Another lovely visit to Côte Harpenden. Always well looked after and the foot up to scratch as advert.

As always, we had a splendid meal, served by friendly, efficient staff. And at a very competitive price The manager - Danny - can be proud of his restaurant and his staff !

The food was great, lots of choice including gluten free ...... My salmon was perfect and unusual salad with a really special dressing. £3.50 is alot for a small bowl of potato though! Wine lovely and quick, friendly service.......

It was a lovely meal as always at Cote, particularly with your January special offer on the set menu. As a coeliac I am never disappointed by the wide range of gluten-free choices. I was pleased to note the acoustics at the Harpenden restaurant had greatly improved since my last visit. We had no problems enjoying a good chat and were never hurried by the staff. I do have one request however. It would be nice to see a bigger range of soft drinks on the menu, for instance elderflower in my case. Whereas in the evening or at weekends I will happily share a bottle of good wine, the middle of the day often requires something less soporific. Many thanks again for an excellent lunch.

The food was exceptional and good value for money. Would have been 5 stars but I never got the olives I ordered.

How you maintain your food pricing is unbelievable and the quality Top class. Would have been 6 stars but for the last 45 mins the staff weren’t as on the ball and we asked 3 times for dessert menu. Will be back soon though Gilli 👍

This was a birthday lunch for my husband, and we both thoughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent, as was the food and the restaurant has a lovely ambience. We will definitely recommend this venue and will return ourselves in the future.

We normally go to the St Albans cote but it was being refurbished. However, the Harpenden cote was just as good and we would be happy to go there again.

I really enjoy my visits to your brasserie and find I am able to have a very nice meal which does not overwhelme me to look at. The atmosphere is always good and it is nice that the napkins are always so beutiful, crisp and white. Far superior than the inadequate paper ones.

Amazing food and the service was second to none, I could not recommend more! They said happy anniversary more than I said myself to my own girlfriend!

The prawns were fantastic the steak was very good. the chicken half of the chicken was fine and the other half was dry and hard I sent it back I got a new one and again the thick bit was fine the thin dry and hard, Sauce was watery. Then had an apple tart that was hard couldn’t cut it hardly any Apple

Went for brunch and had a lovely veggie breakfast which was great! The person I was with requested gluten free and she was given a different menu to order from very impressed. Only downside was the waitress didn’t clear the table had to ask and also when we asked for the bill she didn’t bring it and had to wait around for a long time. Still a lovely place though

The team at Harpenden Côte could not have looked after us better. We were a large adult birthday party with small children also in the group and they went out of their way to make it a special occasion for everyone.

The food was good as usual but in terms of service it just wasn’t good enough. Consistently neglectful. No hospitality. Food took ages to come. No communication and it wasn’t busy. We were there for a birthday and we won’t be coming back. Loved Cote for years and it’s sad that it’s not being loved by its people anymore

One plate of food out of five was acceptable steak unedible duck was probably left over from another serving it was overcooked and turned tough moules mariner were dry very poor overall

Friendly staff, clean and tidy restaurant and good value for money.

We were a group whose number changed twice in the run up to the meal. We also asked to be served the Christmas menu on Boxing Day, even though it had finished officially on the 24th. Finally we asked for late changes to some menu choices when we arrived at the restaurant. Lilyana and her team could not have been more helpful through all of this. The service during the meal was excellent and always done with a smile. We couldn't have asked for any more. Thanks to everyone involved.
