Guildford very picturesque and Cote Bistro is situated in heart of the back streets. Excellent food and very nice and efficient waitress! Set lunch is very good value for money.

Food was excellent. Service was poor. We had to ask for someone to take our order for each course, and twice for the bill. Disappointing.

Eight of us, from three generations, enjoyed a celebratory birthday breakfast recently. The service was efficient and the waiting staff attentive. The food was tasty and good value for money. All our tastes (including gluten free) were well catered for. Thank you, Cote.

Quite crowded and noisy until the theatre -goers left @7:30 and then much better. Service and food very good - quite liked the new premium menus available from 12:00 ,til closing - good choice of seasonal dishes.

The staff are friendly, attentive and efficient. It is noisy in the back room because of the low ceiling. The food is good and the choice varied. We would recommend and will certainly book again. Thank you for an enjoyable pre theatre meal.

This is a very efficient branch of Cote, the staff are great. It was good to see the spinach & mushroom crepes back on the menu.

The food is always good and good value but sadly on this occasion the service was very poor. Had to ask to order after a long wait and then had to ask for the bill after another long wait.

A lovely welcome upon arrival followed by excellent food, attentive staff and an all-round lively and yet calm ambience. The perfect place for an 80th birthday lunch. Would thoroughly recommend.

The food is always excellent here, and I can highly recommend the weekend special lunchtime burger. It's a prime burger, definitely not an economy patty. Add in the bacon and cheese for £1 each and it's still excellent value.

I really recommend Cote for brunch. Lovely restaurant with professional staff and the food is delicious. They do a great deal for brunch that includes, cold drink, coffee and breakfast. Well worth it!

Good atmosphere, convenient location, pleasing decor, attentive staff, sensible prices but a little too noisy for easy conversation. The summer menu has just the right balance between quality and cost.

We tried the prestige menu, which was superb and whilst a little dearer, was still excellent value. There are no compromises on the quality of the food. We both had pork bellies, with great crackling. As always great friendly service. Overall an excellent lunch.

Good service and well cooked meal. One of us had the special main (Salmon Hollandaise) which was a rather small portion. Other than that it was fine.

Delicious and good quality food - with great portion sizes. Excellent value for money. A full vegetarian breakfast with a hot drink and a cold juice for £10. Excellent, friendly and attentive service. I am a regular customer and will continue to go back.

Excellent food, flavours were well developed in all meals for 3 courses and were well designed, simplicity is key. Service was timely you were not rushed and there were no delays between courses. Price was about right for the quality of the food. Ambience was good, busy but not crowded and not too noisy. Well fed and well happy.

Enjoyed our stay! Lovely ambiance. It is located next to Guildford Castle, which we enjoyed after visiting the restaurant. We will come back soon to visit.

the meal was ok, the waiters appeared rushed off their feet - maybe the kitchen was a little slow or everyone ordered at the same time. Had the set 'premium' menu which appears no different to the ordinary set menu but the prices have gone up. I was pleased to see one of my favourite main dishes on the set menu: crepe with mushrooms, spinach and cheese. Why the desert menu never changes in the last two years is beyond me.

The poached egg with my starter was undercooked. The table we had was squashed in, meaning that the waiter and departing diners had to disturb me to squeeze by. Small matters perhaps but best you are aware.

Excellent food as always. I liked the new prestige menu particularly. Unfortunately, for the first time ever the service was not quite as good as usual meaning that we didn’t have time to have a coffee before we had to leave for the theatre.

Regularly enjoy great food and great value. The staff are always excellent, attentive and prompt. Decor is very warm and inviting with a nice ambiance.

Lovely quiet spot in Guilford for Cote. Never fails to deliver from the great menu but they could cater better for the vegetarians amongst us, a risotto or goats cheese thing tends to be a go to to for eateries everywhere

Always enjoy our experience at Cote Guildford. Delicious food and excellent service - so friendly and very efficient. We also greatly appreciate the wide choice on their gluten-free menu as our daughter has coeliac disease. It is wider ranging than most restaurants, especially with desserts.

The welcome was warm and efficient. They coped gracefully with the news that our party had almost halved in size and served us with insight and expediency. My Warm King Prawn Salad starter was delicious but the Rib Eye Steak main was less successful. They were very helpful in ordering a taxi for one of our party who had injured his foot on the way to the restaurant which was a considerate gesture.

Brilliant night. The service was great especially our waitress. The food fantastic. We were lucky to get a complimentary bottle of wine which was delicious.

The food and service were excellent, we were made to feel very welcome , the service was quick and very efficient followed by a beautiful menu of interesting dishes, difficult to decide what to have, all our meals were delicious and fresh and great value. A fantastic atmosphere too, very happy customers and we will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family. Excellent service and delicious food. As always thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, always spoilt for choice. Today enjoyed we enjoy eggs royale and breakfast complete- fruit salad, French yogurt and a croissant.

We were a table of four, and everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious. All of the staff members were happy and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout the evening. Consistently good standard. Highly recommend.

Pleasant staff; indifferent food, air-conditioning too cold. The fried calamari and the chicken were of the dullest type of pre-prepared chain restaurant food. Disappointing, as I've always quite enjoyed Côte.
