Côte Hampstead

Table wasn't ready when we arrived. I asked for a special table as it was my fathers birthday and was put right in a tight spot next to the entrance door. The table was dirty and unprepared. We asked to move to a table upstairs which was much better but table wasn't cleaned or prepared for when we moved there. Starters came but no one came to take our main meal order. Had to keep asking for someone to come over. Once main course eventually came all 3 fillet steaks were cold. It was a real disappointment as I have been to many Cote restaurants around London and was hoping for a great experience; especially as it was our dads birthday. Would not come back.

The food and service were just as they were on all our previous visits, and just as they would be in a smart restaurant in France — formidable, magnifique!

Food was good, and although I appreciate that it was a busy period, service was not quite up to standard. After ages waiting for our order to be taken I ordered the Tuna steak only to be told 5 mins later that they had run out of Tuna. I understand this happens but if i had been told this when given the menu I would have found it acceptable. The way it was done is not acceptable

Service was more casual than I like but mostly friendly. I had a veal chop which was thin and fatty. The side order of creamed spinach I had was quite different from how this place used to prepare it. It now barely fills the dish it's served in and is relatively dry. Imagine dry creamed spinach! The only item I would have again was the creme caramel, which, like the creme brulee, is superb here. Get your act together, please, Cote. There are so few decent places to eat in Hamptead, despite its affluent and well-travelled residents.

very good and friendly. fresh food well presented. close to French food if you consider it is not a typical French restaurant. a nice evening.

Good food pleasant ambience but the service is rather slow! We have been going to this restaurant for many years & it has never let us down in the quality of the food.

Great breakfast Excellent service. We visit vote Hampstead regularly. Staff attentive friendly and seem to really care about you. We will visit again next time in Hampstead

Not good! Service really slow, order wrong, one of the starters had to be sent back and then not taken off the bill!! I regularly go to your Highgate branch where everything is better.

Quality, Consistency, Value - this is why we all go to Cote. Seasonal special of Terrine was particularly delicious, the accompanying Chinon very pleasant. Another highly satisfactory meal!

Good fast attentive service. Food up to expectations. Only problem with restaurant is parking. You need to time your arrival to coincide with the lifting of parking restrictions

Very well looked after from start to finish,The lady front of house was excellent as it was very busy but nothing was too much trouble,Food was served quickly and more importantly Hot,enjoyed the experience.

The restaurant provided good service and attentive staff throughout the whole dinner. The menu was very good and a wide range of food and wine was provided by the chain.

Great food, good services...good value for money.. was too loud and noisy .. maybe because it was Friday night... and packed...but would go again! Parking easy as well..

Good menu and good service. Recommend the chicken and Provençal sauce. Puddings need a. It more thought. Get a table by the window and it is less noisy.

The menu is great especially at lunchtime. it offers great value for money when compared to the other venues in Hampstead. the speed of service and the top quality staff make it even better.

Even though there were ten of us the service was excellent (all served simultaneously and no wrong orders) and the food was of a very high standard.

Very nice cosy restaurant, great attentive staff. Never been disappointed. Good selection of food, including gluten free. Would highly recommend. Less busy during the week.

Slow service . Poor Service . Restaurant was a tad untidy . Staff in no hurry to tidy the place up. Place look a tad tired.

They had run out of lots of 5 items on the a la carte menu , otherwise everything was fine and the staff were very friendly.

Eaten at this particular Cote Brasserie many times now and always excellent with great service, food and a nice atmosphere. Only minor downside eating here is that it is sometimes so difficult to park in Hamstead but that's not the restaurants fault, so that aside highly recommended.

Okay, but compared to other Cote branches I've been to the the same dishes were done as well and waiter could have been a little more with it though he did say it was his first day.

I would like to see some more vegetarian meals and fish without meat added. I was very cold in the restaurant and had to keep asking them to turn off the air conditioning

Meal was delicious and cooked perfectly to order. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall it was very good value and made for a great night out.

8 of us went for brunch, appalling appalling service, we ordered various breakfast items and nothing arrived together, took 4 attempts to get toast that had been ordered 30 minutes earlier and the waitor didn't have the sense not to put hot food and drinks in front of a 10 month old baby in a high chair, won't be going back!

You always get good value for money and delicious food whichever cote Brasserie you go to. I would certainly recommend it. Nice wine as well

My friends and I booked Cote Brasserie for a birthday celebration. We had a lovely dinner, the food was fantastic, tasty and generous portions. The service was excellent, very helpful and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again.

We were welcomed and treated brilliantly. I had the birthday treat bonus of mir Royale for all my guests, which was great fun. The food and wine were good and the service marvellous.

Great service. Great food. The server was fantastic, but disappeared at the end- the new server was equally nice. Wonderful food and great desserts. Definately recommend

Had an enjoyable early evening meal on Easter Saturday.Service was prompt and efficient and the food wholesome and appetising.This restaurant seems to be quite popular with local residents.

Good and affordable food. Friendly staff! I will be back for sure. The breakfast is my favourite. Specially the eggs royalle! For a light meal I reccommend the tuna salad.

We've eaten at the Hampstead Cote quite a few times. The meals were fresh in content and the service was attentive without being intrusive - another enjoyable visit!

Both my friend and I enjoyed our meal very much. Cote is a regular venue for us and the meal was good value. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant.

Good local restaurant. A reliable chain where the food is consistently good. Prices are reasonable and a good variety of small and larger dishes. Good astmosphere.

Been several times previously over the past years Good service for breakfast with an excellent range. Try the formule for great value includes toast fruit juice and hot drink.

Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant, especially given the complimentary starters and wine, which we received as part of Cote Rewards. The service was efficient despite the place being very busy at lunch time and all staff were nice and looked after us very well. We will definitely be back!

It is a good restaurant which i go to about once a week, reliable food, with a changing monthly menu as well as a longer fixed menu. This gives variety. The service is always good and friendly and the staff try to accommodate dietary requirements. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Another great meal at Cote. This is a restaurant chain where one can feel be sure of receiving consistently good value delicious food. Tonight was no exception. Charming waitress too!

Cote is a restaurant I enjoy visiting overall although there is room for improvement both in food and Service. It's usually a very busy place and they seem to be understaffed as the waiters seem to be always under pressure and in my opinion mostly under trained. Food is well presented and tasty although I thought it a little mean that my Duck Confit didn't arrive with any green vegetable. Despite this I'll be back

Love the food and the wine choices! I prefer upstairs as it's a bit quieter...I am in the area appox once a month and always make a point of going there...

Excellent meal as usual. We had the special 10 year anniversary meal tonight for a treat. Only thing, was the wait between first & second courses was unusually long - about 30 mins - this isn't usual.
