Overall the experience was good, the service was excellent. My food was ok but did lack seasoning and I was missing some of the flavours promised in the description of the dish.

The environment was a little cold but that’s because we would rather sit outside, but the service from Carlos more than made it up. He is everything you could possibly want from a waiter!

Lobster was great, and service was very good too. Overall a fab experience.

Staff were very polite and attentive, food was great as always, the only comment is social distancing between patriots was lacking.

I have just eaten at Cote for the first time on Thursday evening and I’m completely satisfied! I would highly recommend this restaurant as I have no negative comments to make. I’ll be back again very soon. Darren 😎

Food is lovely as usual but I think the 12.5% gratuity is a bit steep even though voluntary.

A very enjoyable experience. First class organisation from reception, choice of table, speed and quality of service and food presentation. We commented between ourselves what an asset Cote’s is to to Godalming and will be recommended.

Overall a lovely meal. Just a couple of minor niggles: Wrong sort of olives served and had to be replaced and we ordered bread, which is usually a lovely fresh baguette but it came toasted! My partners lobster frite was excellent except it stated it came with a watercress salad and what arrived was a sprig of watercress as a garnish. Minor points which did not spoil a nice meal with friendly and efficient service

Excellent food again. Waiting staff very good. Only downside was how noisy the place was even though it was only half full.

The 4 of us dined at 6.15. it was busy but not crowded. The order was taken promptly and the starters arrived quickly. The waiters were attentive without being over bearing and had a good sense of fun. Overall the food was delicious, there was a good flow to the meal and I would recommend the place to others Enjoy!

Nice to be back in Godalming. Lovely service as before and food as usual- very nice thank you. Have just returned home to also find good news from you that Horsham is back with us on 1st. Sept. We live equidistant between the two. Of greatest importance was the creme caramel was exactly as I like it. Thanks.

Our first meal out after lockdown and we were all (four of us) very happy with both food and service. One of our party required a gluten-free meal. This was very clearly and simply organised and our guest felt very reassured by the way it was presented. Well done to all.

We have always loved visiting Cote at various locations for many years and having not had a lunch at a restaurant for five months due to the current situation so we we're really looking forward to today's lunch. Well what can I say, the staff were excellent, we felt extremely safe in the surroundings and the food was perfect. We have been eating the Cote at home meals for a few months and they have helped us get 'our Cote fix' during lockdown but to be back in the restaurant eating the freshly cooked food just made our day. Thank you Cote, we're so glad you are back!

Cote in Godalming is always good. I only didn't have it as six stars as it has a slightly reduced menu, post lockdown.

Before the lockdown Côte Brasserie - Godalming was our firm favourite. We would go there a couple of times a month. This was our first time back after the lockdown. Frankly we were disappointed in food quality. Our calamari starter was mostly greasy thick batter. The main courses were smaller than before and simply not as good. The desert was pretty good. Hope they will manage to get it together. We are in no hurry to go back.

My sons steak frites came out raw, we sent it back and it then came out very chewy. Not the best experience!

A lovely first time out for a meal, since March. Really friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Felt very safe, will rebook soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent food and service for the first half. Once we had finished our main course it took a long time clear the plates. We were then given dessert menus, and waited 30minutes. As noone came to take our order, despite trying to get the attention of the 3 waiters at the bar, we left and paid at the bar. Good start followed by a disappointing end to our meal.

Occasionally everything about a meal is perfect. This was one of those occasions.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It was nice to be out eating again.

Great Service, professional interaction to guests, each time the course was served the satisfaction was checked. We have had a starter to share follow by stake and fish pie. Selection of cheese platter a bit poor. I personally think cheese could be better with crackers. Place very clean.

Excellent. Had to cancel my birthday lunch at Cote on The Bridge Eton a week ago. Record temperature & to hot a day for oldies Decided to have a visit to Godalming this morning finishing up with my belated birthday meal Staff did well under the new dining rules. Catering never easy without the palava they are lumbered with now Well done Thanks
