We had a great evening, relaxing and comfortable. Very nice as usual, friendly staff and beautiful food. The service was quick and staff attentive .

We thoroughly enjoyed our mother's day experience at Cote Hampstead; the staff were most accommodating and courteous, the food and beverages were excellent and even though the restaurant was packed, we felt very relaxed and were able to take our time. Would recommend.

A lovely evening meal out with friends. Good range of choices from early evening menu. Service efficient and courteous. Only problem was poor lighting above our table.

Hideous experience! We booked for mother’s day brunch. Overcrowded and noisy with a lot of boisterous children in the restaurant. Customers jumping the queue. Decided not to dine there as a result and left!

Great food, quick and good service. Very friendly staff. However, I was disappointed with my desert. Apple tart was microwaved slightly and had no icy sugar on top as it usually have. Didn’t have to pay for it. I love this restaurant anyway.

Cote was lightly disorganised last night, and the food wasn’t quite as good as usual. Still a perfectly OK experience, but it does fluctuate a bit.

We had a very enjoyable evening, good food and friendly efficient staff. The standard of food and service at Cote has managed to continue and that is why it is such a successful restaurant chain. Very good value.

Very attentive staff and the food is delicious. Always a pleasant dining experience. The Hampstead restaurant is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. 5 star service.

Lovely set up a s great food and service. Better than going into the west end if you want nice meal and don’t want to headache of parking. Only downside is the excessive service charge

Friendly, efficient service, tasty food, drinks served within 5 minutes of being seated, slight delay on taking payment but no-one’s fault as six tables left at the same time. No complaints though - highly recommended

Great breakfast menu and we had a very lovely server who was so helpful and didn’t rush us over a leisurely brunch. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing value especially early menu. The food has maintained it's high standard even though this Group has expended to over 60 restaurants. Great staff always helpful and cheerful.

the service was very slow. I asked for well-done eggs, but it was medium-rare so I asked the waiter to change it. this took a long time nearly 20 min or more.

Very busy at Sunday lunchtime but the staff as good-humoured and efficient as ever. Usual experience at Cote - absolutely no complaints. The menu is always spot on. Nothing on it that I wouldn't like to eat.

Cote offer the very best of French cuisine, together with outstanding service and elegant surroundings, make for a great meal. The menu is joyous and the bill similarly so, worth every penny.

It's ok but theyre not very attentive and you have to keep asking for what they were meant to bring or do. So I'd go back as it's in a good spot but ready to ask for things early and again

Nice dining experience. First time at this Cote. Menus varied and service fairly good. This is one of the few restaurant chains to offer filtered water.

The staff are lovely and helpful. I don't like fish, and found the smell a little overwhelming on arrival, although we were near the doors and got fresh air, which was good. The chicken was a bit tough, some of it was okay, the sauce was wonderful, as were the vegetables and fries.

Perfect breakfast experience. Nice ambience. No silly piped muzac. Comfortable seats. Clean tables . Great Coffee. Lovely fresh food. Nice staff. There's my twentyfive words.

Beautiful restaurant. Good service. Lovely food. Good place for people watching. Gluten free chips. Pretty good value for money - can have a relatively inexpensive meal.

When arrival, it appeared a bit chaostic and not so fast to greet and sit us down. Lots of people squeeze in the entrance. Overall, Great services and good food.

I had the seabass which was luke warm, but quite tasty although i had to send it back to be heated up. They were quite good about it, but service overall not brilliant.

Delicious food: we all had different dishes and loved them. The Côte wine of the month was superb. The Maître d’ and the South American waitress were delightful. A very satisfying evening.

Efficient friendly service in a warm welcoming environment . The standard of food is consistently good at an affordable price.the current manager has returned from maternity leave & improved the efficiency.

Excellent service and food, three courses for £13.50 with excellent produce and well seasoned food. Will definitely be going back in the near future. Amen

We enjoyed our meal, and all food was quite tasty, and came promptly; service was good. However, we did have a poorly placed table next to the stairs and the drinks station, which was not at all peaceful -- at the same time many tables near the front windows seemed unoccupied. Also some of the portion sizes were quite small, in particular the niçoise salad, which beneath a small piece of tuna had approximately 1 baby potato, 3 lettuce leaves, and 2 olives in addition to other ingredients. For £13.50, it was really pathetic and disappointing.

A reliably excellent, relaxed lunch and supper venue. Unfailingly friendly and efficient service, delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks menu with good range of choices - meat, fish and vegetarian. Good ambiance too - like the best French brassieres!

Terrible! Service was shocking the waitress was rude and condescending to both me and my husband and our eldest son on different occasions. We sent back the starter of Fougasse as it was very doughy, it came back then burnt! We had just received it and then our main courses turned up, we pointed out the fact we hadn’t eaten the starter yet to be told by the rude waitress that was because we had sent the starter back and she then just put down our mains in front of us. Our fish goujons where swimming in oil, disgusting. My sons steak which he asked for medium was rare it was practically mooing! My son said this to the waitress and she said that he obviously didn’t want it medium! We pointed out to her that it was rare, no need for her rudeness. It then came back well done and cremated. When we asked her for the second bottle of wine she said to my husband “what, really?, you want another bottle of wine?” How dare she question us! We won’t be returning. I have told my experience to at least ten people. They really should be aware of word of mouth!

This is a chain of restaurants and though some may vary, in general they have reasonable food at reasonable prices, all within a convivial atmosphere and with friendly staff.

I am a regular at Cote Hampstead (I live in Paris - but come back once a month for a week - and always go for at least 1 meal). I really like their food and the atmosphere. Also I like the idea of rewarding fidelity with offers from time to time.. I feel that separates the 'one timer' from the people who visit on a fairly regular basis. All was lovely this time as ever, except for our waiter who not only was not aware of the offers - but had - and I'm not exaggerating - 5 large food splashes on his shirt and hadn't thought to change it!!!??? (This was at lunch - imagine what it looked like by the dinner service!?!?!?!). Still a great place to go - just watch out for how your staff look when they come to the table!

The restaurant is so conveniently located just opposite Hampstead Station. The staff were attentive and efficient and the cuisine excellent. My only observation is that it is a very noisy restaurant. It is buzzy. It has two floors and banquette tables that can pushed together to accommodate large parties. All in all, highly recommend but BOOK FIRST

There were five us and as one of our party could not hear well I asked to be moved to a table we had before and this was instantly agreed. Food and staff were excellent and we appreciated the free bottle of wine

Excellent service and food - rounded off our evening very well. Very nice waitress who has served us on previous visit, her recommendation of sea bream was spot on.

The the menu provided plenty of choice and the service and food were excellent and good value. The restaurant is, however, rather noisy. More soft materials would help to reduce noise levels. Even if tablecloths would increase costs too much, curtains and cushions for chairs should be possible and might help. Otherwise, it's a lovely place.

Service was very bad and very slow They actually forgot to place our main meal order to the kitchen Although the manager came and apologised and offered a small discount ie not paying for our coffee and desert That was not the point We have visited other Cote Brasserie restaurants and have always been happy with the service and food Unfortunately the service this time left a lot to be desired

Great food (as always) but still mistakes made in the service. The golden rule in a restaurant is "not to" bring the main while the guests are still half way through their main; and this is happening quite a lot in Côte restaurants.

Nice ambience in the restaurant. Lovely staff, who were very helpful re my gluten allergy. The food was excellent. I have been to this restaurant several times before and will keep going. It's very good.

very good local restaurant. friendly helpful service. reasonable food at reasonable prices. and we can walk to & from home. so gives us a healthy bonus
