As a venue for brunch it’s great. Nice friendly service and efficient too. Excellent choices. I visit fairly frequently and the service and quality is consistently good. Therefore it’s a restaurant I consider reliable and happy to meet up with friends knowing well enjoy the time together without worrying how the environment and service will be.

Loved the food-very tasty and well priced. But in the heat the restaurant was a little warm and uncomfortable, no sign of any air conditioning, or any fans, which was disappointing.

There is nowhere in Guildford as good as Côte for breakfast in my opinion. The vegetarian breakfast is fantastic and I’m not even a veggie! Service and food just perfect. My favourite place to start a day’s shopping!

I would have given it 5 stars but my wife asked for her omelette to be cooked soft and runny in the middle but it was dry, the filling of cheese and ham was great but if you put an omelette on the menu it should be available to your choice of cooking as is a steak, (the egg salmonella saga was over years ago).

Pleasant decor, warm welcome, friendly helpful staff and lovely food. Only negative was difficulty with conversing because of background noise not a noisy crowd just lack of sound absorbing surfaces.

I had to organise a work event for 50(ish) people. From the very beginning the staff here did absolutely everything they could to make organising this event as simple as possible. On the night the staff were extremely well prepared, and flexible for the last minute changes/cancellations that are common in groups this large. At every stage of this dinner from planning, to the night the staff were professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. On top of this the food was absolutely brilliant (as is normal for cote). When I next have to organise events, I will definitely make sure I check out where the nearest cote is.

We met up with a great friend for an impromptu supper - the restaurant was really busy and very atmospheric and the service was still amazingly efficient. As always the food was faultless - we haven't been to the Guildford Cote before but we shall definitely go again. Thank you to all the team 😁
