Quick and efficient service, great atmosphere and delicious food and wine.

First visit to Guildford , been too many Cote restaurants over the years. Usual standard and choice maintained apart from a bit slow with the main course.

Really good evening - excellent waiter, lovely food and wine - good to be back!

How good it was to be able to return to our favourite Guildford Restaurant and enjoy those dishes not available with the Cote at Home service. Thankfully all was as we remembered it. And as an added bonus, we were able to sit outside and watch the world go by. We were told it the first time this had been available since it opened, please keep it up when the weather suits.

Lovely to return and be welcomed so warmly. Food and service was, as ever, excellent. The goats cheese salad ( not had before) was delicious, beautifully cooked vegetables and the cheeseburger was perfect.

It was wonderful to be back in our favourite Cote, to catch up with the staff we know, food as good as ever, we have so missed just popping down the hill to eat. For a Friday night much quieter than usual but it’s early days!

It was great to be back. Your food is consistently good. But the service today by a young lady (name?) made all the difference. She made our lunch.

The staff are fantastic, Eve and her team were great. The food was delicious and we felt totally safe, the restaurant has got all the necessary measures in place (Covid 19 related) to make you feel relaxed but protected. Would highly recommend to anyone and please pass on our thanks to Eve and the team. Well done Cote :-)

Very friendly staff. Thank you for making it a nice evening during our visit last week.

This was the first evening Cote was open after lockdown. We felt comfortable with the spacing of tables and new hygiene arrangements. The food and service were as good as ever and we had a thoroughly enjoyable wedding anniversary meal.

It was so lovely to be able to return to Cote in Guildford again, now that it has re-opened after lockdown. Lunch was delicious and the service, as ever, excellent and very friendly.

Lovely lunch as always, great to see the staff and experience such a lovely welcome. The only criticism that made us feel very uncomfortable was a party of 6 people beside us who arrived individually and clearly from their conversation all came from different households, not really in the spirit of following the law!

Fantastic service as per usual. We love Côte and have regularly visited for celebration meals. This was our first venture out post lock down for our anniversary and we were hesitant about having a meal out in honesty. We needn’t of been tho, everything was safely executed and clearly explained. Tables were spaced well, staff were wearing ppe and were most importantly taking it very seriously which was relieving. Food and service was brilliant as always.

Great service and food as good as it was before lockdown

I was really happy to come to the restaurant after many months! Apparently we were the first costumers luckily enough to have welcomed back there. All the staff were wearing visors and there were some hand sanitizers in place which made me feel safe and reassured. The food was great and the presentation was spot on, I really enjoyed the lunch experience. Many thanks. I hope to come back again soon.

My husband and I had a five star experience in every way when we had an early 6.30 dinner before our theatre visit.

Excellent. Made to feel so welcome after we had a very stressful journey to get there. The service was brilliant and we were able to get to the theatre in time. The food was of a very high standard and presentation excellent. We shall be back again and our guest loved it and is definitely a convert and will visits Cote again Diana

Been back twice for the last week because always love the food there and is good value for money. But find the service has gone right down hill. The staffs on both times were seems to ignore us on purpose and not friendly at all which were very disappointed since we have enjoyed going there since the restaurant opened because of its food and good service. I don’t want to stop going there because the staffs are not so nice anymore. Definitely I was not happy to pay the service charge for some of the attitude.

I really enjoyed Cote Guildford. Lovely sea bass main and apple tart pud. Good service. A nice place to meet a friend for lunch.

We'd never been to this one before, as we usually go to the one in Horsham. We went for a day out for my mum's birthday. They recognised the note on the booking and sent over some complimentary kiri royales! The food was lovely and the service was great. It was very busy and quite noisy but a lovely atmosphere. Made for a lovely lunch in the middle of a lovely day!

Another delicious meal. Hot tiger prawn salad was warm and light and lamb rump tasty and tender. Friday night was very busy but very well managed with attentive and quick service. A most enjoyable evening

Cote reminds me very much of a typical French Brasserie: with a ready availability of cosy two seater round tables and a convivial relaxing atmosphere. The food is very good, with a wide selection of dishes from which to choose - and the staff are just right; welcomingly friendly without being intrusive. Keep it up and we'll keep coming back.
