Organised and friendly, attentive staff. Lovely to be able to sit outside, not sure the inside tables are 2 metres apart though.

We joined in the eat out to help out scheme on a Monday. The restaurant was incredibly busy but the staff were great- nothing was too much trouble even though they were rushed off their feet. Food as always delicious. A lovely evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening dinner. Food was of a very high standard. No complaints on the service and have no hesitation in going back again.

Top food in a very welcoming, efficient and discrete environment. We loved our early dinner at Côte Guildford as we always have at the Cambridge branch. Consistency in quality and excellent service.

The staff at the Guildford branch of Côte are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is always quick to arrive and delicious. My favourite place to eat in Guildford.

It was jolly nice to go out to a restaurant where (as usual I must say) the staff were charming, the food exemplary, the atmosphere relaxed and the cost was reasonable. Bravo Cote. Tim and Karen

Staff so welcoming and look after you through your your meal, food was amazing as always.

Really disappointed with the Covid-19 mitigation measures displayed. Staff wasn’t wearing gloves for cleaning, no disinfection spray just a damp cloth for cleaning between bookings, the server was touching bottles / glasses between courses. One of our party felt extremely anxious.

We ordered G&Ts, Olives, Calamari as Apperatives / Starters followed by 3 x main course Lobsters with a bottle of wine. The Calarari came first followed by the Olives, then the wine. No G&Ts! Wine before the G&Ts I don’t think so. I asked where the G&Ts were and the waitress said “oh you want them first and went to chase up the bar staff. Ok disconnect between food and bar drinks. But drinks first then food please. Basically the food came way too fast for the bar to keep up!

We came to Guildford branch for dinner last night, we eat regularly at cote and my ribeye steak was not to the usual standard that I’m used to having it at. I spoke with the manager marios who very quickly and effectively replaced it with a new one. Again this one had the same issue, and he apologised and we ordered a different steak off the menu. The way Marios dealt with it was absolutely excellent. He was fast, apologetic and very sincere. We were not made to feel like we were being difficult and he was really great. Definitely deserves a mention on the excellent service he provided. Well done!

DELICIOUS!!! I had bread and olives, prawn gratinée starter and the lobster frites as a main. Absolutely amazing meal, I was left so full, happy and a satisfied beaming smile on my face ! Would definitely recommend, affordable and very very tasty!

We had a most enjoyable meal at Cote in Guildford today. Will definitely be going to this restaurant again. Staff were lovely too.

We love Cote, always have. That being said Guildford branch does not have the facilities to cope with a heatwave. For an establishment that sets itself high standards it failed us this time. The white wine was warm (due to not enough room to keep enough wine chilled during peak demand). Nevertheless it was served to us and ice cubes provided the only solution , but only after we complained. If this is a constraint the customer should be informed BEFORE serving warm wine so an informed choice can be made. The staff were great but the warm wine and serving lemon 'sorbet' with the apple tart (After staff suggesting lemon 'ice cream' because the vanilla had run out) lowered the expected to experience to average on this occasion.

A regular visitor with my son and it never disappoints - food and staff are always excellent as it was today - even with guidelines in place still felt a relaxed atmosphere. Evelina and Marius are charming!

Very clean and clearly laid out. We were well looked after and I felt very safe. The food was delicious and has been thoroughly missed!

We had lobster, fillet steak & Chicken - all dishes previously brought in Cote pre lockdown A bit underwhelmed found the size of the main part of the meal smaller then when previously dined.

I did not receive the Monday eat out discount. The restaurant printer was faulty so I had to read the bill on a broken tablet with a total that was miniscule. I changed the total as it did not seem as if the discount was applied and was told it was. I subsequently added the items by downloading the menu and can see the discount was not applied. The restaurant itself was somewhat chaotic it seemed like many new staff and the former well run ship was not as smooth. I had to prompt for one side and the wrong dessert was served twice. We have the Ivy and march hare in very close proximity and while I have been a long term fan of cote including the at home innovation, but I was very disappointed yesterday, and may opt for one of the similar alternatives in future.

Great, as ever. Busy, buzzy and well organised. Staff were friendly and courteous just as they always are and took the job seriously. Even if it was 30-odd degrees and they were all wearing visors! Thanks for a fun evening.

The food was superb as always. Service a little slower than normal and one meal was wrong. We didn’t have to wait to long but had a little wait. The beer was very warm and they did not have any colder, it was a baking hot day!

I’ve missed Cote and it felt great to be back! Unfortunately the set menus have gone but with “eat out to help out” our meal was very reasonable - looking forward to next time!

Staff were so friendly and helpful - Dad had 4 starters (!) and they did not blink an eye. We had a lovely evening and it is great to see Cote back up and running - food was as good as always.

We hadn’t been to the guildford Cote before. We usually go to the Reigate branch but as that one hasn’t reopened after Covid we thought we’d give the Guildford branch a go and we weren’t disappointed it was very nice, staff are very pleasant and food was great couldn’t say better thank you

Our first time out during the pandemic and was absolutely faultless !! Safety and customer service was fantastic!! As always the food was amazing , we will be back soon !!

We felt very safe returning to Cote as all staff were wearing visors, tables were well spaced and there was sanitizer in the restaurant and rest rooms. As always the food was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. It was lovely to see familiar faces and catch up, and service was very attentive but discreet. Thank you.

Always a great place to go. These are hard times and I’m more than happy to support a local business. Staff exceptional.. atmosphere great. Food good.. not excellent.. but very good. I’d still return as overall a great experience. Love the staff... I’ll be back!!

Sadly not the best experience on this occasion... The restaurant was far too busy and allowed too many people to make reservations. Not enough staff on duty to cope with demand. Booked a table for 20:30 arrived on time but had to wait 15 minutes for a table to be free. This has never happened before. Long wait to be served, to get a drink and in between courses. Ran out of sirloin steaks so had fillet instead. The steak was tiny 5 mouthfuls at best. I mentioned this to the team but was told all steaks are the same weight/size. I stated that this was simply untrue when I compared the steak to my brothers which was significantly bigger and my steak the previous evening. A new steak was cooked for me but this was rushed, tough and cold in the middle. Sadly a very disappointing experience ☹️

Staff were lovely though it took ages for them to bring our bill. Also our dessert order was wrong but it got corrected very quickly. Good to see all social distancing rules being carried out without changing the ambiance of the restaurant. Food was tasty although the gratin potatoes was a strange choice to be paired as the starch in our meals (we had lamb chops and the salmon ratatouille). I didnt eat the potatoes as I thought the cheesy taste stole from the delicate flavours in the lamb chop and pickled onion dish. Dessert was delicious, and the coffee a treat, as always.
