Another great evening at Cote. We all had steak - my weekend Special Steak frites was delicious and my 2 dining companions confirmed their fillet and sirloin were too. We were looked after very well too.

Cotes in Guildford always serves delicious food and the service is very good.

Six of us just had a fabulous full English breakfast at Cote Guildford. Andrea the waiter was really cheerful and helpful in working through the items available under their formula breakfast offering. The breakfast was well cooked and presented and great value for money.

Only thing missing was recognition of the event that we were celebrating that I put on the booking... No point asking if you dont acknowledge

Cote near the Guildford castle is a small but warm place. Food and service are both of high quality and we were attended by the waiter very well. Really enjoyed the dinning experience there.

Lovely food, reasonable prices, and good service. It is in a good location in Guildford, and felt more like an independent restaurant, than part of a chain.

We had a superb meal to celebrate our 60th. wedding anniversary today and enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine. The service was very good indeed and the meal good value.

Really enjoyed our meal and the opportunity to celebrate Cotes birthday. Atmosphere was the right mix of being relaxed and professional. Food was delicious.

My wife and I are fairly regular visitors to Cote and always find all the staff incredibly welcoming and very well Informed on their specials. Often offering recommendations. The atmosphere is always relaxed and enjoyable.

Disappointing. Had the Poulet rôti from the August specials and received a small Chicken supreme on some unseasoned gloopy pomme puree. The menu suggested artichoke and olives were in the dish which they were, however the artichoke turned out to be 4 small hard pieces which might once had come from an artichoke, but I rather suspect they came from a freezer, and there were 2 lonely olives.. Beans were also mentioned on the menu and half a dozen made it onto the plate. The chicken was overcooked to the extent that it was dry and tough, however it was improved by the bacon which enveloped it. Rôti, I believe, means roasted and the poor Chicken supreme had definitely been in an oven for a while. Overall I was a little underwhelmed. Cote seems to be a bit hit and miss these days. My last visit was good, the one before not so good and this time I was saddened to see portion sizes reduced and the standard of cooking similarly unimpressive. I'm sure I will be back in the future, however in the spirit of competition I will probably try other places first.

Great food as usual. Service as expected, an improvement on past experiences.

It's not our first visit to Côte and won't be our last. The good is generally good, and in the main sevres hot. The waiters are very attentive, I sometime find the manager a little moody, perhaps it's stress but it seems to be a growing culture in the food industry to be less than discrete when providing feedback to staff which I don't think they realise guest actually pick up on!

Fabulous meal. The best service , Andrea was a ledgend.

Such fabulous staff at Cote Brasserie Guildford! Excellent customer service! We had a teeny issue with our meal this time (which is rare - I know because we eat there often) but it was solved immediately without any fuss to our entire satisfaction and we all came away feeling happy and full.
