Table as requested, good service, enjoyable lunch overall. Annoyingly although we had booked complementary martini's and they were provided and we alll had a la carte menu. THE MARTINI'S WERE ON THE BILL. I mention this because it is the second time running this has happened. COTE please take note an please address.

A lovely lunch! My best friend and I were celebrating her 30th and it was such a great meal, atmosphere and service!

Staff very friendly & helpful, as we asked to move as did another couple due to noisy crying children. But we were moved within minutes with out any problems

Another pleasant lunch experience. Only marred by inedible leek starter that was hastily replaced by a choice from the a la carte menu and compensated for by a complimentary coffee.

It's usually difficult to find a pleasant place to have lunch in the run-up to Yuletide, but booking with Cote made it a surprisingly easy experience this time around...and the noise levels were not that bad under the circumstances.

Even when they are busy (most of the time) there service is always fast, efficient and friendly. Our favourite restaurant in Guildford. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food and staff really good but as there was a large party group next to us who were so noisy enjoying themselves, we could only shout at each other which was a shame. We didn’t want to spoil anyone’s evening of course, so the manager, being concerned and wanting us to have a good experience, moved us to a quieter area and offered us complimentary desserts. A good solution in the circumstances.

I like the food but I think the portions for the price are far too small. Over recent years it’s got quite expensive too.

My favourite meeting place for lunch in Guildford. Reliable fare and attentive serving staff. New set menu each month makes dining here more interesting.

In terms of consistency for food quality and choice, Cote takes some beating. Moreover, the set menu is another reason for coming back time and again.

A regular haunt thanks to a unique combination of tasty food and pleasant ambience. Sometimes difficult to find a quiet corner though, on account of its popularity.

Excellent overall experience apart from very limited dairy-free starter options

As always, lovely meal, value for money, excellent service. What's not to love.

Before we go to the theatre, our friends, family and relatives all want to go to Cote for a meal. No matter which season the food is always fresh, delicious and cooked exactly as we ask for it. There are some Cote staples which are always on the menu but they also ring the seasonal changes. The set menus are superb value for money and are to be recommended. There is a limited choice but we can normally find something we like. However, if there is nothing on there which takes your fancy there is also the extensive A La Carte menu with even more choice. The staff are all excellent with the one goal to satisfy the customer. A 2 course luch for 4 including drinks and tip came to just over £100. The food was outstanding and we went to the theatre replete.

Food was not up to standard I had sea bream from the set menu very over cooked I had to send it back second one, not a lot better, overall very disappointed.

The food was first class food and service prompt and attentive.

Amazing staff & Great food tonite, it was my wife’s birthday & they couldn’t do enough for us all, creating a great atmosphere, they served our birthday cake and all sang happy birthday with us. FAB!

A wonderful menu, lots of choice. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly, cheerful and attentive without being intrusive. In fact the staff really were as fantastic as the food!

Lunch for three of us this afternoon was not only very good, but enhanced by good but not over-attentive service. It is no wonder that I keep using this chain in various places.

Cote Guildford is our very favourite restaurant. We had a meal last Thursday when the restaurant was very full but managed to get a table for two without booking. We visited again on Saturday and were seated in the front of restaurant, our chosen place to sit. Unfortunately our waiter seemed very pushy trying to sell olives etc. The worst thing was that the waiter was also very hurried whenever he came to our table and also extremely reluctant to come to do our bill and also we saw he was the same with two other tables.. This is the first time we had ever felt rushed and a bit unwelcome. What a shame, and this experience would make us think twice in the future about sitting in our favourite place in our favourite restaurant.

Food is always of a high standard. The service is quick. The staff are helpful and friendly. We’ve been to many Cote’s, this is the best.

Wonderful first experience of dining at Côte and could not be better. Our water Tom was very attentive and professional as were all the staff we talked to and dealt with. The food was delicious. We look forward to coming to Côte again.

Lovely restaurant but SO noisy! I know it’s not trendy, but you really should consider having carpets/curtains/soft furnishings to soak up the noise.
