Nice atmosphere and good coffee. Brunch was good although more non-egg choices would better for non egg eaters eg smashed avocado on sourdough bread and a wider range of fresh smoothies

Some delay in the food emerging from the kitchen, and then one dish was not quite up to normal standard. However, this was probably a slightly off night, and we've been often enough to trust this place to deliver a good, if not exceptional, experience. Always good value.

Good service. Food as always, as expected and good. Nice atmosphere upstairs there. Would recommend for a lunch time and for early evening as good value.

The food was good and looked appetizing; the portions ample. Service very good and the staff are alwaysfriendly and helpful. I have always enjoyed my experiences at Cote Hampstead.

pleasant ambience . the food is ok. tuna requested medium /well done arrived well done. salad leaves are not inspected closely before put on the plate which makes for a not totally appetising salad. filtered water jug was put on table where it created a pool of water around it. the second jug arrived filled to the very top - impossible to pour without it going all over the table. service is friendly and willing diners to enjoy the experience but perhaps need more serving staff training.

Our lunch today was excellent - we had the 2 course set menu. Beautiful warm butternut squash salad and the Sea Bream. Well presented and tasty. Excellent service too!

Great meal, beautifully served. Quick service. Remembered by the manager even though we hadn't been there for over 6 months. Very attentive staff. All in all a lovely evening.

Lovely food as ever and a nice touch at the end of our visit - it was my mother-in-law's birthday which I hadn't told them but the staff picked it up somehow and brought a glass of Kir Royale for her. She was delighted!

The food was good. The staff are excellent. I noticed I saw a lot of people who used to go to another Restaurant I went to. I know they were at Côte. Because the other place just went down and the prices went going up they used to be good but isn't good any more. So Cote take note as Hampstead is like a Village and if a Restaurant is or is not good any more we will all know and the word goes round quickly. So keep your Restaurant good.

Good atmosphere, good food helpful staff. I could only see two vegetarian options one more would have been nice to give me a choice. My friend enjoyed his steak and frites , I liked the mushroom pancakes . Staff seemed a bit busy so there was a slight delay in taking the order and paying, however staff apologised for keeping us waiting, which was nice.

Simple food executed very well with good service and reasonable prices. Great neighbourhood restaurant. You'd have to go a long way to find better frites and the steak was very good.

food ok. reasonable value with fairly standard fare .We were annoyed that the waiter did not clear empty glasses etc. Good Rioja by the glass.

The venue is beautifully located. We were seated at the upper floor near the windows, it is very bright. The service and the food were very good, the apple crumble was excellent, my only critique is that the portion of fish was a bit small for my appetite.

Excellent experience,good ambience , helpful staff, interesting menu. The prices are immensely sensible and gives London a good name for a change ! 2 starters,4 mains ,4 sweets, 3 glasses of wine, 1 coffee For £88! Including a 12.5% service charge . This in expensive leafy Hampstead, we have had similar good experiences with the chain even in Central London.

Enjoyed another visit to this elegant venue in Hampstead with lovely food. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening. Must have been a busy day as sold out of most of the fish main courses.

It's always good here. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional and the food is great. Booking online is easy. Has never disappointed. Look forward to next time

Good value for money food. Great service. Would like to see a more interesting and better value wine menu. We didn't go for the free bottle of wine offer because the wine wasn't great.

Another enjoyable meal at a branch of Cote. Not haute cuisine but very enjoyable, well presented dishes, reliably prepared, at a very fair price by friendly and efficient staff. What more could one ask for?

The restaurant is so handy after a walk on the Heath and doesn't feel like it's on the busy high st. Great food as usual except that my (favourite) goat's cheese and walnut starter was only available as a main. Good service 😎

This is a lovely place - kind, helpful staff, stylish dining and fantastic value for money. My father had his last three birthday dinners there (86,87,88) and I fully intend to continue this tradition!

Loved Cote every time I have eaten there. Never disappointed and always choose it as a place to meet up with old friends for good food and wine at a reasonable price.

Food was very nice, portions could have been bigger. Sour notes were that we waited more than 3 minutes at the entrance before anyone approached us (would have been less of an issue had someone spoken to us straight away as asked us to wait). We also overheard someone from another table complain about their orders seemingly being forgotten/taking too long to arrive.

Went as a party of 4 who all seemed to enjoy the atmosphere and their individual first and second choice menu. We had first timers in party as well.

Manageress particularly friendly and helpful. Food well presented and tasty. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Would definitely go back there. A lovely evening.

Delicious food, friendly service. I had the chicken and walnut salad, which was very tasty. Also had the chocolate fondant - nom nom. They were happy to swap out sorbet for ice cream, which I always appreciate. Only reason it doesn't get top marks is that the person I was dining with had to ask a second time for their peppermint tea.

Most definitely the best cote in London and by far the best chain restaurant with the best service what could be better. Love the summer menu.

Cote were shortstaffed so there was a delay on some of our food, but they could not have been nicer about the issue and gave my each member of my family (of which there were 8) free dessert!
