Côte Guildford

3 courses with a bottle of wine, excellent service, variable menu, for just £24. What’s not to love😃 a favourite venue for me and my friends.

Food and service was excellent today we both enjoyed are starter and main meals we will be back soon for another lunch will recommend it to our friends.

Staff very friendly and attentive, brunch was delicious, the poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the avocado was ripe and tasty. Arrived quickly and generous portions. Will definitely return.

First time at Cotes in Guildford?. Waiter was very pleasant but The Sea bass was very thin and placed on a big portion of mashed potato to duisguise this. Disappointing but did not complain as I was treating my friend for her birthday.

Guildford is our favourite branch the staff in particular add to the ambience providing friendly good service. Set menu's great value for money and choice.

A quick one course meal turned into 3 courses because we so enjoyed the ambience. Service excellent as usual and we were made to feel so welcome. Thanks

I love this place. So relaxed and no pressure to hurry and eat your meal. Perfect for a girlie lunch or evening dinner. Don’t change anything.

Great food & service 👍. Starters are a firm favourite- crab for me and chicken liver parfait for my partner. Followed by Delicious fillet steak & creme brûlée to finish off 😋

Very busy but good customer service. Food good. Tables quite close together so not much personal space. Usually use Cotes in Horsham but closed due to fire. Will be pleased when they open for business again.

Food good as usual - service good to start but deteriorated as time went on probably due to being busy — not good as had to get to hospital appointment

This is the best food by far! Service was attentive. The breakfast was served piping hot and the eggs were perfect. We will definitely visit again!

I enjoyed my lunch, menu varied, service excellent. I would recommend going there, there was a real buzz, good value too. Convenient to the high street.

The food was good, I had the risotto, one of my favourites. Unfortunately the Parmesan never arrived so I ate it without. Not a great coffee lover but thought I would have a cappuccino. It was really strong and bitter, no chocolate on the top.

The best value brunch in town! Excellent quality and good service, Cote is a reliable venue whatever the occasion and Guildford's is a particularly good example.

Over the years I have visited many branches of Cote, Guildford is way up there at the top of good experience. I am treated , each return visit with a huge welcome Food and atmosphere are great staff are so friendly and always so polite. See you soon!

Cote is our favourite restaurant. The service in Guildford is second to none and we love the breakfasts, lunches and dinners, so you can say we are fans.

The restaurant was incredibly noisy with too many people crammed into a small area. My meal was adequate but my guest was unable to eat his duck which was very tough. In fairness the cost of the duck was removed from the bill , however we came for a tasty meal and didn’t get it. Not a patch on your Godalming restaurant. I hope you will find this review helpful.

Good welcome, nice atmosphere - we had the set early menu which was good but not exceptional. A 12.5% service charge is added automatically .......something for me to question next time I go as I always like to leave cash to be sure the servers get the money.

The food and service were very good despite it being full and people queuing for lunch. The lunch time menu has a great choice and very good value.

Very busy because of Mothering Sunday but there were enough staff and service was v good. I had the champagne brunch which was good value, glass of champagne, juice hot drink and cooked meal i had the vegetarian option , 2 gripes the sausage was a little weird and to be honest it all could have been hot, it was just warm, poached eggs v good!

the breakfast menu was not given to us and I only knew it was available because I looked on line. The service was miserable with the emphasis on pushing everything on the menu as I suppose they didn't like the idea we had eggs benedict and a glass of wine at 12.30pm. We felt we were being rushed the whole time and it was not at all relaxing. The staff all looked fed up and were clattering the cutlery in the draw behind us as though to make a deliberate noise. The noise alone in the back dining area was dreadful, everyone seeming to shout over each other to make themselves heard. If the staff had anything to do with it, we would have been in and out in 15 mins. I will never return to Cote in Guildford, even thought he food was very good.

A great way to celebrate Mum's Day; delicious dinner, nice wines, lovely staff and the perfect atmosphere with family at the always dependable Cote Guildford!

The service was good despite a busy restaurant. The staff were all very obliging and friendly and keen to make our meal an enjoyable experience. It was and we will return.

My small party of people thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We all had something different and no one had any thing negative to say about their dish.

Just had a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch at Cote in Guildford, excellent value, great food and very good service even though they were extremely busy.

Very good service and the food was tasty and of a high standard. One minor bad point was that we felt a bit rushed at the start despite being right on time. We were at pre theatre time. However on showing we felt rushed, they slowed down.

Consistently good food and good service even when they are very busy. By far the best Cote in the area, highly recommend but always best to book in advance.

Andreas was the perfect waiter the food was as usual excellent. This is our favourite Cote restaurant out of the 4 closest ones to Fernhurst we visit regulary.

Fantastic consistent food and wines at a reasonable price and friendly staff ... and one of the best gluten free offerings I know. We return here time and time again.

Another excellent meal with friends celebrating a significant birthday. We just had the set menu because we all found items on it which we love.
