Food was lovely and service quick. We eat off set Saturday offer menu and was good value. Nice restaurant and nice obliging staff. Will go back.

Great breakfast served by lovely staff who always go out of their way to be help full. Every time I visit I always come out with a smile on my face.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first exploration of the Prestige set menu which had several dishes that we would have liked to try. It seems as though we will just have to go back several times to explore some more. We will look forward to it.

Busy and fun place for a Saturday lunch. Service is good even though they have a lot to do. Nice food and a good mix of what you can choose from.

Excellent meal. The onion soup was very good. The waiting staff were very attentive and helpful and you are made to feel welcome from when you arrive. There is a great choice of food to suit all appettites.

The restaurant was incredibly busy on a Thursday lunchtime and the waiters could scarcely cope. Nonetheless they did a good job and we did not have to wait for our food. We ate from the Prestige set menu and all of our food was tasty and of good quality. Cote continues to deliver!

We had a delicious lunch at Cote in Guildford. Staff were friendly and efficient, and could accommodate our wish to have one of our friends telephone in her lunch request, whilst she was stuck in traffic.

Breakfast here is always good. Nothing to fault. Service was a little disappointing but nothing to rant about

The staff at cote Guildford are always good in giving us a lovely table by the window, great food and good value and don’t rush us even thought we were the last to leave!

Food and Service both excellent, A warm welcome and freedom to choose whichever table for two we liked. White wine properly served in an ice bucket.

Lovely lunch catching up with old friends. The food was excellent and the set menu really good value for money. The only reason I didn't score 6 was that he service was a little bit slow, but it was otherwise a very good meal.

I realise that lunch time is for meeting and chatting, but I could barely hear my fellow diner over the hubbub. This is down to seating density and poor acoustics. I feel sorry for the staff at Cote, because they have some food delivered pre-cooked (or in my case pre-under-cooked) condition, and are expected to bear the customers' wrath. However, their level of customer service is excellent, and I was suitably compensated with an alternative dish. I will still definitely go back.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Two of our company of five had the Toulouse sausages. We had them before at the Esher Branch and they were excellent. However today at Guildford they were very overcooked. I suspect possible reheated. Not good.

Tasty food but slow service and many drink items weren't available. The price was good as we went before 7pm where you can get the steak and frites which was delicious.

The staff were wonderful helping us celebrate a family birthday and very engaging with our 8yr old son which was wonderful. The food was lovely.

Absolutely brilliant - just as good as ever in every way and just as good as the other three Cotes we have been to in Kingston, Esher and Windsor. for excellent food, service and surroundings/ambience - and price, of course, Noise was the only fly in the ointment at Windsor and, to a much lesser and far more acceptable extent in Kingston and Guildford: Esher was perfect!

Excellent evening again. Great value, very good service and delicious food and buzzy atmosphere with being manic. Will be back - that crime caramel is something never to be shared.

Always good and friendly service. Food is consistent and you always get what you expect. We have been many times as a family, for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Nice atmosphere and service but chicken provencal was dry and a bit bland. Crepe for dessert was very nice. Would go back but not in a hurry.

The food is always good and the service friendly and efficient. The wine list offers sufficient choice and price variation either by the bottle or glass so there is something for everyone.

Very busy and we didn't sit in a good location as there was a really noisy 18 month old kid on the next table that was a nightmare. We stayed maybe 15 mins max. Not the restaurants fault and not really sure what they can do about it but it spoilt our visit today. Had Coffee and pain au raisin and left. will not let it put us off but maybe pick another day or another Cote.

We had an excellent meal from the early evening set menu. The service was very friendly and efficient. We will certainly be returning in the near future.

Excellent service and excellent food as always from Cote Guildford. The coffee is the best coffee and scrambled eggs are my husbands favourite, will be back.

Very good indeed - new menus interesting - only problem (as usual) rather noisy! A birthday treat for me, The food was delicious with clever mixes. Off to the Ivy up the road next week, first visit how will it compare???

The food was fine but the service let them down - salads ordered with the meal didn’t arrive even when chased twice and eventually one was offered when we had finished. The waitress suggested that we might not have ordered the salad but all four of us clearly remember doing so found the lack of apology rather rude. The waiter leaned right across me to serve my friend rather than walk round the table. Then we paid £14 service charge. Might be time to move on from Cote...

Just love Cotes. Never disappoints. Staff are lovely. Food delicious and always piping hot! The salmon from the Prestige menu was really good. I will be going again.

Excellent set lunch and friendly service. I have not given six points since Cote restaurants are always very noisy and twice someone else's order got mixed up with our own.

The service was excellent but I had the steak / frites off the 2 courses for £11.95 menu and the steak was a bit gristly.

Great food. Bit open and noisy and could do with some baffles to cut down the noise. Staff very attentive. Good reservation system. Nice choice in low cost menu.

Lovely restaurant, always busy, good atmosphere and very pleasant service. Food good, always. We went for my daughters birthday so had two boys in tow but they had a good time too which is important.

The service was excellent and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive. I have eaten here several times and the food is always very good. It was nice to see some new dishes on the menu. The sauce on the mussels was particularly creamy and tasty this time. All in all it is excellent value for money.
