Côte Guildford

We had an excellent meal at Cote. The goats cheese and crab starters were delicious ,as was the cote de boeuf which we shared. The service is always friendly and efficient

Good service, very good food, The calamari was excellent as was the steak frite. We didn't have dessert as is was very noisy in our part of the restaurant. Very good value for money for the set menu.

Staff are very friendly and regularly checking on their customers. Food was very delicious and lots of different choices of food to choose from and a variety of menus.

Service was brilliant. Friendly waiting staff. The food was fabulous. We had a lovely evening. And they had acted in my request for a window seat when I booked on line.

Excellent value and good location. Excellent service as always. The early menu is very good value at just over £10 for two courses. Recommend the chain and this branch in particular.

Excellent meal. Scallops were cooked to perfection in a delicious jus. Great selection of mains, again beautifully cooked - my roast chicken was succulent and my guest enjoyed the veal escalope. Service was very welcoming and friendly.

Excellent hot food and friendly efficient service. I would highly recommend the guildford cote for breakfast and other courses. Furthermore it has a charming setting near the castle.

Had my birthday breakfast there this morning. It was wonderful. Excellent service and very tasty. I enjoy it every time we go and we are well looked after.

Found my experiencevery disappointing today. The girl who served us was not particularly helpful and most impatient with us. We took a few minutes to decide what drinks we wanted and judging by her face she was not impressed. I did not see the face she pulled as I had my back to her, but my friend opposite me certainly did. I also found my breakfast not very hot especially my grilled tomatoes which were cold in the centre. I would normally have complained but I found your waitress quite intimidating. I have been to Cote's many times and have found service good but will certainly think twice about coming again.

The restaurant was busy and buzzing but service was quick and efficient. Food was excellent from starter to dessert. However,the whole experience seemed rather rushed and hectic and was over too soon. Would not go back on a Saturday evening.

Perfect for lunch when shopping in Guildford. Not too busy the day we went and the service and food were very good. Children's menu a little limited so we ended up ordering from the adult menu.

Cote in Guildford is always constantly good and reliable. All the staff are efficient and the service very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was particularly exceptional for a busy Saturday, well presented and hot. The service is always excellent 😀 Guildford Cote is definitely my favourite in our locality.

Good service and great food. Lots of choice for everyone a bit on the pricey side but it's worth it for the value. Happy to recommend

All the Cote restaurants that I have been to are of a very consistent good standard and the staff are well trained. They all, although many hadn't served us, thanked us for our custom and said good night as we left.

Excellent service, great food. The wine was a little disappointing but we can't fault anyone for that. And the chocolate pot at the end was - as usual - the perfect finish to the meal.

Pleasantstaff. Good ambience and a nice lunch. Also the was very good value and easily affordable. No parking but many parking areas within walking distance.

Everything about the evening was positive. The food, the wine and the service. Cote hardly ever disappoints. It is just a shame they have this practice of adding 12.5%. They should leave it to the customer. Even though they say you can ask them to leave it off, they are still making an assumption.

Although the brasserie was rammed on a Saturday night, the service was 'a point' and the courses were promptly serviced and tasted great. The only quibble was portion size for the beef Bourguignon. Loved the creme caramel! Cheers, Chris

Excellently served by our Rumanian waiter our meals were just what we wanted before our visit to the Theatre. 1 of our party of 4 was held up in traffic, and we had to start before she came. 3 people ordered the Steak frites which came immediately

I'm all for atmosphere, but the table next to us was overly rowdy.....stag party vibes! Could barely hear myself think. Also my food was a little cold, although it was still delicious.

Excellent food and service, the menu is very varied, something for everyone, the poulet Breton with choice of sauces was very good, we enjoyed it very much.

I attended with a friend. We both had steaks. Mine was tough but was replaced. The staff and management we very good and went out of their way to make sure our visit went well. Well done Côte Guildford. We will be back.

Enjoyable evening, service was generally good, although it was busy, so at times slightly slow. Food was very good indeed, as was wine. Staff are very professional, although a little more interaction/communication could work.

Food and waiting staff were both wonderful, however as a lot of the tables are quite close together and the restaurant was quite full when I visited, it was very noisy, so quite difficult to have a conversation with my guest at times.

Very busy as it was Mother's Day but food and service still very good. Had to wait a few minutes for a table as it was so busy but that was ok

At 1.30 on a very busy Mother's Day the service was superb and the Todd good as always. Cote is still the best chain in the U.K.by a country mile.

Very enjoyable meal, we started with G & T's all round, followed with our complementary bottle of wine and ate three courses. The complementary wine was of a decent standard. All of us were very haopy with our choices.

Lovely welcoming staff. The portion sizes in Côte are always very generous so left feeling pretty full. I went for the fried egg and bacon crepes, However my food was only slightly warm which was disappointing and my eggs were ridiculously over cooked. It tasted great it was just a shame about everything else.

Booking was very easy on line. Despite being very busy we were shown straight to our table on arrival. We were served promptly without being rushed. Food and service as always was first class. See you again soon.

Really nice place to go for a more affordable set dinner menu. 3 courses for 12.99 was a great option and they offer a wide variety of food for every taste. Friendly service also helped make the night very enjoyable.

Our visit prior to the Theatre was excellent, as it was at Christmas. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The duck was good but a little underdone. We enjoyed the free bottle of Cote du Rhone. Thank you

As always delicious food and great service. It was a lovely treat to have th complimentary kir royal as it was my birthday. My fillet steak with garlic butter and dauphinois potatoes was perfect. My husband enjoyed duck breast too.

Having been before we were not disappointed. Very friendly and attentive service. Plenty of time to study the menu. Several menu options to choose from. Lastly, the food was excellent.

The staff were great. The room would benefit from some soft furnishings to reduce the noise. Having requested a table away from the front door due to previous experience of drafts, we were offered a table in the back room. I didn't notice it was next to a fire escape door, which, unfortunately, was frequently opened by the wind. Easy to close, by me, as no staff appeared to notice! Hey, I'll not sit at that table next time, but will be back anyway.

Went on Mother's Day and had a great meal with great service. Kids were also well provided for with a good kids menu. Would definitely recommend
