Côte Guildford

We have been going to this restaurant for 10 years since it opened. It has never disappointed, the staff are always courteous and friendly and the food consistently at a high standard. We live very near so ideal especially after a nice bottle of wine!!? Thank you Cote. Lyn & Steve

There was confusion in the waiting staff as to what 'Vegan' meant. We were offered vegetarian food eg for desert, and had to explain that deserts with animal products such as egg, cream, milk... We're not suitable.

Very welcoming staff, pleasant lunch experience. Food excellent quality and value for money.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Only issue is that the service was great to begin with but after our mains were served, we had to wait a long time to order desserts, and even longer to get the bill. Unfortunately this seems to be an issue for them during busy times as it's happened on several occasions when visiting in recent months.

I thought that the service wasn't as good as it used to be. At one stage, the staff seemed to be more interested with photos on their phone. I would have stayed for dessert and coffee, but decided against it. Being very English, I don't particularly care for waiters to be in my face. Sorry

A superb lunch, thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish special and my wife loved the veal dish. As always the service is great without being OTT.

You made my daughter’s day- it’s her 11th birthday and she’s coeliac so often misses out on treats. Not only did she have a great choice of food but you made her feel special and gave her ice cream with a candle to sing happy birthday to.

We had a warm welcome on arrival, the meal was excellent and 5he service was great. I have used Cote many times for Supper and Breakfast and have never been disappointed. 😀

We went for the two course menu but didn't have time for the dessert course as we were going tot he theatre. We did tell the waiter this-but were disappointed to miss the dessert. The main courses were delicious and staff were friendly.

Today the service was speedy, the food delicious and the noise levels manageable. Our favourite dessert - iced berries with warm chocolate - sauce was superb. All amazing value and Cote is fast becoming a great family favourite.

Lovely. A home from home! Favourite is always the Prawn Gratinée!

It was my daughter’s 15th birthday and she had a wonderful time with friends. All staff were aware of her friend’s nut allergy. They were treated like royalty and felt very grown up. Can’t praise the staff highly enough. Plus the food was great!

Our ‘go to’ for breakfast whenever we visit Guildford. Subtle background music creates a warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The customer experience is consistent and to a very high standard. Service is professional and on point. The quality, cookery and presentation of the food exceptional. Excellent value for money.

This is my favourite restaurant for breakfast in Guildford! My friend and I both had the French toast, which is served with maple syrup and fresh fruit, I also had bacon as a side order with it. Absolutely scrummy! Lovely staff and great service. My only complaint is with the noise levels as some tables are just too close together.
