Côte Harpenden

The restaurant was smoothly run - it was a Saturday lunchtime. Our waiter was totally on the ball, and other staff were equally as welcoming, efficient and attentive. The food was great too.

Excellent service & a broad based menu for a fussey crew who all enjoyed the experience. Interesting wine option rather than Prosecco - soarkling Sav Blanc.

Overall, the food and service were really good. However, when I ask for the bill, it means I'm finished and want to pay and go. I don't appreciate being kept waiting for it and then having to wait again to pay.

Good service to start but forgot to produce side dishes st the same times as the main course and yet again service charges are automatically added @ 12 percent plus so no discretion

I took my grandson to Côte as he is coming up to his 21st birthday. We arrived at 7.30 and although very busy our table was ready and service was excellent. The main menu is superb and we both enjoyed the slow cooked pork belly. Great food and really good service.

Restaurant too noisy. Perhaps carpeting and curtains would reduce the noise"! The young lad who served us was very efficient, polite and knew how to relate to customers.

Atmosphere great, service great and the food was even better if that is possible. Our guests enjoyed the experience as much as we did: first class.

We have decided that this is now one if our favourite restaurants: the food is simply delicious, beautifully prepared and well served. The restaurant is always quite busy during our meals which makes for a wonderful atmosphere as well. We always have excellent service which makes the 12.5% service charge well worth it.

We didn’t like the first choice of wine, the waitress was happy for us to try some different wines before we settled on a bottle, lovely food and good service.

It wasn’t very busy as we went early which was good as you can’t normally get a table. Apart from the staff omitting a steak knife the food was great, staff fairly attentive and really friendly with good recommendations. We can’t wait to go again the other half said his steak was one of the best he’d had in a long time. I had the chicken which was delicious.

Meal was lovely. Service was a bit slow as only 3 staff on duty and it got busy later in the evening. No problems with attitude - just a long wait.

The food was an excellent standard with a wide choice of menu options. The only thing which detracted from our experience was the appalling slow service. There were very few customers in the restaurant on a Friday lunch time and so it was hard to reconcile this with the poor service provided.

The Breton Soup was excellent 12% Service charge is added to the bill here! As with booking fees for concerts I don't agree with this!

Had one problem with my steak: ordered well done but got rare. My husband had to eat his food whilst I waited for mine to be recooked. Normally I would have made more of a fuss about this but we redeemed an offer of a free gin and tonic at this restaurant and got two free instead. Fabulous. The food was and is always wonderful here.

The service was very good. The food was average. We had a three course meal from menu plus a bottle of wine and 1 Gin and Tonic each, If the food had of been better I would not have minded paying £60 per head but I thought it was not good value for money.

Very good experience. Relaxed, good service and very tasty food and good choice. Fifth time I have been and it only seems to get better.

Excellent service food was very good big improvement putting acoustic tiles on ceiling to cut the noise down Nice restaurant to visit. Was wife's birthday and we had free drink and happy birthday written in chocolate on dessert plate. Nice touch

Lovely food and very good waiting staff was perfect contributions to our lunch. Restaurant was very clean - loos too! Never disappointed at any Cote Restaurant. Standards are very high!

Lovely restaurant and great food. Slight muddle over our order and our starters were slow to arrive but all was resolved quickly by a very helpful waiter. Highly recommend.

My second visit to Cote and I was just as pleased with my meal as I was the first time I was there. My daughter and I had a lovely relaxing time, with good food and very pleasant staff. The food was of excellent quality and well cooked. First class!

Cote manages to meet consistent standards, no matter which location you go to. The fixed menu is very good value for money. Service was also excellent.

It is always a pleasurable experience to dine at Cote Brasserie, Harpenden. We go there mainly for breakfast which is superb. Each time the staff are extremely efficient, accommodating and very friendly.

Polite, accommodating and fantastic with my 9 year old son. They did not rush us and no request was too much. My father said it was the best meal out he's had in a very long time. Thank you!

Great food and service for my son's 18th celebration. The fillet steak was perfect - we love Cote and will be coming back for sure.
