Nice food, delivered quickly. Good value from the set menu. Only suggestion is to space the tables a bit better so you're not so much in the thoroughfare.

Good food and atmosphere was great. Only reason it is not a 6 was that initial service was a bit slow but small niggle on a great evening

Fabulous time - great food and great service. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate mousse - will definitely recommend this! The atmosphere is very good too.

A lovely meal with a good gluten free selection, but very noisy in the restaurant, table of ten right next to us so difficult to catch up with the friend we were meeting.

Booking was very quick and simple. Best seats in the restaurant quiet corner with comfy seats. Food was great especially the pork belly and service good too.

Excellent as usual , very busy but friendly service . Nice large pot of Earl Grey tea with hot french toast is a good way to start Sunday morning

This was our first visit to "Cote" in Guildford. An excellent restaurant with mouth-watering food and wonderful staff. A trifle noisy perhaps, but that's hard to avoid in a popular restaurant We shall certainly be returning!

Excellent dinner for our office party. The food was really good and the wine was great. The person who served us had a great sense of humour and provided exemplary service.

The staff always make one feel at ease and welcome, nothing I have found, is too much trouble for them. The food is always excellent and the wine also. A truly enjoyable ambience.

Excellent, friendly service as usual - the longest wait was for the bill. And the first day of the new menu went well. The only thing we don't like is the12% service charge, as we prefer to leave our tip in cash.

Good food, good service,good price. A very good place to go for a pre theatre meal. Waiter was really friendly and efficient. Food arrived promptly but we never felt rushed.

Very busy so the service suffered a little. But overall a solid eating experience - good food, good ambiance, friendly staff. Steak Frites is always a decent choice.

service was very slow and the promised free bottle of wine was more trouble than it was worth. Manageress was impatient and having agreed that I was entitled to the wine then got grumpy. not typical and not pleasant - a real disappointment from usually excellent Cote.

I have been going to Cote in Guildford for a number of years now, and have always received reliably good service. The food is delicious and good value for money.

Was very busy and noisy. Service was slow especially taking drink and menu order. One meal was a very small portion indeed and the mushroom main meal was sloppy and wet. not as good as normal.

Really lovely meal, delicious food and very accommodating staff who took into account any requirements/needs and made our anniversary very special. Only criticism would be the olives were not up to scratch, but still a great evening.

Apart from a slight initial delay in finding a suitable table, service was just the right balance of attentive and discreet. Selections from lunch menu were excellent as usual. Perfect Egg Florentine and magnificent moules.

Completely brilliant, but then it always is. There are dozens of other restaurants in Guildford that I'd love to try, but we always default to Cote. Their French onion soup was as good as anything you'd get in Montmartre!

Good location, lovely room, tasty breakfast marked down for being a little cold. Parking in pay and display behind hotel is cheaper than in hotel

Booked well in advance with a reward offer, ie guest eats free, which was confirmed when we arrived. However when the bill came they had not deducted the free meal so had to then wait for the bill to be revised, bit embarrassing....

The service was excellent with courteous and helpful waiters, the food was delicious and elegantly presented on the plate. We chose dishes from the special lunchtime menu which we agreed was very good value. I'm looking forward to my next meal at Cote! Thank you Cote at Guildford!
