Côte Guildford

Very nice food - we ate from the daily set menu. The place has a real buzz and the service staff are exceptional. Feels more like a proper French bistro than other chains.

Great Restaurant !! We eat weekly and it is always very good. Great value for money and service is exceptional and always friendly. Location is very good as we park on the High Street.

I met a friend at Cote for lunch: the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was very good and we didn't have to wait long between courses. The atmosphere was good but it was a bit noisy for a chat. I expect this was because it was so near to Christmas.

Food was very good and great choice. Our waitress looked after us very well - all in all a great evening was had by our party. Thank you.

Good, efficient service and as we were eating fairly early in the evening the restaurant was quiet enough to have a proper conversation. Lovely French apple tart.

Always enjoy Cote.... great menu, pleasant staff, busy atmosphere but never rushed. Try the creme caramel and French onion soup .... so good you won't be disappointed.

The breakfast was lovely, delicious coffee and every single member of staff was very friendly. There is a great vibe amongst the staff. This is the best Cote I have been too 😊

Great restaurant in the centre of Guildford. Staff always accommodating and the food always of a good standard. My daughter has various food allergies and we have no problems dining here as the kitchen on every occasion accommodate her. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great service, unfortunately we were running late due to an accident and we were going to the theatre, so we didn't have long. Can't wait to go back for a more leisurely meal.

Service and staff were fine. Food was pretty good but my brother's steak had a little too much connective tissue. A very nice red wine.

Really accommodating with our daughter in a pram. Quick food delivery and what excellent food it was and always is at Côte. Lovely waitress had a cuddle with my daughter so I could eat my food :)

What a lovely bunch of people at Cote in Guildford ! This is our 'go to' place whenever meeting up with friends as you can absolutely rely on great food and fantastic service. They always make every effort to put us at the table we request. Admittedly this last time that meant we were near a very large and noisy group but hey, it is Xmas so almost to be expected. And it in no way detracted from the overall experience. Thanks again !

Good service despite it being the festive season. We chose our meal from the set menu. Good selection of food which all came to the table at the same time always a plus! Good ambiance in the Brasserie will definitely return. Thank you

We were a large Christmas party, w were given the area/table we requested and looked after very well. The waiters were very attentive and made everything easy for us. Even gave us name cards with our pre-orders on! Only thing negative was the actual food, it was a bit bland for what we would have expected. The salmon had some green beans and potatoes but nothing more. All the dishes were 3 ingredients on a plate etc.. we would return, but not unless there was more inventive menu for next year.

Have been here several times before, but tonight the staff were slow to take our order and the portions of food were small. My mushroom brioche consisted of 1 slice of brioche and 1 chopped mushroom. The steak was served with no garnish at all. However the creme caramel was excellent. Also 12.5% service was automatically added to the bill. The service was not worth that.

At this very busy time service and food just as good as usuall well done.we will be returning in new year.happy Christmas to all,,and a busy new year

We enjoyed our meal at Cote Brasserie in Guildford. The service was excellent even though it was during the busy Christmas period & the food was good.

As usual we received amazing service and delicious food that I could not fault! The restaurant was very busy which shows how amazing and popular Coté is!

My friends and I chose dishes from the three course menu. I chose moule as my starter, but I made the wrong choice. The mussels were tasteless and disappointing, as I mentioned at the time. The cream sauce was pleasant, but the seasoning needs improvement, and the leeks needed to be cooked for longer.

Lovely food and great service. Restaurant rather loud though as tables quite close to each other. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Would visit again in the future

Amazing as always, the servers are so brilliant and quick to respond. I never have anything bad to say about Côte, most definitely my favourite place to eat in Guildford

Service was swift and obliging despite the crowded restaurant. Only criticism was the steak I ordered was gristly although the vegetables were well preparedThe dessert was up to the usual standard of Côte.

Food and service is always so consistent from Côte. And always tasty My coeliac friend is also very impressed by the menu range and the care they go to to ensure there is no cross contamination and that diners are accurately advised what they can safely have.

Great atmosphere, they always have a tag with my meal (Gluten Free) tap water is always provided as standard policy, Gluten free bread provided when aordered It is my favourite Cote and eat there regularly a great experience with deals that are incredible

As usual the service was quick and personable the variety of food really good and as always served hot and with a smile All the staff are well trained and say hello and goodbye

Sat by the door too cold with people coming in and out especially when queuing with the door open . Fast service but had to chase to pay the bill with a machine

Excellent food and service, as we have come to expect. Our server sounded at times a little too keen to get us to add extras, but that's entirely understandable. I appreciated that we are asked whether we were happy for the gratuity to be included in the bill, which we were. I don't recall being asked this before.

Ideal location for a relaxing lunch during a shopping expedition in Guildford. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and the food excellent with timely service. An enjoyable experience.

Good French Cuisine in a friendly ambience. Child friendly reminiscent of continental restaurants in France, Italy and Spain. Would recommend the early bird menu when with children.

Very busy and noisy. Salmon meal dry but chicken was tasty. Object to service charge being automatically added to the bill. A tip was paid but not what you are asking. Service wasn’t that good! You also had no green tea. Be careful you don’t overprice yourselves.
