We had a very nice evening, we will definitely be returning!

Welcome was friendly and we were shown to our table quickly. We were served with lovely food- the beans were a little over cooked but everything else perfect

We are regular customers. The service this time was, as usual, fast, friendly and efficient. The two fixed price menus are excellent value and offer a good range of plates.

When we arrived we were asked if we would like a table by the window which was nice. We choose from the Prestigious set menu which was very nice, I choose salmon which was very nicely cooked, only thing I would say it would be nice if they had more choice of soft drinks. The restaurant was quite the staff attentive. , soft drinks.

Good food and reasonable choice from "premier " set lunch menu. Eaten there with friends quite a few times, and never disappointed.

A family party for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We were very well looked after. The staff were attentive and really appreciated what a special day it was for us.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cote Hampstead after visiting Kenwood House.

Upstairs was very hot but downstairs was pleasant in temperature. The staff were very helpful but perhaps a tad slow in service.

Food was good, only problem it was crowded and noisy, tables are very close to eac other.

We had the most wonderful afternoon at our local Cote. As always food, service and just general ambiance lovely - really smashing. I would recommend to anyone. Of course it does help if you’re enjoying this, such enjoyable restaurant with someone you love to spoil.

I went to Hampstead on Saturday with a voucher as I had a very bad experience at this branch on Mothers Day. To be honest I will not rush back to a Cotes restaurant in a hurry. I cannot fault the service this time but the food really is not of a good standard, we had sirloin stakes that were tough and you did not have the sauce that I wanted and when I chose another one, I couldn't have that one. I did over hear the table next to me complaining. Also when we arrived at the restaurant I asked if we could sit by the window as it was such a warm night, I was told it had been requested by someone else. This was not true as no one sat there the whole time we were in the restaurant. The bill came to £90 - seriously overpriced for such sub standard food.

After having a very bad experience at Cote Hampstead, we were invited back. This second visit was much improved and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Never been as cold in a restaurant. Asked maitre’d if the a/c could be less. She said she’d lowered it, but zero change. My kids ordered burgers with cheese. Came without and when we asked for cheese they were taken away and reappeared minutes later with globular inlet led cheese on top. Neither ate it. My salad was ok but not sure why it takes 10mins to get a small plate of mayonnaise. Server was polite when she was available, but getting her attention - or anyone else’s - was not easy. Have been here a few times before. Won’t be back after this.

We arrived promptly for our 20.45 reservation and were greeted promptly at the door and were offered a choice of table. The restaurant was relatively empty for an end of month Friday night so we choose a larger table at the back of the restaurant. Unfortunately this was very close to the kitchen and serving area but that was our fault for choosing it but it did offer a good vista of the restaurant so we decided to stay. We were redeeming the free Negroni offer which we booked on-line from a marketing email. The negroni’s were brought within 5 minutes and tasted good as a Negroni should. We were asked if we wanted to order but asked to wait 5 minutes, another server approached us a few minutes later and ask if we wanted to order. We decided to order a bottle of wine and asked if there was a Malbec, the waitress was unsure and went to check informing us that there used to be one on the menu but not any longer so we decided to order a Cote du Rhône instead. The original waiter then appeared to take our order. We ordered a heritage tomato salad and a chicken liver parfait to be followed by the chateaux briand with fries and a green salad for main course. We asked how we liked it cooked and opted for medium rare as suggested in on the menu. There was then some confusion as to the green salad, the waiter asked if we wanted any sides. We mention that the menu states that it already comes with a green salad and chips. We were then informed the the green salad was merely a garnish. We were a bit confused and decided not to order any sides and waited to see what came. The wine arrived and we were asked to taste it to see if it was fine which it was. The starters arrived which were very tasty, my only comment is that the sourdough was a bit tough and a little stale but I still ate it. The main course arrived about 10 minutes after the starters and was well presented. The meat was perfectly cooked and delicious and the fries were fresh and hot. The green salad was of an adequate size and much larger than a garnish. We were asked if we were enjoying everything halfway through the meal which we were. For desert I ordered a coupe noir which I enjoyed. We asked for the bill but by then there was only one waiter left in the room and after i received the bill I waited some time before I paid and left. The service was professional and friendly throughout if a little slow at the end.

Having dined at the Hampstead branch on numerous occasions, we were very dissapointed in the delivery aspect of the meal. We ordered some side dishes that either were not delivered at all and others that were not brought with our steaks. One meal ordered was not cooked to order and had to be returned. We recognise that this does occur from time to time. After voicing our concerns and complaint with the staff, we were kindly offered complimentary desserts and the final bill was substantially reduced. We wish to thank the staff member who did recognise our upset and thank her for displaying genuine leadership in resolving the issue. We will return but believe there are lessons to be learned.

Delicious meal at Cote Hampstead - consistently good quality food.

Warm welcome and good service. My steak was just right and the quality of the meat was good too. My family had lovely dinner. The only downside was the fact that it was very noisy but that couldn’t been helped.

You can always count on Cote . Booked Cote on a Sunday evening . The waiting staff were delightful . Friendly and natural . My chicken was moist and tasty and my friend loved her steak . And we received a free bottle of French merlot as part of a current newsletter promotion Delicious wine . Thanks Cote . Keep on doing what you do !

I phoned up to book a quiet table as I had 2 very elderly people in my party of 5. We were given a very noisy table upstairs that also felt very cramped. We were offered the opportunity to move downstairs by the door but it was too draughty so we stayed put. I ordered the Pissaladière which was extremely disappointing as looked like a piece of pitta bread with some kind of sauce without a single onion & half an anchovy! My daughter expressly asked the waiter if the crepe could be made suitable for a vegan with no cheese & he assured her it could however when it arrived it was swimming in a butter & cream sauce. She was then offered the vegan menu which we had not been shown before & she chose the lentil dish which turned out to be unavailable so ended up with the risotto which was very average. The rest of the food was just ok. The spinach was cooked in cream which was not stated on the menu so we sent it back & did get some plain steamed spinach. The acoustics were terrible as were the noise levels so we couldn’t really talk to each other and our elderly parents were forced to sit in silence. To be fair the staff did try very hard to be helpful but overall it was an extremely disappointing experience which I would not want to repeat.

Excellent atmosphere, food and wine. Reasonably priced. A treat to receive complimentary negroni.

Overall the food is nicely presented and quality - loved the asparagus, chicken was a little dry but still tasty and the chocolate fondant was to die for. Complimentary bottle of wine as an on-line enrolment incentive was a generous touch. Cotes definitely adds something to an area - I will return!
