Great service and food. Really good when dealing with allergens and in particular my friends Gluten free options. Very impressed with the level of service and knowledge which added to the confidence to enjoy our food.

Lovely time. Treated so well by staff. Feels like a second home. Sea bass was delicious with lovely spinach and gratin potatoes. Love the atmosphere and the wine and the service! Always have such a lovely time in Côtes Guildford. Thanks

The plates were hot but the food Luke warm, the frites were awful, cold and limp and greasy

My son and I enjoyed a lovely lunch yesterday. I had a light meal option of Mushroom and spinach crepes with a gruyere sauce which was delicious. My son chose the three course set menu and enjoyed french onion soup, chicken and an apple crumble. Service was good to begin with but did tail off towards the end when I had to keep looking to get the attention of our waiter. I did not check my bill! I think this was a mistake as I seem to have been charged for a dessert that should have been included in the three course set menu. I have tried to contact the restaurant but the phone keeps disconnecting. Essentially, food lovely, setting good but check you bill.

Wonderful warm welcome from Manageress and staff whom we had not seen for several years having moved from Guildford.

A truly enjoyable experience. Friendly service and very good food. No wonder the place is always busy. I'm a Coeliac and the care they take is second to none, some other brand restaurants offer gluten alternatives to some dishes (with the emphasis on some dishes). Cote have a very good gluten free menu that would meet all tastes and I always enjoy going there with no concerns as to their knowledge on ingredients and cross contamination.

Very busy and noisy - tables too close together and no cushions available - I am small and was very uncomfortable eating in the wrong position - not an enjoyable experience at all

I’d advised the restaurant when booking that there was a vegan in the party. I ordered the Puy Lentil main. The waiter returned saying it wasn’t available, my only alternative was the bean risotto. Unbelievably this was also unavailable! The chef did make a vegan mushroom risotto. It was ok but my overall experience was incredibly disappointing and We’ll not be returning.

I love how friendly the staff are and they made my kids feel really welcome. Brunch fantastic dad always.

Very busy & crowded but our table was ready when we arrived. Smack bang in the middle of the first part of the restaurant near the door. Good waiter service, food good, I'd say my blue steak was more rare than blue so a tiny bit disappointing. Waiters very quick to serve then clear up I felt a bit rushed to be honest but over all a good evening.

Unusually our main course was very much below standard.We had the September special which was sole menieure ,it was cooked in far to much butter, which was far too greasy and took away the taste of the fishwe would not wish to order this dish again.

It is always an enjoyable and pleasurable time dining at Cote. The food is first rate, the ambience is delightful. All the staff make you feel welcome, just like being one of the family.

Lovely food and good service but tables too close together and noise levels exceedingly high. Difficult to hold a close conversation with a friend without resorting to raising ones voice.

Perfect pre theatre meal. Food excellent and tasty. Service quick, polite and efficient.

Overall, we had an enjoyable evening. The service was both prompt and attentive. My only gripe is the impression you give that the 12.5% gratuity is optional. Including on the bill, and then pre-populating into the POS machine when taking payment, hardly gives the impression of optional. It feels like you are embarrassing the customer into asking to amend any payment down, based on their experience, and will. And this is from someone who would gladly pay the service charge.
