Such a warm happy restaurant excellent food and service the staff always greet you with a big smile, a great team lead by a great manager.

Absolutely packed at lunchtime today but our waitress was superb and got everything out to us on time, delicious risotto although a little bit too salty, but had a great time.

Nice food and good prompt service. We like the wide choice on the menu and the set lunch offer is competitive. Very busy but staff handle it well.

Excellent service and fantastic set menus that are incredible value for money and perfect when watching your pennies before Christmas. Already talking about rebooking. Enjoy!

On arrival, we were expected and swiftly seated at an appropriate table. We chose our meals unhurriedly. These were swiftly provided, and most enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Good food and value for money. Service also good although waitress should know not to pass food across the table but should walk round as there was plenty of room.

I visit Cote in Guildford quite regular and i am yet to be dissapointed. Good food constantly good service and reasonbly priced for the location.

Consistently well cooked, fresh, beautiful, well seasoned food. Great staff who are both attentive without being iver bearing and a lovely setting. Everything from the bread to the main courses is delivered with such attention to detail every time. Love it!

The food was fantastic with everything being just as described on the menu. There was a great atmosphere for our works Christmas party. The staff were great and absolutely no complaints.

I booked on line requesting the area to sit which was met. Mentioned my egg allergy as well and the staff were very attentive re. this from the start. Food was excellent.

We’ve been going to Cote now for about 12 years and it is always great value for money (EarlyBird) staff good and atmosphere lovely) , friendly and knowledgable.

As usual speedy and efficient service with a smile. Good tasty food for a reasonable price and we were finished in good time for our Theatre booking.Definitely recommend.

I keep coming back to Cote at Guildford at least once a month, sometimes more. I do this because the food, service and general friendliness of the restaurant is always excellent. The set menu’s offer great value, as does the rest of the menu. It’s great value for money as the quality of the cooking is never comprised by the reasonable pricing. This is my Cote as it also always has a god atmosphere.

As always, an excellent breakfast. The restaurant was extremely busy but the welcome was as warm as ever. The service was prompt and we didn’t have to wait very long for a delicious meal. We didn’t feel rushed despite the busyness.

Good service ...only thing I say be nice to have a separate knife for Jan on toast. Food very good .the cleaninest of toilet wasn't great

We know we will always get a very good meal at a very good price at Cote. We use Cote Guildford when we are going to the nearby theatre, so time is of the essence. Cote has never let us down.

We had another excellent dining experience at Cote Guildford. The food was great, we had a lovely bottle of wine and the service was as friendly and as efficient as it always seems to be.

Most enjoyable unhurried lunch for four . Tasty food and good service on a cold sleety Tuesday. Liked the Pork Tenderloin on the Prestige Menu in particular.

Very good service and food. Restaurant absolutely packed. Now serving Sancerre by the glass which really pleased my mum. Had the salmon starter followed by the steak. Both were superb.

It was a last minute decision to visit Côte Guildford. Our waiter was an Italian guy (sorry I should have asked your name) who was exceptional. Our food was a little slow to come out but he made it a great all round experience by giving us some coffees on the house at the end. This kind of service is rare in the UK to thank you!!

Great service, excellent food and lively ambience. Many of the staff seem authentically French which really helps you feel like you are in a proper French restaurant rather than a British chain. Very good experience

We had a very good experience with Côte Guildford. Our waitress was very attentive, smiley and chatty, making us feel very welcome. The food was very good. An overall great experience.

You cannot fault Cote for value for money and levels of service. I visit often for brunch and have the formule - it’s hard to beat!

The set menus are good value, and the ambience is pleasant, if a tad noisy. Clearly, Cote get few requests for variations to suit dietary needs, so be prepared to ask what's in each dish if you are sensitive. If, like me, you are 'dairy intolerant', forget the desserts!

Really enjoyed going to Cotes Guildford again. Always have a lovely welcome from the staff. They let us choose our favourite table, even though it needed to be laid. It was no trouble at all. Love the staff there

Arrived 20 minutes early but quickly shown to a good table by the window. Attentive and friendly service. French Onion soup and steak Frites as good as ever.

Visited Cote Guildford during a very busy lunch time. It was quite noisy but the service & food were both excellent. Will definitely visit again!

You as always provided us with everything we needed for a super lunch today. the service was good and the food tasty and good quality also catering for my Gluten free diet. Cote is like coming home every time I visit so warm and friendly thank you for providing such a lovely atmosphere very enjoyable

Went to Cotes Guildford with my husband again. Our favourite place for a lovely meal that doesn’t break the bank. Prestige menu was really lovely and service brilliant as always.

Service ,food and wine were all very good although the area at the rear where we were seated was noisy, sound seeming to echo round the room.

Aspiration is one thing..delivery is something else. Dinner before 19:00.A "French" bistro would not deliver moules without bread as an automatic accompaniment. Nor would they offer "crumble" aux pommes. Dessert choice was poor. Why no cheese? Chicken "Breton" was sparsely presented on the plate. Automatic gratuity of 12.5% was presumptive and left little option but to pay. Checking my reservation twice by email was close to being offensive. Will give serious consideration to whether or not we return.

Lovely evening here as always. Great food, great service, lovely white wine.! What’s not to like about Cotes Guildford. Will definitely be booking again soon

I always enjoy Cote, the food and service is excellent, with bright and cheerful staff serving the meals, the restaurant was particularly busy with pre Theatre Clients.

A perfect place for a delicious pre-theatre dins - whenever we go to see a play at the nearby theatre, we always go to Côte and we are always glad that we did!

As always in my experience, great service, quality and value. We tried the prestige menu this time. The salmon starter was excellent. Breton chicken to follow always good and rounded of by a bit of comfort food in the shape of a crumble and ice cream. The portion sizes in the prestige menu (and the other set menu) are perfect for three courses at lunchtime. Will be back again soon.

Shown to a quiet table (at my request) where most attentive service given by all waiting staff. Food excellent, as usual, and all done quickly as I had a theatre deadline. Well done Cote!

Pleasant as usual but too busy - was in my lunch hour and it took a while for food to arrive even tho I said I was in a hurry

Prompt service and food delivered quickly. Set menu Very good value too. Ambience was good. The only criticism I would have is that the fruit juices taste very watered down. Probably a cost cutting exercise but in future I will ask for no ice in my drink.

As usual, good food and service. Côte is always reliable for a good and not expensive meal with friends and family. Staff always friendly and accommodating
