What you expect from cote brasserie. A good Monday night value. Decent atmosphere on a cold cold winter night. Professional staff so good service. Pleasing value for money choice

Was lovely food service very good only disappointing that our request to sit upstairs was not honerd but staff apologetic but would have been good to have been notified in advance

We went to the early bird last week. Incredible value if you dine before 7pm. There is always a wide choice to suit most tastes for each course. Very good service.

Excellent meal and service by Alice and Agnes. Agnes deserves to be promoted she works so hard, and is so delightful to the customers. We so enjoy going to the restuaurant.

The worst Cote I’ve eaten in. Undercooked chicken, vegetarian crepe swimming in sauce and no one front of house for ages on arrival. Shame as every other Cote has been great!

Always consistently good food at reasonable prices served by friendly efficient staff . Cote is an excellent chain and a great place to eat at any time of day

I’m reducing my score this time: mainly because of the menu, but also because the staffing was rather chaotic. The menu really needs updating. There is not one single vegan starter or main course. I suspect no vegan deserts either (these are on a separate menu and we didn’t want deserts this time, but last time I looked there was a very heavy emphasis on dairy). Really Côte: there are so many vegans in London now, and even more of us reducing our meat and dairy consumption. Is this sensible? Especially in Veganuary, when many restaurants have special menus. And on this visit the staffing levels were totally inadequate. We had to wait to be greeted and to give our order. Then our bill came before we’d asked for it (this happened to the next table too). The staff were clearly rushed off their feet, with the runners (an incredibly dated labour division) actually having to serve. Thankfully the food was fine.

The food was good, the server was polite. The wait, with dirty first course plates on the table was very long indeed as was the extremely long wait for the main course. The waiter/waitresses do not look at any tables or help their colleagues in any way at all. No eye contact possible between diners and staff and they don't seem to care about the customers. We were helped at the end by managerial staff.

I think the food was absolutely wonderful and such good value . Service was excellent as well . very good atmosphere as well . it was buzzing

Food was good. Had to call for service even though not all that busy. Still however a good evening overall. Could also have made it a bit Christmassy.

We enjoyed an early Christmas meal at Hampstead. We had excellent service and good food and the atmosphere was very friendly and we look forward to our next visit there.

Terrific value especially for the pre 19.00 menu. Friendly and efficient service. Am a frequent diner at Cote Hampstead. I will continue to dine there.

Food and service excellent with good portion sizes. Group of 5 were not hurried and found menu great value for money. Vegan choices good too.

Lovely food , recommended it to my Dutch cousins (who treated me) It was agreed I couldn't have made a better choice. I had recently been to St Martins Lane branch with ex work colleagues (we have all retired long since) where the 2 french women said the steak couldn't have been better in France . Thank you

Very good. The food service and good worth 5. The only problem I had was on arrival I asked if we could have a booth table and was told they were reserved. It became apparent aste evening wore on this was not so The evening have been perfect if not for this

Great meal great value for money and very helpful and attentive staff will definitely be back can’t recommend this highly enough definitely worth a visit if your in the area

When we visit Cote Brassiere restaurant we leave happy and contented. If you asked us the question would we go again then answer would be yes.

Took my parents here for lunch, we all enjoyed it, great menu very nicely prepared food, Two courses for £16 was good value, the venue was bright and clean, staff were friendly. Overall great restaurants will definately visit again.

All first class as usual good food friendly service,even reasonable prices, We always look for Côtes and look forward to our next visit very soon

Such a nice cheerful and smiley waitress it made all the difference. Unfortunately the pork dish on the specials menu wasn’t available but at our request the waitress asked and we got an a la carte pork dish substituted for the specials price, so all good.

Hampstead Cote's as usual was extremely efficient. Our orders were take as soon as we were ready and all courses were served without undue delay. As we had ordered from the Prestige menu, the portions were a little on the small side, but still delicious . Service was polite and friendly

The service was terrible. We had to wait 20 minutes to be served and even then the waiting staff were very rude. The food was average. We will not be returning.

Cote Brasserie in Hampstead is always reliable. Our meal was very pleasant (tuna nicoise, fish parmentier and cod goujons) and the Sauvignon Blanc palatable. Service could have been marginally more professional but we enjoyed everything we ate and drank.

Cramped on a Sunday long wait even with a reservation, they know it’s this busy every Sunday why not more staff?!!?!! Very long waits for food. Food good but not worth the hassle including park which is a nightmare Sunday lunch times in Hampstead.

We dined at Cote Hampstead, and we chose from the Prestige menu. Having booked with the Quandoo deal we received a complimentary bottle of wine. The service was efficient and friendly. We chose the chicken and salmon. They were both excellent as was the Sauvignon blanc. The value was great.

Last minute booking - steak frites was excellent, tarte fine aux pommes also very tasty. Fish stew not stellar, but doable. Service speedy and super friendly!

As ever all enjoyed our evening all A1 One of Party had an e mail saying Cider was avfreebe to those who booked on line. Had difficulty to establish if we were eligible

Friendly attentive service and good ambience. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but we didn't have to wait too long to be seated Food was delicious. Good sized portions and varied. Especially enjoyed the chocolate fondant

Having been seated upstairs last time and had slow service, we sat downstairs this time and were pleased to find the service friendly and prompt. Food was good too: just what we needed. A little more light on the table would have been nice.

The food was delicious as always but the service was ridiculously slow. We asked for kids’ food to come as soon as possible but it arrived with our mains after we finished eating starters. Kids had to be comforted with bread and butter. There were many other glitches. The staff was pleasant and polite but the delays in getting things required multiple requests, and it was all rather frustrating

Do not like where were seated. New manager rude! Regular customers every Sunday morning. But if new manager stays we go! Food was good and waiter ok.

Always reliable. Always good. A standby in our neighborhood. And they always seem to be able to accomodate at the last minute. We recommend it.

Very tasty food. Service was good although getting billed took almost half an hour. I had the pork belly - very good and crispy although a bit more sauce would have made it perfect.

We were seated upstairs, and found the restaurant noisier and the service slower than usual. We found this last time we were upstairs too. No coincidence? It wasn’t disastrous though by any means, and we were happy with the food.

We enjoyed the evening, food was good, I particularly liked the dessert, menu was good value. staffs were courteous & attentive, ambience pleasant, venue is convenient to get to. Highly recommended.

This meal was great the leek vinaigrette is a great addition with an egg runny and smooth, steak Frite .... well who can go wrong with a steak frites! Well done, see you again

Really enjoyed our meal the restaurant was very busy but still the quality of food was amazing. The hot salads are my favourite especially the goats cheese one.

Another enjoyable evening. Crispy kalmari followed by a perfect steak. Great way to end the week. Hearty and reliable food and well priced wine. And no washing up to do afterwards. Thank you.
