Côte Hampstead

Very nice food and staff BUT had to intervene to stop the server from topping up my wine measure with wine from another bottle.

A warm welcome always awaits my wife and I when we visit. The service is prompt and the menu enticing! The only negative comment would be the screech hing noise the Expresso machine's coffee grinder makes!

Excellent service - felt safe with Covid protections. No issue with my children's allergies. Everyone enjoyed the food.

Easy to book; attentive on arrival; friendly and efficient service (though did forget our beans): delicious food and no pressure to "give up" the table, which we have experienced elsewhere.

Service and food outstanding and very flexible to attend any other request! We can’t expect more at this challenging times :)

The whole evening was superb. Staff very attentive despite the restaurant being very busy. The food was the best we’ve had at Cote. Despite all the madness going outside it was an oasis inside. Thank you. Only negatives, We did have to wait a little too long to get seated & drinks were slow to be served once we were at our table

I went with 3 teenagers and my wife who are not fussy food wise luckily, and they loved the choice which i chose with things they have not had before but there was 5 clean plates after 3 courses each. 👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent food! We had brunch here before walking around Hampstead Park. Very spacious so you won’t feel on top of people. We went back for coffees after! Hope to see you again!

Cote Hampstead is one of my favourite branches - I also like the one close to the National Portrait Gallery. The style of the restaurants is modern and stylish, the staff are very good and the food is of high quality. After you have ordered you never have to wait long for your food. The wine list is also quite reasonably priced. However, there are not enough fish dishes as mains. I also think the main dishes should come with potatoes and vegetables, so it's not necessary to order these as side dishes. I had the sea bass this afternoon, which comes only with onion and a sauce, yet it was more expensive than the mains my parents had, which were pork/ chicken.

We are regular customers at Cote in Hampstead as well a few other branches. Even had a few birthday celebrations. We like the food and appreciate the service.

Excellent service ! Warmly greeted at the door and offered option of being seated upstairs. Handed over to great wait staff who hit the right balance of attentive yet unobtrusive. I had delicious crab to start and very tasty and buttery haddock ( October special) my partner had the generous garlic bread ( of which I had half) and the chicken. Covid safe with widely spaced tables and gentle insistence to wearing a face covering when leaving the table. A very enjoyable evening ! Thank you

We have been going to cote Hampstead since it started . We think the food choice is excellent and the quality Is high , it’s evident the management keep things interesting by menu changes and specials , which are well done . The staff who do of course change from time to time are uniformly friendly - well chosen - I know Cote because of this buying and selling of the business was overloaded like pizza express with debt And so got into trouble in the downturn It did not deserve this fate . It needs an owner who recognises its uniqueness and ethos created over the years and values its staff I hope the chain continues and does well and the ownership stays in place as well as the management Which as a business owner myself I recognise is and has been doing a good job .

Excellent as usual! Although the restaurant was really busy, being a Sunday, the service remained prompt and efficient. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious.

As ever, I enjoyed my time at Cote Hampstead. It was very relaxed despite there being a full restaurant and the Covid arrangements seemed to put a bit of extra pressure on the staff. If I have one gripe it was that the Steak Frites didn't seem up to normal standard. The steak was pretty mediocre. I know the cut isn't as tender as a sirloin or a fillet but even so it very tough and stringy. Other than that, all good.

We booked a table for two, special request ‘downstairs’ as I am recovering from an ankle injury. We were met with a lovely smile and sat downstairs with smooth efficiency. Our order of a bottle of the house red was quickly fulfilled and before long we had ordered onion soup, prawn gratineé, the chicken and, off menu, the fish pie😛😋😍 service was prompt and friendly. All in all, we had a lovely time and at a very fair price indeed! Magnifique!

We had a very enjoyable and tasty meal. We would have enjoyed having the 2/3 course menu even better but understand the reasoning behind it. Covid precautions seemed a bit random, some staff wearing masks/ shields some not ??

Reception, service and preparation for Covid were all excellent but unfortunately the food was well below previous standards. No doubt this was due to stresses in the kitchen due to the current crisis and is understandable. Mitigated to some extent by no-charge for items for which complaint was made and by the friendliness of the staff but shall not visit again before things improve.

Always a pleasure to eat at Côte unfortunately they’ve discarded the special menus due to the COVID 19. Hopefully the special menus will be re introduced soon as they make dining out cost effective. However we’ll done guys.

We chose Cote Hampstead as our first restaurant experience as lockdown eased. The large area with tables generously spaced as well as the consistently good quality of the food and friendly staff added to the calm and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Went for my wife’s birthday. Great idea. She relaxed. Waitresses lovely and good all good. And they brought a cake!

Lovely evening. Crispy calamari, perfectly good steak and a fairly priced bottle of wine. Nice waiter. Relaxing.
