Staff delightful. Food hot. All good. Very nice welcome from the manager and all staff very attentive. Would go again and would recommend to friends and family.

Very enjoyable early evening meal with good service. The fixed priced menu was perfect before the theatre. 2 courses for £11.50 or 3 courses for £13.50 had a good choice and well sized portions. Perfect evening.

Cote in Guildford is a popular restaurant. All staff are friendly and happy. The food is always good and served with a smile, nothing is too much trouble, just ask. Its now become a regular haunt for me with my friends and family.

Food is great at amazing value! We had the early evening menu which was 3 courses for 13.50, the taste and quality of the food was superb with very friendly staff

It was all good. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was well prepared / cooked from good quality ingredients, the wine was also good quality and served at the right temperature.

It was my birthday and we had such a lovely evening, Eve the assistant manager as akways made us so welcome and ensured we had a great evening, delicious cuisine as always beautifully presented.

Had a lovely meal as always with a friend who had never been before. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely go again

Staff were charming especially as one of our party was very late arriving. Food too was delicious, we had the two course meal. We would definitely visit again.

Very nice lunch today at Cote Guildford. Staff friendly and service very helpful and quick. Nice bottle of Fleurie. My belly pork could have been crisper on the crackling hence 5 out of 6. Otherwise perfect.

Good wholesome food served quickly by very efficient and pleasant staff. It’s a while since we’d been to Cote.and it exceeded our expectations. Not a gourmet feast but a jolly good meal to match the best home cooking.

Excellent meals and good atmosphere, served by attentive and friendly staff. The only concern I have is that a 12.5 % discretionary service charge is added automatically, I understand for large parties, but when only three people!, but maybe this is the norm now.

A recent visit to Cote Guildford as ever gave us good food service and value. Daytime fixed price menu always offers ample choice which creates a dilemma as to which to try this visit.

Made very welcome. Food on the whole was excellent. Only disappointment was my side of beans which were over cooked and a bit tasteless. But didn’t spoil our special evening.

I enjoyed a lovely family meal for four at Côte Guildford. The ambience was buzzing and the service very quick (Friday evening). Two of our family can have particular tastes, but there was something on the menu for all of us (we all had 3 courses each). Can't wait to go back.

Food excellent, waitress charming, but very slow service as the restaurant was heaving and the staff were really stretched. Still the best creme caramel ever.

Lovely meal, but service wasn't as attentive as usual - there was a large group in the restaurant so we were left for long periods waiting for orders to be taken (main and dessert). Disappointing as usually one of the better Cote restaurants.

Had to return starter as leeks on the menu could not be eaten as they were so stringy and tuff Meal was replaced however it spoiled the outing.

As always friendly reception at Côte and good service. The menu covers all options, and no doubt Côte is the best chain restaurant group in the U.K.

Excellent breakfast and very good value. We were served quickly and our order arrived after very little wait. We ordered the breakfast formulae which include full English breakfast juice and Hot drink all for just over £10.

As usual, a delicious brunch and faultless and friendly service! Can I strongly recommend the vegetarian breakfast with a pork sausage?! Great value for money too..

Cote is a good value popular restaurant with a French flavour. Set meals offer a reasonable price 2-3 course meal. A 12.5% Service charge is added to the bill. Tables are quite small but Service is good. Can be fairly noisy when busy. Booking advisable even at lunch times.

Great service and excellent food. Service was sufficiently attentive without being too annoying. Service was quick despite the restaurant being busy, but as a result it was very noisy. Food was all cooked well and as expected. Will definitely visit again.

Very good, have returned time again,never disappoints (apart from last summer when they took the French Onion Soup off the menu. Now firmly reinstated!) Just a little expensive.

Great food and great service. Waiter could not have been better. We would thoroughly recommend. The Breton fish stew was sublime. The lamb was melt in your mouth.

The experience eating at Cote Guildford was exceptional. We received a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The offerings on the menu were excellent. The food was very good and the service, as normal, was efficient and unobtrusive. If there was one little niggle, it was the amount of time taken to deliver the various courses. In the end, the wait was worth it.

Today I had a birthday lunch with husband and two dear friends. It was so enjoyable as we all really though the food was delicious. Service was also very good and we were not kept waiting between courses. Our second visit to Cote this week but both Esher and Guildford did not disappoint.

We were disappointed with our meal last night. The food was not served up to standard, one side of vegetables were overcooked & 2 orders were incorrect. It will take a lot to win our trust back again.

Wonderful service, wonderful food. The restaurant looked very nice as well, wasn't too packed even if it was a Friday evening. Perfect birthday celebration with somw very nice sauvignon blanc!

Guildford Cote is my favourite restaurant in Guildford. A place you just have to try. Service always is impeccable and the food absolutely excellent. Go try it!

Spent a lovely evening in Cote for New years eve, the set menu was as excellent and the service even better than last year. Such a high standard of service for a main stream restaurant and the ambience just perfect.I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Superb service and great food. Five of us went there for New Year's Day breakfast/brunch and it was a perfect start to 2018. My only criticism (and it's a tiny one) is that they are over generous with the Hollondaise Sauce which was spread liberally over anything that it came with Luckily I asked for mine on the side, but my daughter was not so lucky. We will definitely go back again, though.

Very attentive service, a minor problem with the starter was dealt with immediately and more than compensated. Main courses (Sea Bass & Salad Nicoise) were excellent

Lovely meal, attentive service, great lie royal . Restaurant was really quiet at three in the afternoon which was great. Very good staff and food.
