Great food, lovely staff - the perfect way to kick off Christmas!

Delicious food and excellent service! We were sat at a table which backed on to the barista station, which was a bit noisy - but the coffee was yum

The food was lovely, as always, but I was really disappointed with the service I received today. I felt rushed and like there was a general disinterest in anyone who wasn’t part of a large party!! I also think it’s presumptuous to add a service charge, which is at the customer’s discretion.

As always Côte delivers good food at a reasonable price. The wine is well chosen and the menu comprehensively French. Good service helps to make a pleasant evening.

Really enjoyed breakfast as usual the quality of food was great - only feedback is quality of the sausages seems to have been changed this time which is a shame as they use to be delicious

Excellent.....as always.... welcoming and despite the Christmas rush, never felt pressured to leave.

Our guests found unexpected bones in their fish dishes. It was mentioned,in passing, to the waitress but as they had both worked in the catering industry they were conscious that these things happen. I had enjoyed the same dish in Newbury the day before. I was surprised and pleased at the end of the meal that the manager arranged for a reduction in the bill. I know it's a reflection of your success but I've never eaten in a Cote with low noise levels. No I don't have an answer, sorry.

We love to come for breakfast, front of house always friendly and accommodating. Service helpful and friendly and the breakfast service is always so quick. I have had lunch and dinner at Cote in Guildford and Farnham restaurants in last 2 months and food has been a bit different and excellent. I Can recommend the pork belly and the scallops with boudin noir on parsnip puree. It’s good to see that Cote maintains its standards and they haven’t slipped over the years. Please bring back the hot cider at Christmas as you had in 2018 or a Christmas Vin Chaud would be nice

Very good, very organised, good food, swift pre theatre meal. My only criticism, the restaurant is noisy. Needs a little more soft furnishing to avoid the need to shout to be heard by one’s neighbour.

Cote in Guildford is one of our favourite restaurants. The staff are great and very friendly, especially Alex the manager. Service is excellent.

There was nowhere to wait when we arrived 10 minutes early! We were seated next to a very large noisy party so it was difficult to hear each other.

My friend had a lovely pre-Christmas lunch on the 18th. Dec. and as it was very near my birthday enjoyed the complimentary Kir Royal which was most welcome and a delcious start. Lovely late lunch with friends. Food was delicious and even though we were there chatting for 4 hours, we didn’t feel that they were trying to get rid of us.

Service excellent. My friends goat cheese salad very good, my mushroom risotto sadly ver poor, texture, taste and colour.

Slight delay for our booked table but more than compensated by a generous offer of a complimentary pre-dinner drink. hospitality and ethos always first class. we were not disappointed.

Very good value and service but because of its popularity it is always fairly noisy but cannot see that anything can be done.

This refers to the lunch in Guildford on 17th December. Excellent staff and great food at a reasonable price. The pork tenderloin was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. For dessert, the crème caramel is without doubt the crowning glory. We also visit Côte for brunch which is unbeatable value for money.

Bit of a wait when we got there as table wasn’t ready but the manager gave us complimentary drinks as an apology which we felt was a really nice gesture. Atmosphere buzzing and service very good despite the restaurant being very busy. Most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Usually really good here. Last Saturday food was below average. Shame as nice restaurant.

Bit too noisy as three of Us were sat between two very large noisy groups. We had to shout to be heard.

My girlfriend and I come here every year in Dec to start a lovely day out with a fabulous breakfast at Côté, friendly polite staff, love the French ambiance (crepe complete a must)’ great coffee . See you next year!

Very good food and the staff is well prepared and nice. Nice location as well. Prices are good. The only inconvenience was a smell of burnt food, it was noticeable but not very bothering. My ribeye steak had a slightly bitter taste due to char grilling but I like it that way. Very good experience overall. Thank you .

Wonderful food at at fantastic value. Really helpful and pleasant server, even though she was training she was super efficient! Will definitely be back soon.
