Great service as always, and lovely food. Always love the atmosphere here. Relaxed and yet attentive staff - perfect balance. Looking forward to next month’s lunch time menu.

The service is fantastic, the waiters are so polite and thoughtful. I have order duck breast and it was juicy and delicious.I’m surely will visit there again.

An excellent meal with delightful staff, thoroughly recommended. I was there for my birthday and as well as some free drinks they also brought a complimentary dessert and sang Happy Birthday to me!

Fabulous attentive polite service for my sons 20th birthday brunch, they even decorated our table! Would definitely recommend and will definitely go again! Would give it 10/10.

Staff were absolutely brilliant and very kind to our two children. Food was as expected a few things that could have been a bit better but overall a good meal. Staff were exceptional.

There was some confusion over our complimentary drinks and it too three people to sort this out. The restaurant was over full. Table next to us had a wine bucket which meant there was barely enough room to pull your seat out. It was very noisy so hard to hear conversations. We were 4 on a round table but you could hear to talk to person next to you. Food was the same good standard but at 7.30 there were items on special menu not available. I usually rate my Cote visits highly but this was a disappointing experience. Need to raise their game as a new Ivy has opened up the road.

Restaurant was busy, service very slow and the people seated after us served first!! The breakfast was very nice when it finally arrived. I think they need more staff, normally service is 1st class.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was good quality and arrived in a timely manner, food was fresh and hot. Have been several times for breakfast to the Guildford Cotes and would recommend to others

Excellent as usual. very consistent quality of food, service and atmosphere. one only has to look in the restaurant early in the evening to see what a popular venue this is. We usually use this Cote when going to a theatre nearby. It's worth the climb of a steep flight of stairs to get to.

Great food, and wonderful selection and service. V busy but nice atmosphere. Great selection of starters and loved the duck dish Loved it! Will come again!

The place was incredibly busy when we went which made it very noisy and hectic. Our server was focusing in too many things and we felt a bit forgotten about.

Cote has a lovely atmosphere, especially the conservatory style section at the back of the restaurant. The service was great and the food good too. We really enjoyed our time there.

Very swift service, which is great if you are going on to a theatre, but may not be so good if you want to linger longer. The usual excellent menu choices (on the early evening menu) and good wine.

Cote is always lovely & never disappoints. Tonight was no exception as our food was very good, as was the service. We will definitely be back!

Lovely lunch - pear and endive salad was first rate and then our usual steak frites. Delicious as usual. Friends had the chocolate pot - said it was excellent!

Lovely as always. Bit hard to hear each other as it was incredibly busy but thats not the restaurant's fault. Loved the main courses but often find it difficult to choose a starter as they are less inspiring than the mains. I had French Onion soup - it was nice but not fab, slightly lacking in flavour, but the crouton was excellent. Always glad of the free water served beautifully in the carafes. Our waitress was charming - good at her job and warm and friendly. Cote staff are always well trained.

Wonderful. Visited twice now and both times excellent friendly service, great food, unpretentious and great value for money. Definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend.

Went during the week for lunch. Food was very tasty, service was great, polite waiter. My friend and I had a lovely time. would go back again.

Absolutely delicious food.....the sea bream perfectly cooked, would be three time sthe price elsewhere!..excellent service ,it was extremely busy but not forgotten by the waitress.

The food was as good as ever and the staff were very pleasant but were rushing around as it was a very busy lunchtime. It was very nice but not very relaxing. The tables are also very close together which meant people and staff were always brushing past. Other Cote restaurants we have been to have been nicer

Incredible service and even better food! A really extensive menu with plenty of choice and all cooked to a high standard. I would definitely recommend coming here!

We regularly go here for breakfast and it never disappoints. We were a table of 6 this time and seated right next to the coffee machine which wasn’t ideal as it was so loud!

As usual, the choice was excellent and service was very good. One of the downsides of such a successful formula, is that it gets very busy and therefore quite noisy.

Food was nice, promptly delivered and hot. Waitress was impatient and more than a little grumpy when we asked for a slight change to the dish as listed on the menu, and even more so when she got the drinks order wrong. This was very unusual as normally the staff are excellent.

Very friendly helpful and welcoming staff. We enjoyed the escalope of veal and creme caramel, duck breast and chargrilled half chicken with vegetable side dishes.

Live locally and Cotes is always a good venue for food. Morning, noon or evening. The staff are pleasant and friendly. Will accommodate on the menu if possible.

Fast and efficient service and as always a friendly welcome.The French breakfast is very tasty particularly The boudin noir.My wife had poached eggs and my daughter had the veggie breakfast.A good start to the day.

Great value meal (daytime set menu), great service and friendly staff. The set menu is updated every month, so always something new to try. Absolutely no complaints. Will be back again next month.

Cote Guildford is a great restaurant, good for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The food is delicious and the service is good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The only drawback for me is that it can get rather loud when the restaurant is busy, but that's the sign of a successful place!

Fantastic brunch - great food, great service and good value for money. Eggs Benedict is my favourite. Brunch is very popular at the weekends so we always book to make sure we get in.

Lovely evening with friends; great waiter (Romeo!) and super food. Managed to rack up a rather big bill with 2 bottles of very quaffable red. Good value and buzzy atmosphere. Not 'fine dining', but a fine evening with plenty of ambient atmosphere.

Six of us for dinner at 5:30pm before the theatre. Excellent service, quiet at that time but by 6pm it was filling up. Much enjoyed and good value before we were able to choose the set price menu..

We visit Cote Guildford all the time and always have a great experience. The good is delicious and the staff are always really friendly and helpful.

Always a very very warm welcome , great service and great service, fan selection of traditional French style cuisines a real treat for any occasion. Seating options are really fantastic great atmosphere

Had a really good time, only downside was that the waiter mentioned that the bill was 69p short even though we had paid most of the optional service charge, not on.

Nice location, the food was really really good, especially the dessert. Service was fast and accurate, always kind. Price was ok (2 starters, 2 mains, 2 dessert = 57£). Great value for money. I would definitely recommend it and for sure will come back.

Once again Cote scores full marks for the food and service. The staff and management were superb very professional and looking after us with a smile, they must be the best team in Guildford.
