Excellent as always, we've never been disappointed at Cote Guildford. A pleasant welcome, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was delightful. We'll be back.

Great atmosphere yummy food and good service despite restaurant being packed. One of the best places to eat in Guildford. Reasonable prices and the wine we chose a Bordeaux was very drinkable. A place to linger over a meal as unlike some no shutting the doors at 3 pm!

Lovely food and service as usual at Cote Guildford, we were having a pre theatre meal. The mussels were delicious, the chicken a good, tasty portion. My husband had the white bait and it was very good, freshly cooked, then the sea bream which was beautifully presented and cooked but he wasn't that keen on the beans with it. The creme caramel and the crumble we're both excellent.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Service was just right. Busy even for a Tuesday so recommend you book in advance whatever day of the week.

I visit Cotê regularly and the breakfast menu is very good. The waiter forgot about my coffee, and I had to question why scrambled eggs or crocque monsieur are not considered a cooked breakfast, something I didn't pay attention to before.

Cote Guildford is just so consistent in quality of food and service - we will continue to regularly use - it is really amazing value.

Super service, tasty food. Very busy Saturday evening so quite noisy- a table full of young women were a bit screechy and loud but peace reigned after they left! A lovely meal and a good experience

It is always a good experience eating at Cote in Guildford. We think it is one of the best Cote restaurants, with a nice ambience, friendly staff and good food.

Delightful experience - busy atmosphere, food came promptly, very tasty. Only criticism was that the section we were in was very noisy, due to no carpet to absorb the sound.

Nice food and great service. Well situated just off the high street - perfect for shopping and lunch. Draft beer (to add to the 25cl bottles) would be a good option to add.

An enjoyable meal we had terrine and whitebait for starters, which we all enjoyed. For mains my friend had salad nicoise which was beautifully presented and tasted lovely, another friend had linguine and two of us had hunters chicken. All arrived piping hot and were very tasty

My favourite Guildford restaurant! I highly recommend Côte. Good service and above all excellent food. I would certainly recommend this as a great place to eat.

Excellent value for money and good efficient service for a pre theatre meal. It is great that the set menu changes every month but thank goodness the dark chocolate pot is always there!

The food was good although a change of menu would make it a little more interesting. I was disappointed not to be able to have the linguine from the 'early' menu (I was quite happy to pay extra for it and it was only just past 7pm but apparently by then no longer available). The service was a little 'disinterested'. We've generally had very good experiences at this restaurant but this time it wasn't quite up to the usual standard. My husband settled the bill and had just had eye surgery, which was fairly obvious from his appearance, but this did not stop the server from suggesting to him that he did not need to add a tip as one had already been added! We did not spot this until the next day but fortunately when we telephoned the restaurant they were able to refund back to our card. After this visit we will probably try a different restaurant next time we visit Guildford.

Ambience staff and food all top notch had a very nice evening. Got charged for bottle of wine that should have been on the house and charged service charge asked for both to be remixed and they were no questions asked.

The food was excellent, best breakfast out in a long time. The service was also great. I will definitely be going back! Would recommend to a friend
