Lovely friendly greeting, great prompt service, only problem was noisy couple two tables away.

Lovely staff. Friendly and very efficient. Food was good. Duck not up to usual standard but ok. Crepe was amazing.

Another very good meal at Cote, Guildford. As always, the service was excellent, attentive, friendly but never intrusive, and very good value for money.

Lovely food, however it was very busy and we waited a long time for pudding and ended up having to cancel the tea’s as it was taking too long.

We had a lovely dinner with my family for my 25th wedding anniversary even tho there was a big rain and very windy outside. Food and service was amazing, we want to say thank you to Kate for a warm welcome. Everything was amazing. Thank you

Our breakfast was excellent. I had the full English and every part of it was delicious, especially the mushrooms. Good value too.

Pretty mediocre, nothing special. Nice location, nice decor. The girl serving was pleasant enough. My wife enjoyed her food, I found my steak dry, the accompanying salad was floppy and sad looking. Creamed spinach was bland. Desert was ok. Nothing memorable. It seemed expensive for what it was, I was surprised by the service charge...

Always excellent. Guildford Cote is our favourite Cote . Staff attentive/lovely atmosphere - food-as with all branches- consistently good. No complaints!

We enjoyed our visit very much. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant was very busy and a bit noisy as a result but could not be helped.

Early evening on Valentine's Day, so you might expect it to be busy ( which it was) and service to be slow (which it definitely wasn't). Service was really quick, but still attentive, as it always is. Really amazed. Even the early evening (pre-theatre) menu was on offer at the usual discounted price, which is exactly what we hoped for, as we only wanted a light meal. Well done Cote!!

Nice food and wines. However it was a bit loud which was a not that great vor Valentine's Day.

Always great. Atmosphere, service and gorgeous food. My favourite restaurant in Guildford (sorry Ivy!) . The sea bass last night was really excellent. Thanks for a fantastic evening. By the way, I’m not a sweet tooth BUT: as you’re chocolate pots are the only dessert I ever eat please don’t take them off the menu.

Good service and good food although staff could have been a bit more observant when the wine glasses were running low we had to keep asking staff to top up the glasses also the complimentary cocktails were added to the bill which we had to ask to be taken off but all in all a very nice evening

I had the most amazing valentines dinner with my sons. The atmosphere was lovely and service was beyond great! Food was sooo delicious!

We were a little disappointed in the choices on the early evening menu, compared with previous visits.

I normally rate Cote Guildford very highly (great menu choices, good value for money, good service) but last night's visit definitely a bit below par for a few reasons. My husband had the sea bass main course and it had obviously hung around under the heat for a while as it was very dry. The Sancerre wine offering was not at all good (didn't really taste like Sancerre at all, certainly not dry enough) and we drink a lot of Sancerre so can tell a decent one from not. Service was also a bit hit and miss, kept forgetting to bring things we had requested.

Noisy. Food and service as good as ever but we changed tables due to the din which name little difference. Could not really hear one another. Hard resonant surfaces and open plan design ! Sat in the middle by main walkway

I had a set menu choice but this time I was disappointed. The lamb rillettes was too dry (even though I could see the solid fat) and didn't taste very good, it needed some kind of chutney on the side and my Poulet Grillé was too dry too.

Food was good but a little overpriced. The restaurant was incredibly noisy.

We enjoyed our meal however I had to return my steak as it wasn't hot. The manager was very attentive and apologized and gave me a new steak.

Fabulous as always. Our restaurant of choice in Guildford. First class.
