficient, the food delicious and the ambiance agreeable. Our only criticism is the rather subdued lighting making the menu rather difficult to read.

Both my starter’s came cold and they still put them on the bill at the end..other then that nice meal..and I don’t agree to a service charge on your bill.

This is a good evening choice, with excellent decor and good service. Food is regularly of a good standard with the February special chicken particularly tasty.

Great value Early Doors with 2 courses for £10.95. Service was very attentive and the food excellent.... only one small moan..... coffee was only warm.

I just love everything about Cote Brasserie. I have visited the Cheltenham one on numerous occaisions and the Harrogate one just twice and on each visit the food has been amazing and the staff are so helpful and polite. Highly recommended,

Super meal - again! The special Monkfish was superb and the raspberry creme brulee was lovely.

Very friendly and efficient service and the food - lamb shanks, risotto, burger and monk fish - were all tasty. Wine of the month was great value too. Good lunch!

We had a rather poor experience, which was surprising as until recently standards were good at Côte. However they have endeavoured to put things right and so we will return and hopefully will be posting a better review next time.

Gorgeous food as always. Friendly staff. Only reason not top scores today 1) the cold draft from the door 2) they forgot a drink and it was very quiet

4 for food and drink but beware 25% service charge applied. Will stop me going back again! Fundamentally disagree with this practice, especially when the reason give is it helps them attract better staff! Try paying them more! Don’t ‘con’ your customers by publishing menu prices - and then whacking 25% on top to cover staff costs!
