Food delicious BUT V noisy so could hardly hear person I was with First drink came in a cracked wine glass, we had to send back Asked for mustard that never came It was busy and high turnover as lunchtime. If only they could make it quieter with noise reduction baffles or something!!!

Brilliant restaurant and excellent service . Lovely breakfasts. Highly recommend. Been for dinner too and just as fabulous cannot wait to return in the near future

We had a lovely time at Cote Guildford. Our table met our requirements for a piece and quite surroundings. Very friendly and efficient service. The food was delicious. Presentation was impressive.

A very comfortable restaurant with very good service and delicious food. I had duck and it was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavour. The chocolate ice cream was also delicious.

Reserved table, slightly late, rang and said we had been held up, no probs. Order went through smoothly, rabbit cottage pie with fresh cooked carrots was delicious. All very professional and friendly.

The food, service and location are all great. My favourite place in Guildford, however it was warm today and air conditioning was not very effective.

Cote Guildford is always friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The staff are professional and attentive. The atmosphere is buzzy with a sense of occasion. Always a very relaxed and great experience. Would highly recommend it.

Had the complimentary gin and tonic cocktail followed by a great meal with all our guests having good choices from the main menu with prompt and very courteous service by Romeo. A very good start to a lovely evening.

A delicious lunch with excellent service, friendly but not intrusive. One of my favourite places to eat. Good value and reliable . We have eaten there very often and never been disappointed.

My mum and I had a really good experience here. We had delcious high quality food. The food is excellent value for money too. The service was also really good and staff were attentive. It was only our waitresses fourth day and she did a really good job. We always come back to cote and I’m sure we’ll back again soon.

Brilliant service, atmosphere and food as always. Perfect for dinner after a day of shopping in Guildford. Would definitely recommend the crab mayonnaise and sea bass!

Once again Cote managed to deliver on their quality of service and food. A member of our group has several food intolerances and Cote were able to accommodate her without any problems.

Breakfast good service always excellent. If any comment fruit on my French toast was near to turning and could have been fresher but didn’t bother to say anything and ate it

We were waited on by Romeo who was very attentive and gave us excellent service. He recommended the specials to us and we chose the tiger prawn starter which was delicious. It was my wife’s birthday and several staff came and sang happy birthday. We also had a nice chat with the manager who was very engaging.

Delicious food and great service as always. We were a big group and still the service was really efficient. The calamari and crab were really good.

Saturday and Sunday brunch lasts till 1pm. Great value and lovely food. As well as the meal you get a hot drink and a juice for £10.50. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff.

My main course had to be sent back because it wasn't cooked throughly - the breadcrumb and cheese topping on my rabbit dish were raw rather than crisp. cooked and melted. No offer made about my partners meal being kept warm while I waited so some 15-18 minutes later she had finished by the time mine reappeared! My replacement meal was not much better than the first attempt, still lukewarm and in my opinion not fully cooked. Was given a full refund of my meal but really didn't make up for the experience. Being offered refunds, vouchers for next visit etc isn't really the way to run a successful dining business but seems to be quite routine to both myself, family and friends when visiting Cote at whatever location.

The service and the food were great! But My Oh My is it noisy in there!!! They should install the same sound dick on the ceiling they have at March Hare in Guildford.

As always we were very pleased to have lunch at Cote ,food excellent ,service fine although very busy .the Guildford branch is one of the bst restaurants in the group

We had an excellent meal with a friendly welcome and service. The food quality at Cote is consistently good, and we are happy to keep returning.

We went for lunch on Sunday at Cote in Guildford. The restaurant was very busy so booking (through Quandoo) is definitely recommended. We were given a quiet table at the back, which suited us well. The service was excellent, the waiting staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We both had the burger from the specials menu. The meat was cooked perfectly, as was the bacon. I love the mini gherkins that accompany the meal, and the chips were excellent. A lot of restaurants don't seem to cook chips well, but Cote's chips are perfect, light and crispy. The only slight complaint was that the cheese on the burger (which we had to pay extra for) was a little sparse and it took a while to get the bill. We are regulars at Cote and highly recommend it for brunch, lunch or dinner!

Lovely restaurant and extremely good service all evening. Great menu choices for both food and drinks. The summer special cocktails are fabulous. Highly recommended - thank you Cote.

Fantastic service. Great food. Lovely atmosphere. All of the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. We weren't rushed and all of our questions regarding the menu and wine were answered with good knowledge. This was my first experience of Cote, I will certainly be coming back.

As ever, an excellent lunch. Friendly and efficient staff, cosy setting and wonderful food. One of our favourite branches of Cote. We look forward to returning soon.

The food and service were absolutely excellent. It was quite noisey due to the crowded restaurant, which keeps my grade just shy of the full marks.

All seven of us had really good food, good atmoshere and the waiter was great. Altogether it was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all. Especially my wife who's birthday meal it was!

It is as always exactly what we expect, pleasant service - just a bit too noisy - the meals are absolutely fine for the price and the selection is good - its a shame its just not conducive for seating for longer

Excellent food and on the whole great service. Just a long wait for dessert to be served meaning that we had already finished the coffees.

We had the excellent pre theatre menu including their signature dessert, creme caramel, which is the best. Staff are always professional and friendly. Very good value.

My family and I ate at Cote for my daughter’s birthday. Brilliant service and meal. They made my daughter’s 3rd birthday meal so special. Thank you!

I think the kitchen was having a bad day - First I received a starter whose ingredients were very different from the set menu, (and not compatible with my dietary requirements), then I had the worst steak I have ever had at Cote. The good news was that the waiting staff were very apologetic and I received a replacement steak as well as a discount on my meal. This hasn't put me off dining at Cote - they are usually very consistent.

As always never disappointed, excellent food and service. Food always good, we will be returning again and would highly recommend to friends and family. Great

Quiet lunchtime but plenty of staff so we were served quickly. Being gluten intolerant can be difficult in some restaurants, but cote has an extensive gf menu, however the specials menu had no information so had to rely upon the waiter to guide me. Unfortunately I wonder if the kitchen staff understand cross contamination as I had a mild reaction to something. Nothing untoward but someone with coeliac disease might need to be careful. Won't stop me returning or from recommending cote!

Portion sizes have diminished as has the choice for the early evening menu. Goats cheese salad was one small piece of cheese in a bowl with piles of lettuce. Mousse de canard-small round serving with two pieces of cold toasted brioche. No prizes for presentation. Waiting staff quite intrusive. OK but could do so much better.

very good food, friendly service ,pleasant atmosphere. above all it was COOL on a day that was boiling. would go again willingly and cant wait for the Haslemere branch to open.

Despite being extremely busy the staff very polite and very efficient, the wines on offer very excellent and as usual the food was very nicely presented and very tasty. I would not hesitate in recommending Cote for a meal out at any time.

Had the Vegetarian breakfast for our party of six. Excellent food. Great location in central picturesque Guildford town centre. Highly recommended and especially for Vegetarians.

We had a lovely time my only grip was we all (3) had the steak and frites off the set menu but it was luke warm chips were fine. Our mistake not to say anything but we were strapped for time as going to the cinema after.
